MEB Manages the Villa Toscana Apartments that I stayed at for 2 years 2018-2020. The reason I am writing this review in 2022 is I recently was applying for an Apartment in Portland and I was declined. I was very surprised by this as I have great credit and no late payments ever. I discovered that there were late payments listed in 2019 when I was at Villa Toscana.

I paid the lease in full, so I knew that there were errors on the report. I then spoke with Villa Toscana, who were very helping and interested in helping me and they referred me to MEB. I then spoke with Cassie at MEB and within minutes we had the situation sorted out and 15 minutes later I was emailed documentation to show the apartments I was applying at that there were never any late payments and the account was in good standing. Cassie was very polite and professional and I was treated very well and felt comfortable with the solutions to my problem. MEB took care of the problem and even went so far as to notify the Rental board about the errors and to give them documentation to fix the errors on their end so it doesn't happen again. They easily could have left this task to me, but elected to take care of it themselves and for that, I am grateful.

I have worked with MEB for over 14 years. Very professional and caring group. They show they care and have strong values in caring for their residences, employees, and vendor partners. I can always visibility tell an MEB community from others by the fresh paint and the upkeep of the property.

Ever since MEB took over Trovita Rio in Tempe a few months ago, the property is not maintained or cleaned. You can never reach anyone at the leasing office to help with an issue. Fees assessed to our account with no explanation. Dishonest, disrespectful, rude group of people. Would never recommend renting from this company.

Critical: Quality The facilities at GC Square are not being kept up. This is a picture of the pool. The walkways really need to be power washed. The complex just really isn't being taken care of. I'm hoping you spend time very soon fixing it up.

These people are supposed to be affordable housing. They get tax exemption, and government subsidies to be affordable. They charge what all the regular non supplemented apartments. They raised my rent without notice. Then 3 months later tried to "undercharged" me. Then tried to evict me for not wanting to pay. This is illegal. When I took it to court, the court agreed with me. The manager must have gotten in trouble, because she has had it out for me ever since.

I applied for an apartment at Avalon Hills Apartments in Phoenix (managed by MEB), and their website said the base monthly rent was $760, I paid the $100 application fee (for 2 occupants) plus the $100 holding deposit, but then four days later I check the status of the application online and it says "Rent price changed from $760 to $900 - 25 minutes ago".

So I called them and they said I supposedly applied while the website was updating, and the rent price changed. With the price being much higher than advertised on their own website, and the fact that I applied under the impression the rent was $760 (and it said it was $760 for 4 whole days until literally an hour ago), I feel that I am entitled to a full refund of the application fees and holding deposit ($200 total), as I would not have even applied if their own website had the correct price in the first place.

But Laura in the leasing office is refusing to refund the application fees, so now I'm out $100 because of their own mistake. Absolutely appalled at the lack of understanding and lack of customer service.

MEB manages The Radius Apartments I live at. I dealt with a lot of management companies and so far MEB is the best. Ryan at radius is the manager and is so awesome. I never met a company that cares about their residents like this one. I hope the rest of MEB cares about their residents like Ryan and Felix do at Radius. Please let them know they are the best.

DO NOT RENT from this company. I am a current (November 2020) tenant at Tierra Pointe Apartments in Albuquerque which is managed by MEB Management Services. Please see my review of the Tierra Pointe Apartments. If this property represents their others I must say you should not live on properties managed by this company. The primary issue is a lack of responsiveness by management to complaints.

You can complain for weeks about problems and they won't touch them or even reply to your concerns. Second issue is the existence of so many things that are problems that need complaining about! I spent the first several weeks living here complaining about problems and got ignored. I wish somebody warned me before I made the mistake of living here. COCKROACHS when I move in getting caught in my glue traps before I even have food or any trash.

I shouldn't have to complain and deal with this. The COCKROACHES probably come from the OVERFLOWING DUMPSTERS. constantly overflowing. I shouldn't have to complain and bring this to management's attention either: even managers have eyes and can see the garbage overflowing. It appears homeless people make forts around the property in the garbage overflow.

The front gate never locks so walk in anybody and everybody anytime. Also, AC only blows HOT AIR. Again how many times did it take complaining for you to pay attention. They don't tell you about these problems before you move in and you don't have a way to really detect them yourself (they don't show you the actual unit you will be renting only a model unit).

They only take you to your unit after you've signed the lease and they give you a checklist for damages. All the surprises come after you've signed the lease. Good luck getting out. they include numerous termination provisions to try to prevent people from leaving early, despite the unsanitary conditions. The management is rude and heartless and does not timely respond to requests for service.

