I don't recommend these properties AT ALL! Please save yourselves the money, the bad customer service and the false information given about you! They will charge you for damages you didn't do! I rented this home for three days. Three days that we only used to SLEEP because most of the time we were out everywhere with the family. Please take photos of all tears, wears, stains and anything on walls, appliances, furniture, carpet etc etc. Otherwise. they'll blame you FOR EVERYTHING already damaged in their homes. Damages WE DIDNT DO. Would not recommend it, specially if you have children. They will use that against you!

I would not recommend this company on Air BNB or any other platform because I stayed in one of their homes for a two week vacation. The home served the purpose for our get away however, the home was not cleaned well AT ALL. We complained about having to but cleaning supplies to clean on our first day when we arrived and was given a 1 day refund which was fair given we spent our first day cleaning.

While they were semi professional while we there, besides them being rude as if we might be lying asking for proof, they were truly unprofessional with the review they gave us afterward. Because we complained, we made sure to leave the property in good condition when we departed. They also made it very clear that their customers would be charged for any trash, removal of belongings, or poor conditions.

We did not incur any additional charges but they claimed we left the home unmaitained and run down which couldn't be any further from the truth. It seems that when people are honest and complain about their property they get offended and lash out with lies about their paying customers. You can tell by their reviews on the pages of their properties.

If anyone says anything bad, they will bad mouth the customer and I don't believe anything they say of anyone else because they lied about me and my group of travelers. If you are thinking of booking a stay with them, save yourself the hassle and book with someone else.

On March 13 a national state of emergency was declared, so we cancelled our reservation for April 2020. I had put down a $550 deposit originally. This company decided not to refund me my deposit, and they're reasoning is that I cancelled before March 14. I was honestly planning on trying to stay at one of their locations again on a later date, when things calmed down.

I even tried just getting small portion of my deposit back, because they say they'll work with you for "extenuating circumstances", but they flat out denied me, even though we have major health issues and could not risk the travel right now. I do not reccomend them, if you have some type of emergency, they will not work with you. They offered me a measly $24, which I never even got.

Dec. I sent a message asking for clarification regarding the heating hours of the pool. I asked if they were based on dates or 24hrs. At which time they explained they were based on nights. January 21, 2020, we decided to heat the pool based on the information provided. We arrived the rental unit at Tuesday, February 25, 2020. The pool cover was on at that time.

We read the rental instruction book to try and figure out what to do. The only instructions provided were to cover it when we were done. Since we were leaving Sunday, that is when we would be done with the pool. We rolled the cover up and the water was cold. So we chose not to swim. Wednesday, we actually used the pool as it felt warm to us. Thursday, the pool was colder so cold my three year old started to shiver so we took him out. Friday we wanted to use the pool when we got back that evening. However, it was even colder. Saturday we woke up and the pool was freezing.

I refereed to the book again, it said it should I call "immediately" if it felt cold. I called at 11:56am. That was the first time I inquired about the temperature of the pool. No where around the pool did I see an actual thermometer for the pool to verify it was even heated. I spoke with Phyllis. I asked her how do I know if the pool is heating properly.

She asked if I had the cover on. I said "no". She then said that was common sense to leave the cover on and if I left the cover on at night it would be nice and warm. She said the pool was only heated between the hours of 8 am to 8 pm. In a previous message they said the heating schedule was based on dates not hours. I would have never paid for Tuesday, we didn't get in until after 8PM and Sunday we left before 8am.

I'm from Montana and I have never owned a pool. I told her that comment was rude and tacky. She turned around and said sorry if you took it that way. I said, well it is not common sense and her comment was unwelcome and uncalled for and I deserved and apology. She said she has been explaining this for over 20 yrs. If that is the case, why isn't it written down? Honestly I have no idea if the pool was actually heated to 84 degrees at any point of our stay.

The book said between 80-82 yet their message said 84. However, that isn't the point. The water was NEVER in the 80s. How do I know this? After we left, I stayed with family and their pool was heated to 80 and it felt like bath water. There isn't a thermometer to actually verify you are receiving what you payed for so buyer beware. Anything over 70 degrees is warm to Montanans.

The hours of the pool heater was not disclosed in the agreement nor in the binder. We were planning to use the pool after we put the kiddo to bed however, it was always too cold. I was extremely upset with the treatment I received when I called to ask about the pool. I ended up calling back later Saturday afternoon. The gal that answered finally called out a tech out. Carlos showed up at 2:10 to do the maintenance.

