Ambassador Property Management

Pretty good apartments. But heating and cooling quality is poor. Management not that helpful sometimes! Overall a medium experience.

My HOA switched to Ambassador a couple years ago. In that time they did not resolve the termite issue that we each paid 4K on, despite "you have my word this will be resolved" by the owner Bob Fuselier when I went to the board meeting and sent several follow up emails. It's been 2 years, please see pictures of my balcony as of today 8/5/21. We pay $400 a month on HOA, but this property management has fees that have not been disclosed to homeowners.

For example, if you refinance your house, they will hold up your loan to fill out the condo information form (2-4 pages), which takes 15min to fill out, is information that should be public, until you pay $300 (process within 10 business days) and $400 (within 5 business days). They also want a hard copy check Fedex overnight since they won't accept online bank transfers, credit card payments, despite the fact we pay our HOA fees on their portal.

They say they'll respond within 1-2 business days but it's several days to weeks later before I receive a call back or response to an email. Usually, only when I've sent a second or third follow up.

Ambassador Property Management and Jessica Baru in particular have done a great job of managing our rental property literally for decades. They have always been quick to respond, punctual in keeping appointments, and always kept me informed about what the property needs for maintenance. Very highly recommended!

Our HOA has used Ambassador as our manager for a few years now. I have nothing but great things to say about them! They helped us through a major renovation and helped us get our finances in order. Bob has a nice touch with the members so that everyone feels heard and puts in countless extra hours getting us on our feet. If you need a new manager, you would be hard pressed to do better than Ambassador.

Ambassador Property Management helped us find and keep a good tenant with their excellent service. They were on the ball and helped us deal with a picky tenant. We're selling our rental unit but if ever we have another one, we would definitely work with them again. Jessica Baru was great to work with.

Prompt, professional and highly communicative. I contacted Ambassador to manage a 1bd 1bath rental property as my family and i were going to be on the road for 1 year. They found a great tenent, found contractors for renovation and when the upstairs apartment leaked into our causing severe damage they contacted the HOA, Kept in touch with HOA contractor and upstairs owner. Jessica Baru in particular has been outstanding. Highly recommend.

Working with Jessica at Ambassador has been a very pleasant experience. She has always been available to take care of our needs and returns all of our calls promptly. We are so glad that Ambassador is our leasing company on all of our units. They do inspections, get in touch with us when repairs are needed, and are in constant contact with our tenants.

I would NEVER refer someone to Ambassador property management. They totally screwed us over. After touring a condo and applying, we were called and told we had been approved and could move in 4 days from said call. After packing up our entire house, renting a uhaul and preparing to sign the lease and move in same day, we were told the owner had never actually approved us. Jessica told me she would work hard helping us find an alternative place to live and for 3 days I contacted her and left messages which she never returned. Luckily we found a much better place without the help of ambassador. Oh and if Jessica is reading this, thanks for not calling me back. Worked out for us after all!

As a property owner, I have been working with Ambassador for my property rentals for more than 10 years. The company has consistently provided outstanding service to me and to my tenants for a very long time. Ambassador has an extremely adept team that keeps me informed of minor issues well before they become expensive problems. I look forward to doing business with the company for the next 10 years.

Ambassador Property Management is by far the best property management company in San Diego county. They are very kind, caring, and attentive to all of our needs. They really stay on top of it. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a rental property or want to rent out your home. Bob, Kim and the staff are amazing!