It does not help to talk to them in person. Management only responds to reviews online. And that's just to say sorry and save public face and try to take control of the narrative. They don't care about their tenants. Don't live here. Management please don't respond to this posting it doesn't need your response. You have already demonstrated your inability to care or act professionally.

I look forward to things improving, hopefully. Please be forewarned. Find somewhere better to live. I wish somebody told me of all these problems before I signed the lease. I have many more reasons to complain but there is a character limit. Simply put, do not live here.

ANYTHING RAN BY THIS COMPANY IS A JOKE! AVOID! They do not handle business or follow the leases they create. Horrible people work here and are the most greedy people I have ever experienced. Please do yourself a favor and read reviews before doing any bussiness with these scumbags.

I work with MEB as a partner have nothing great to say about their leadership on the management level and the property level! Their staff is kind, friendly and professional. They do what it takes to make sure their renters are priority. I highly recommend MEB properties to any renter!

Definitely glad I did not move into a property managed by this company. I am owed money from an application fee. The check was sent to an out of state address after I informed the office of the tuscano villa apartments in Phoenix, that the address is incorrect and to not send the check there. I would come to the office. They sent the check anyway.

My check was fraudulently cashed. I made the necessary steps to have another check issued to me. I'M STILL WAITING. I've contacted office and was told another check was sent out. WHERE TO? Then a month later I was told the check was returned to the post office. WHY? Since that info 2 weeks have gone by. This whole situation occurred 3 months ago. I call the property manager number, I get no answer. I know I dodged a bullet if this is how this company operates. I'm going to contact the BBB and see if I can get a response.

Consistent turnover with managers. Had to sign the lease twice because the "lost" the first one only to notice changes to the contract. During move in the apartment was not cleaned and had exposed outlets. They told us that the community had a security service and remote access gates (which never worked). When we called the security company they said they no longer work with Elevation Apartments because they did not pay their bill. College kids hoping the fence having loud pool parties at 1am and management doing nothing about it. I will never rent from MEB again.

Worst place I ever lived and rude, unhelpful uncompasstionate staff & money hungry MEB Management! First off: You will never have parking besides your assigned covered spot! Their solution is to either rent an outrageously priced tiny garage (that everyone uses for storage that's why theres no parking & I pointed it out to office with pics and it's in Lease you cannot use as storage but yet again, they didnt care) or park on a dark street outside complex, to which you can receive a ticket.

Pool is usually closed down on the hottest days. Hot tub not hot. Pool area unsafe after dark-again no help from office staff. Dog feces all over property. Not a secure complex, as gate locks always broken! Last but not least.got new neighbors around Nov 2020 to which our backyards backed to eachother. To make a long horrific story kind of short: I witnessed my said new neighbor physically abusing his two dogs so bad I went into hysterics and yelled crying and ran to office.

They cared less and said nothing they can do. Again, I will try to shorten this. I lost many nights sleep over what I witnessed as I have been in Vet field. They left these aggresive (now i know why they are) outside 24/7 no shade. Office again didnt care about that ir their barking. I advised them we wanted to break our lease after they emailed neighbor about my abuse complaint-as abusive neighbor came to my house and wouldn't stop ringing my doorbell to confront me & let me know "i better learn to get along with him because he has another year here".

I was home alone and didnt feel safe AT ALL! Office staff and MEB didnt care about the dogs safety or mine! Just repeatedly reminded me of the $3000 to break my lease 5 months early! I even tried to beg them that I'd pay half and I dont feel safe around him. NOPE! Still want their $3000! Beware! Also, $1800 (after all the fees) is way too much for a 2bdr 2bath in that area!

Best thing about living there were the sweet maintenance crew! So MEB & Avilla Grace=money hungry & support dog abuse! BEWARE! Took 3 weeks and several voicemails for MEB to respond to me to discuss breaking of lease fee. All to which was pointless, still want their $3000!

MEB does not care about the health and safety of their tenants. I live at Bella Victoria in Mesa and when I struggled to get my leaking front door fixed by BV I reached out to them for help. Initially, instead of writing review here about my experience I instead called the number listed in replies below in hopes of being properly assisted. Eventually the door was "fixed" but no remorse or proper offer of compensation was provided for the hell myself and my family have gone through. Oh, those fixes didn't even last two months as my door is already leaking, again for the 3rd time.

If you'd like you can read my review on BV's page. I don't enjoy having to do this, I hate confrontation and don't enjoy publicly putting anyone on blast but this is more than warranted. There are a plethora of other issues but I would run out of characters listing them all. I have lost literally thousands of dollars because of BV and MEB.