He mentioned the cover should be replaced. He opened a locked area up to look at the temperature. He verified that no heat was going to the pool. He covered the pool up before he left. I called back at 5pm that evening since the pool was still cold. They took my information and hung up. I called 30mins later and still nothing. I messaged them and I received a message saying the temperature in the swimming pool is not an emergency. However, the book clearly stated to call immediately if the temperature of the pool was cold.

Nothing was resolved and I asked for my money plus an inconvenience fee. I paid for the pool to be heated MY ENTIRE VISIT and chose that residence because of the pool. $175 for the heating of the pool and $25 inconvenience fee. They only supplied 2 rolls of TP for 3 toilets. I am just glad I read a previous occupants review and brought my own. I would not recommend this particular home for any children under the age of 5. The stairs are not only steep they are met with a tile landing. Use caution when booking with small children.

We were initially pleased at the cleanliness of the house as well as great pool maintenance. Our biggest issues came up when dealing with this companies customer service. Firstly, a woman told us a certain price for pool heat over the phone and then just before we were to arrive they more than doubled it! When confronted about this, they proceeded to accuse my aunt of lying, saying that no woman worked on the day of the call. Second, after our stay we suggested (very respectfully) in our air bnb review that the place was in need of some updating ie; replace a few uncomfortable mattresses and some unusable cookware.

Their response was shocking! This company proceeded to unnecessarily, publicly post my aunt's first and last name (she only made her first name public for privacy reasons), where we had travelled from, and how long we stayed. They also left a long rambling response to our simple complaints and eventually went as far as insinuating my aunt is a liar yet again! Overall I give the company a poor review because they have horrible customer service, and acted childishly when faced with respectful and honest constructive feedback.

We like this company. Friends told us about them back in the 90's and we've been coming back ever since on family vacations. Not all the homes are new but always in good shape and very clean. The few times we had issues they resolved them professionally and quickly within hours. With over 200 choices on their website I can see how for some guests make the wrong choices.

Especially if they reserve through a tour operator where you get no choice in your assigned home. In business over 35 years I guess that stands for something. Especially in Florida were so many scams seem to exist online.

Stayed at Islebrook Drive home. It was terrible. Planes flying overhead could not hear each other talk. Pool was dirty took 4 days for them to come in and half clean it we were not even offered a rebate on the pool heat (I have pictures). Light in pool was not working, was not fixed up to time we left. Phone line was not working. Came home one day and alarm was going off in house, no one attempted or came by to see what was going on. Lights in house not working. To far away from everything. This was first time booking with Alexander Homes and quite possible my last.

I was very nervous as our rental was part of an Air Transat package deal and we didn't find out what house we were getting until we arrived. The house was an older home which was fine. The home was very clean which was the thing I was most worried about. Everything we needed was supplied. My only concern was that it was not a gated community and the home did not have a security system.

This made me nervous, I would have felt much better had there been a security system. We did not have any need to contact the company the entire duration of our two week trip. The home we stayed in was the Fantasia three bedroom and it looked just like it did on their website.

We rent a house back in march everything was good until 3 weeks before the arrival time when I was notified that the house we rent wasn't available due to some needed repair, the other home they assigned was in really bad shape first 1- the bed sheets and towels smell like dust 2- the locks on 3 out the 4 bathrooms where broken 3- the set of pool chairs where must damage 4- there where Roaches all over the house also 3 days in and my family was forced to leave the pool for 3 hours cause they need to put some chemicals.

And finally the day of my arrival we get to Orlando around 2:00pn I send and email asking if was possible to get the house earlier no matter $$ if we pay extra and they told me. Do not proceed to the house until 16:00hr since the house been cleaned and still when we get there at4:30pm the house look like needed complete Reno. Rent house before direct with the owner. This is my first and last with this company.

Currently renting a PREMIUM home with them. Came in to find 15 plus mouse traps and dirty pool, stains in carpet. The manager told me it was a maintenance issue and I said they assigned us the house. I have a crippling fear of mice and he told me I was being rude for wanting another home, one that didn't have a mice infestation and he hung up on me. Please spend your hard earned dollars and vacation time supporting another company. Very rude. Very upsetting.
