Working at Asset Living has been an overwhelmingly positive experience. You're treated as an equal no matter what level you are in the company, and I feel consistently heard by those around me and by those in higher positions. There's a strong sense of team pride that's felt throughout the firm regardless of where you sit or what you work on, which enables strong and efficient collaboration. There's also a lot of room for growth at the firm--my role feels like part of my career, rather than just a job. Looking forward to seeing where it takes me!

Absolutely a horrible company, takes over properties and does not adhere to leases even taking amenities away. And the day before rent is even due they begin the process of harassing you via email phone and text just after midnight. Before you rent make sure asset living is not running behind the scenes

Every review is true asset living just took over the paramount at Kingwood god I hate there the new management. There leasing agent Cristial is unprofessional & very rude they have a bunch of new charges on the portal ledger which are unexplainable. There increasing rent prices on units without upgrades. Making the rent very unaffordable I reached out to the regional director, I'm awaiting a response i renewed my lease but honestly do not see myself living here long especially with management ignoring the tenants request & continuously going up on rent for no apparent reason. I see why people are moving out & leaving I should have knew better

I started a lease back at the end of January, I shortly cancelled because I wasn't uprooted from Louisville, Ky. Which now I am homeless, I get a call from a Bryce (secretary) to inform me that I'm legally bound to a lease-which to my knowledge was canceled before I left Louisville. I then asked to speak with the GM or Assistant GM (the same people I did the deal and cancelling with) well they no longer have an active GM or assistant GM. Bryce was very rude speaking about going to court and how he was the acting GM.

I've been calling corporate to get this situated and they're working remotely with no promptness. My lease that I canceled is supposed to start in August. I'm highly upset because I have left messages and people at this establishment seem unreachable about this matter. I'm not big on writing reviews. this is my first, I just have no other options at this time.

Asset living is currently the managing company for Lakeline apartments in leander tx. Please don't even waste your time moving into this ran down poorly managed apartment complex. The manager Vickie Nunez is a slum lord! The apartments are either not move in ready, mold infested or roach infested! Nothing will be fixed. All work orders will be closed out as completed and nothing was ever completed. Vickie could care less about the condition of these apartment units. Vickie has a very nasty, unprofessional attitude.

She will yell at you and Hang the phone up In your face. During the winter months I had to use my oven to keep me and my kids warm for 2 months because the Manager Vickie refused to send a professional company out to fix the heater. I had to end up reporting Vickie to Leander City Code enforcement to get the heater fixed. Code department made her bring 2 portable heaters until my heater was fixed.

My smoke alarms were ALL expired, had mold on them and one was not working at all. Once Again Vickie refused to replace required, operable, up to code smoke detectors after sending her several emails, work orders & phone calls where she would hang up in my face. I was left with no choice but to report her to the fire department. My kids and I moved in this DUMP on 10-01-2021 I was told that a dishwasher was being ordered for my unit.

Now I'm being told that my unit will not be receiving a dishwasher at all. I spoke to Vickie boss the regional manager whom is employed by Asset living. She came did a walk thru, took pictures in MARCH of everything that needed repairs and today is may 31st and still no repairs! I have sent 3 different emails to the regional manager for an update on repairs over the last several months.

Nothing is being done! These people are slum Lords and do not care about the tenants at all! Vickie has been retaliating against me every since I had no choice but to go thru the City of leander code enforcement & the Leander Fire Department. Please people save yourselves a lot of grief and headaches DO NOT MOVE HERE

The name of the company does not always entail that the company overall is not a good one. I worked for Asset for 6+ years. They are great to their employees and their standards for residents is HIGH! If you are not happy at the property you rented, try connecting with a site-level manager first. A review to the corporate site does you no good. I highly recommend Asset to both employees and residents. They have good policies in place to grant good living and working experiences.

GO FIND A GRAYSTAR Property, this company you will have alot if problems with. Trust us tenants that have lived here for a while. I previously did a post about experience at this property. I have lived here for 4 years. Since the property was taken over by Asset living it has gone down. I was able to work with the new staff trying to be patient as they got things in order. Urgent sitialtions they wont even ckntact their corperate office for help, they just tell you they dont know how.

You're on your own. We were without a gate for a whole year. A car ran into it, it stayed open for a year. Alot of things did not work, out of order and slow work orders, ACs definitelyout if order this summer. The staff when they first took over was friendly, however the property still needed work, and upkeep. Now there had been another turn over, new employees.

They not helpful in the customer service department. Once you become a tenant you are nothing, forgotten about, but they beg you btmo do reviews. We hoped for improvement. Tenants have to leave voicemails and pray for a call back. They only answered calls are of new potential renters. Our rent goes up tremendously every year. Dont be fooled by how beautidul the pool is. Thats all you will have is a pool that you have to share with the public because they cant seem to keep the public out of our gate in the summer time. Eventually its going to turn into the slums. Slowly getting that way, stone oak is too beautiful for that. PleaseL ook elsewhere.