Why not move you ask? I have a bunch of reasons why but frankly I shouldn't have to. MEB owns a lot of complexes in the area which narrows the selection drastically and moving to a differently owned complex won't guarantee I won't go through this there as well. Please always make sure to stand up for yourself and don't allow them to gaslight you into backing off wanting to live in a fit and habitable apartment.

A quick Google search will show this is actually becoming an issue nation wide - big companies owning multiple complexes with their goal of keeping maintenance costs nonexistent so they can pad their profits. Of course a business needs to make money to stay open but to do so at the expense of their tenants heath and well being is extremely ugly territory to venture into.

Regardless of where you live always make sure to fully investigate not only the specific apartment complex itself but the company that owns it as well. I just cannot believe I am having to write this and deal with it. I first brought my front door to the attention of BV on January 18th, 2019 and I am still having to deal with it. I am not an unreasonable person.

When the drawer in the hall bathroom couldn't be fixed because the unit itself is cheap and wasn't installed properly (BV's words) they never heard a peep out of me again about it. When my blinds again broke after only being used two times and breaking again they never heard a peep from me about that either. Trying to twist things and put it back on me is completely unacceptable.

The district manager never reached out to me to apologize and the woman I was put in contact with at MEB did the very bare minimum when interacting with me on the door issue. I literally wouldn't be able to sleep treating someone this way.

Contacted the agency multiple times as in the reply they said they would like to discuss the issue to get it remedied. They never answered the phone or called back to follow-up. Company is all talk and no walk. Literally disgusted with how they run their business and they should have a lawsuit opened against them for treating people with uninhabitable living conditions and not remedying the MULTIPLE situations. Disgusted.

It's been a month! that I've been calling leaving voice mails no one never returned my calls, not Leslie nor Sandra but they did contact my apartment building to let them know I was calling to make a complaint. What a joke!

Thank you for raising the rent $115 over what I was paying being a single parent and all! Also, I never received my renewal notice until 5 days before the end of the Month. Way too make an impression on those residents who cannot afford almost $1000 rent. Looking for a new apartment has been difficult and I had to re-sign with your apartment complex because i cannot afford for my son and I to be homeless again. Also, instead of sending out a form agreement saying "Hey. were your new managers?" Why not give us residents ample notice( like a couple months) that you will be taking over the community. Way to shine!

MEB is run by liars and completely unorganized. I was all set to transfer to another property when MEB bought the property I was moving out of a week before my move. I checked with the office that everything was still all set for my move. They ASSURED me it was and they knew about me transferring. On the first of the month I paid my prorated amount for the next 8 days.

The day I moved I had my moving crew turn in the keys after cleaning the apt because this is what we were told to do. So imagine my surprise when, 3 months later I get a call from a collections agency claiming I owed MEB for unpaid rent and a cleaning charge. I never received a bill, phone call or email. The collections call was the first correspondence.

When I called the manager, Darlene, she assured me that it would get straightened out I just had to provide paperwork. I did. She never responded to my multiple calls and emails. She told me twice that she would provide me with pictures that prove they needed to charge a cleaning fee and never produced said pictures. I drove down from Phoenix TWICE to see them in person.

The first time, the office staff claimed they didn't know what I was talking about. The second, Darlene tried to avoid talking to me, then stormed out of her office to verbally attack me. When I knew I was speaking with an unreasonable character, I left and I called the corporate office. NOBODY returned my call. They then wrote an email to collections claiming I never turned in my keys till 8 days after my move, thus justifying my unpaid rent.

Funny how that came 3 months later. They will say and do anything to avoid customer service. I now have a black mark on my previously impeccable rental/credit history because they can't admit fault and make things right. Lesson learned, ALWAYS get their promises in writing and get a signed statement on the day you turn in your keys. I am glad I didn't stay long enough to see that property mishandled further. Disgusting.

I live at the Stone Ridge Apartments in Bullhead City AZ. I have lived there since 2008. I've been a loyal tenant. Paid my rent on time. Have had NO complaints against me. And every year, for 10 yrs, I have always been offered a new lease. Now I have been giving a 60 day notice from MEB. MEB and new manager Emily never even asked or offered me a chance to renew because they claim I am not happy here. WRONG!

I WAS happy here UNTIL MEB and new manager Emily took over! Ever since then, several maintenance disasters have happened and currently former and current tenants are experiencing ongoing maintenance issues NOT resolved. STAY AWAY from ANYTHING MEB owns! You will REGRET IT! This management company does not care about the residents, they only care about $$$$.

I will try to make this short and simple. MEB Management Services is one of the worst management companies I have ever dealt with. I am a new resident here at The Park at Deer Valley, I moved here to save money, and it has been nothing but hell. This apartment complex is disgusting. I was moved into a roach infested apartment along with my front door that had been previously kicked down from a burglary and was never repaired upon moving in.

