Allenorth Property Management

We applied to many properties of theirs and they consistently and purposefully ignored our applications and ran us around leaving properties up for much longer than necessary. They also re-upload properties on Friday afternoons and ignore them for a weekend to rack up application fees. DONT recommend

Not great. Definitely brushed off immediately. The company doesn't detail listings-- no information about what's covered by the owner, policies and makes you reach out to them, then they seem exasperated by your asking and they barely answer any questions. Definitely don't put any stock in their renters information, it's arbitrary at best. Curt is being generous in describing correspondence and lord help you if you have more than one question.

Not even a tenant at any of their locations but if you think about calling these people to ask questions about the application process, please prepare yourself to feel like you are in the wrong for calling. Very unhelpful

They keep things in great shape inside and out and are very reliable. Well run and nice people. Would recommend.

Constantly gives us the runaround on properties that have been listed and available for a month or more. Very cruel because we are out of a home and could have had plenty of time to move to a new place if they had just run our applications

There are still some businesses that have people with class who represent landlord and tenant equally. Allenorth is that business. There is a level of thoroughness and appreciation for doing things right that I appreciate from David and Gina. Property management is not easy, but I can safely say--they do it right. This place is top notch and five star even in the 2022's.

As a renter in a market like Ashland, I've run into some pretty lousy property management companies. I can confidently say that Allenorth is not one of those. We overall had an amazing experience, from application through move-out, and would highly recommend them to anyone. So grateful we got to spend our last months renting with Allenorth as our landlords.

I wish I would have read the reviews first prior to even dealing with this company. We submitted an application for a rental on October 1st the day the rental was posted. The next day I called and asked if our app was received and was told there were 10 people in front of us. How could this be? So we waited and on Oct 8th we called and were told we were second in line then on Oct 11 we were told two people ahead of us then on October 12th we were told we were next in line.

Then on the 13th I mentioned we were previous property managers and did not understand why the application process was taking so long. Gina then told me the home was rented and would refund our money yet if we wouldn't have reached out to them she would not have let us know it was rented it seems like the moment we mentioned we were previous property managers she disqualified us.

We asked if we could be considered for another property she totally ignored us. This lady is very rude and has no professionalism. We do not recommend them to anyone at all. I told her to not refund via PayPal please because I no longer had access to it yet she went ahead and refunded it thru there.

We love Ashland and we're hoping to eventually move there. We reached out to Allenorth properties about a rental listing and talked to Gina. She was beyond unhelpful--she was surly. She seemed greatly put out by our questions. I get that the rental market is tight there, but courtesy doesn't cost a thing. I would steer clear of these folks unless you like rudeness.

I had an outstanding experience renting for two years with Allenorth. I found them to be of great integrity towards the property and tenant. They were quickly responsive to any needs and approach their work with great judgement and clear and professional communication. I highly recommend them.

AlleNorth has to be the WORST rental experience I've had. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. Our condo was absolutely filthy when moving in with mold, dirt, and trash everywhere. The staff are rude, difficult to work with, and Absolutely useless. I would never recommend them.

Dishonest people. My experience was initially as a renter. I inquired why the lease was only for a 7 month period, and they said it was to make sure that the tenants were desirable. I asked if it was because the owners were planning on selling the home come spring, they insisted it wasn't the reason, and that we would be able to sign a longer lease after ours was up.

I inquired two other times before the lease was up, they insisted the owners had no interest in selling. Well, come spring, they contacted us saying the owners were putting it on the market and we needed to be out. Why not just be honest in the first place? They knew the owners wanted to sell in spring.just tell us. We put tons of work into the property, bought furniture, became part of the community, fell in love with the house, neighborhood etc.

To top it off, they represented the seller as an agent. We ended up buying the place after an agonizing experience with them, because we didn't want to move and put so much work into making it home, and fell in love with it and our neighborhood. The house had a lot of issues and deferred maintenance we told them about as renters, that they just wouldn't address.

When we went into negotiations they still wouldn't adress it, because they knew they had us. What a nefarious way to do business, even if I was the seller benefiting from the shady, dishonest way in which this company operates. Shame on them.

Allenorth has been my property mgr for 6 years. I have had nothing but a great experience with them as a renter. They care very much about both renters and owners are great at communication and if anything goes wrong they fix it right away and they to make renters as comfortable as possible. I hope that I can always rent through them.

I have been a renter with Allenorth for 6 years. They have always given me great service. They are great at communicating in a timely and respectful manner. Whenever I have a service need, they deal with issues immediately and care that I am comfortable. They seem to also care about their owners and that they properties are cared for well. I would give them the highest recommendation.

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! I am a student and was taken advantage of by this company! I was told the carpets would be clean on arrival, they were not! So I payed out my own pocket to have them cleaned.then when I moved out they charged me 300$ to have all the carpets replaced! Total schemers for every cent! Very terrible communication with tenants! Overall worst rental experience in Ashland! Look else where!

I give this Property manangement company 5 stars. As a renter i had an excellent experience with them! Kind, professional, and quick to fix any problems with house. Always within 24 hours! We even loved the landscaper they provided us with. After we moved they made sure we got most of our deposit back. Really loved them!

Scott and Gina have always been great; they respond immediately when something needs attention, send professional service folks, and are always very nice to deal with. But they beat all records when our oven died on Christmas Eve and they had it professionally repaired before the end of the day. I highly recommend Allenorth Properties.

Most reliable & professional property management experience I've ever had. I leased an apartment at a fantastic price & was always treated well. During my year long lease the property had only minor/typical problems & they were resolved within a day of notifying them! The bar has been set very, very high!

I agree with all of these other posts, Allenorth is always reasonable, simple and peaceful. Perfect for having a rental in Ashland.

As owners of a vacation/rental property in Ashland since 1995, we've been through multiple property managers, some of which were flat out incompetent, and others that were less than ethical; some were both. Then we found Allenorth in 2009, and our beautiful property was FINALLY in good hands! Extremely competent, 100% ethical, we now sleep a lot better knowing Gina and Scott are watching over our investment (and future residence when we retire). If you've had as much trouble as we have had and are fed up with B- and C-level property managers, step up to the A-Level and call Allenorth.

I needed assistance with placement services for my property in Ashland. Not knowing who go to, I started surfing the net and found AlleNorth Properties. Gina Allen quickly responded to both voicemail and email. She informed me AlleNorth could market the property, show the home, screen applicants and write the lease. She said optimally it takes about 3 weeks.

Guess what? Three weeks later, our new tenants moved in! If you have a property you need to rent out, I highly recommend the services, professionalism and responsiveness that AlleNorth provided.

We currently live in a rental that AlleNorth manages. Throughout the entire process of working with them--the initial contact, the showing, the lease details, questions about the property, requests for maintenance--they've been professional and extraordinarily nice. Our calls are always returned promptly, and any maintenance that we ask to be done is scheduled and completed quickly. Their contractor they use for house calls is also very good. Highly recommended.