Heed all of the warnings as every one of them on here are true. I live at a Campus Evolution Villages (managed by this company). Their treatment of those paying them rent every month is appalling. There are too many examples to list here but over a 2 year period, I have experienced everything listed here in the reviews first hand. MANY llegal practices on top of that.

Our complex was just bought out. We were not told about this happening until after it had happened. Asset has ruined their own name so badly that our complex was given an entire new name at the time the other management company took over.

Critical: Professionalism I worked for Asset for 9 months in 2021. Don't even bother if you are thinking about it. I received no training or tools to perform my job. I was expected to be on call 24/7/365 as I was the only maintenance on the payroll. This was the biggest disappointment of a job I've had.

Currently reside at a property managed by this company and it's just awful. The management staff does nothing to resolve tenant issues. The property is dirty. Trash overflows constantly. It has great amenities except they're frequently broken or closed. The front gate to the complex hasn't worked since july. We had packages stolen and vehicle vandalized because of this.

There are no working cameras. We have horrible loud neighbors that disrupt several apartments in our building. When contacted management promised to deal with it but does nothing. Also if you try to escalate and contact anyone at Asset living you will be ignored. Shameful unprofessional behavior from a so called property management company.

Terrible treatment of tenants and their parents. My son and roommates were assessed a cost for some cleaning and other apartment damage at the end of the lease. After only 1 communication to my son, Asset Living, the management of the property sent the bill to debt collection. No reasonable effort was made to contact me even though they have my home address, both my wife and my emails, and both my wife and my cell phones.

I have never heard of any company taking such a ridiculous nuclear approach rather than make a reasonable attempt to contact their customer. Very disrespectful and rotten treatment of both my son and our family. I am sure there are more reasonable and decent companies that your student can rent. Stay away from any property managed by the Asset Living.

Once your company took over the management of Montreux Apartments in Phoenix, the management went into the tank. They delete work order and state they are completed. Still waiting on a bathroom fix problem that had an AC leak and black mold that happened in August. No communication as to updates on when it would be fixed. I have had to enter the request 3 times.

But the saddest part is that the management before behaved professionally and respected the tenants, and knew people by name. One particular leasing agent is so rude and disrespectful and will put responsibility on other agents. The others try but they seem to have no idea what is going on in the properties. When you pay as much rent as we do, the elevators and entries ways should be cleaned and mopped. When you look at all your other reviews, does that not mean anything to your corporation? sad.just sad.

Getting a job and signing a lease for Asset living seemed to be a no brainer. Overall, the knowledge that I gained from this job was great. I enjoyed the overall job, but management ruined my experiences and my mental health. The mangers lack basic communication and it trickles down to CA's and creates issues within us all. Asset does not train their mangers to treat employees with respect.

If you show that you care even a little about this job, they will begin to overwork you. The standards are not set evenly between all community assistants and it creates chaos. The purpose of commission is to make money but mangers are too lazy to separate the leases. Overall, the mangers care so little about who they are managing and it is obvious. Any questions that you have will never be answered and you will get the run around constantly. Asset living has proven to have zero morals and only care about the money.

All of the good reviews on here are made by people who work in the corporate office for Asset. Asset does not care one bit about their residents or non-corporate employees. They overwork and severely underpay employees. So much so that the managers have forbidden discussing how much you make to other employees. Their student housing complexes are extremely low quality and outdated. They price gauge and do everything in their power to take advantage of young adults. Stay as far away as possible!

I have had the pleasure of both living and working at Asset properties. The company is very innovative for marketing strategies and I did pick up a strong foundation in marketing. That is about the only positive aspect of my 4 year experience with this company. There is a silent encouragement of working way too many hours. Most of the employees are severely over worked and due to this underpaid.

Communication amongst the company as a whole is almost nonexistent unless pertaining to new strategies of securing leases. Most managers are under qualified and improperly trained with a severe lack of guidance. This leads to many poor customer service experiences. The list of egregious things I have witnessed and even had the pleasure of dealing with myself is never ending.

I highly recommend avoiding properties managed by Asset or at least keeping meticulous detail of any and all payments/ encounters. If you are considering working for the company I recommend doing so for a short period of time. The training is beneficial however the pay, stress level, and treatment of employees is embarrassing at best. Most of corporate despite what they would lead subordinates to think are unhappy with their position, and most are settling dragged on by the hopes of something better.

This review does not do justice to the severity of all the things that have personally happened to me let alone what I have witnessed, but in order to express that I would need to draft a 10 page manifesto. Know the risks of where you choose to live because though it may seem minor a poor management company can have a severe and long lasting impact on your life - especially during a pivotal time such as college.

Asset Living are total slumlords with no regard for the health or dignity of their tenants. They run the Reserve in San Antonio, which is student housing. Friends of mine who lived there went 7 months without working A/C and the apartment had dangerous mold that harmed their health. Asset Living didn't fix these problems and then have the audacity to charge them thousands of dollars to leave the unsafe apartment! SLUMLORDS!