All of my requests went ignored for two weeks until I sat down with Monica who is the rudest and most condescending person I have ever met. I am coming up on week 4 and my requests are now barely being met. I have had to throw away hundreds of dollars worth of food and other groceries from roaches being in my cabinets, freezer, and fridge. I allowed Monica to inspect my apartment after finding multiple roach egg sacs and dead and alive roaches.

She simply walked out and ignored me. I was also threatened with eviction because I have attitude. That's illegal. I was simply upset and last time I checked it's not illegal to be upset and complain. In addition, everything they have done here is illegal. I have everything recorded along with pictures and evidence. My emails and calls to MEB and their lawyers have all gone ignored.

I am not sure who to turn to considering Monica told me she wouldn't answer to any more of my complaints and apparently her supervisor told her to ignore me. Again I moved here to save money, yes I've been upset but I have done nothing offensive. I should be the least of their worries, considering all the illegal immigrants and drug dealers who live here. Moving here was the biggest mistake of my life and MEB makes it even worse. Never rent an apartment managed by them.

SO, MEB buys out CAMDEN in Las Vegas| Henderson only to sell us out again to "Who Only Knows Who" - FAIRWAYS ON GREEN VALLEY APARTMENTS - with a letter in the door today: Community Portal shut down same day as dated letter no other information - TODAY, 1/27/2017. Obviously, they flipped the property and did NOTHING for us RESIDENTS except use OVERCHARGES of our sub-metering (evidence from HWD) of water, sewer and trash to finance their FLIP? Unethical, greedy, poor management to say the least.

See FAIRWAYS ON GREEN VALLEY review for letter. Ignored security issues, gunshots included by pool across from our building even - ignored! Still no security we supposedly pay for nor pest control we pay for. Forced HOA W COX, Very expensive utility bills due to terrible window and doors, faux exterior unnecessary remodeling with inferior 80's interior. Sign flipper and balloons to attract renters to supposed gated community "home" - nice try. But we deserve better.

If I could give this company zero stars. I would. They took over my complex which was peevishly managed by alliance. with the previous management company, the longest I had to wait for a work order to be completed was 2 days. I have waited 10 days for a repair on a ceiling fan that is half way out of my ceiling. When I went to the office, the woman was extremely condescending and remarked that it's "only been 10 days" and that I should be patient and so on and so forth.

I have rented here for almost 2 years. I will not be renewing, nor will I ever rent from this management company again. Also, see the picture of the slide. It's been broken for nearly 3 months. And has a big piece of metal exposed from the ground. Clearly the safety of their residents is their last concern.

In regards to Chuparosa Apts in Chandler Meb management recently took over the property from Allison Shelton in November and it has been nothing short of atrocious. Let's start with lease renewal. Because of it being a new management company, they are not honoring the rate increase cap that was in your previous rental agreement. We just got our renewal letter in the mail and our base rent is increasing $85 a month is we chose to renew for 12 months (the cap in our lease that they are not honoring was a max increase of $20 a month) The new staff.

The staff, both maintenance and front office can be seen riding around the property smoking in the golf carts. This becomes an issue when they then immediately come into your apartment to do maintenance and carry the cigarette snell in with them. You'll notice the front office now drowns you with the smell of cigarettes when you walk in. Work orders.

The roof leaked back in early December causing water to gather in our ceiling, creating that bubbling effect, and leaking onto our carpet. They have fixed the roof, but have yet to come in and replace the section of drywall on the ceiling that was soaked (I am hoping it hasn't developed mold!) Overall, we have lived here 2 years and loved it sad to see Allison Shelton management go, we will absolutely be leaving this property and we recommend that you avoid it at all costs.

First let me state that my review is based solely upon my interaction with Karey B, the property manager for North Phoenix (NorTerra) for MEB Rental Homes. We have been tenants of a property in NorTerra since January. The prior property management (Metropolitan) was horrible. By far the worst I've ever dealt with. So, my expectations were minimal at best when I found out a new management team was coming in to replace Metropolitan.

From my first call to Karey, to my first maintenance request, and subsequent follow ups I have always had amazing response, and have been able to reach Karey EVERY time I have called during business hours. Also, my first repair had Patrick come in from American Air and Appliance, and I couldn't be more pleased with the level of service provided by him and team.

This new property management team is off to a rockin' start. Thank you Karey, Patrick from American Air, and MEB. You have already exceeded our expectations by providing better services in one month, than our prior property management team did during the first half of the year!
