Made the renting process easy and got all of our security deposit back except for the cleaning fee which was agreed upon in our contract

When our home in Prescott Valley needed to be rented and managed, we interviewed many managers. We felt comfortable with CMA and signed on with them. Within a month the property was rented. They have helped with maintanice over the years and now its up for rent again. Julie Miles stepped up and has taken care of everything for us. I might mention at a very resonable price!

He attention and care for our home is most appreciated, she communicates well (we are out of state) and made sure it was done right. The home is already rented within a couple weeks. She is as good as you can ask for.

Top notch service with a smile. It's great that they have a property management company and do real estate sales all in one place. Highly recommended.

This property management group has always been pleasant and helpful. I remember when I first signed on with them. They shuffled the cleaning date so that I could move in 3 days earlier! Saved me over $200 on hotel fees. Thought that was really kind of them.

CMA has been an awesome property management firm for our rental. Julie Miles is the absolute best rental manager we've ever enjoyed. Highly recommended!

THEY WILL TAKE ALL OF YOUR DEPOSIT AND MORE! If you are thinking of renting with CMA don't. They expect you to pay for things that don't need repaired or replaced. Quality of service is nonexistent with CMA but you can expect to be treated unfairly and with disrespect. Unless you plan to leave the home in new/unlived in/far better condition than before you moved in, expect to be forced to pay to do so after you move out because same condition as when you moved in is not good enough for them.

They will charge you to pay for anything that you touch in the home even if it's professionally cleaned by their approved vendors which you must use or they will charge you to have it cleaned again which is stated in their 11 page move out list. They will accuse you of items being damaged that you know had absolutely no damage so take plenty of photos and document everything because you'll need it.

They will try to make you pay for things that you the tenant should not have to pay for. CMA is not a good company to rent from in any capacity. If you are renting from a separate landlord and they decide to move your lease to CMA, move out immediately and don't sign anything with CMA. If this happens be careful because CMA will try to make you sign their agreements and threaten you in every way possible even if you don't sign.

You can expect to have them raise your rent at the highest market value possible. I'm absolutely for taking care of the home you live in and respecting a rental property which includes fixing and maintaining when needed but the extent CMA will take it to will leave you angry and feeling violated. All I can say is RUN!

My landlord deserves a 5 star. Marjorie from Mayer-Spring Valley. We used this place the second time we rented our lovely place from Marjorie. I only give them 4 stars because even if you have rented from them prior with perfect on time payments and zero complaints and nothing but a lovely relationship with the actual owner of the property, they will not keep you in mind for any opening properties you are looking for and applications are only good for 30 days?! Kinda scammy and awful customer service. You would think they would want to keep perfect tenants within their properties. Oh well.

We've lived in two separate apartments and worked with two different agents with the CMA. Both Julie and Christopher are kind and helpful. When maintenance is needed, we get help with it fairly quickly. The maintenance man who worked on our door the other day, Charles, is also super awesome and friendly! If you are trying to get an apartment with them, I'd suggest first turning in the application papers and get approved before picking a rental to apply for as renting a place is super competitive here. It took a while for me and my husband to get an apartment because rental waiting lists fill up so quickly.

Very efficient process for rentals available, approval, and lease agreement process. Very professional. Like other reviews show, not best support or time response if any repairs needed. Be prepared to wait a long time or repair yourself and suck it up. Make sure you rent a really good place, check it out and kick the tires before you sign.if a good place, then you will be ok.

I want to thank all of the staff at CMA I never realized how difficult it was to rent a home, Kevin, Julie, Christy, Teri and Diane are wonderful and professional. If you want to be treated like family and have your needs heard go to CMA.

Stay far away from this place they are sue happy! The old woman that owns it is horrible! She has NO heart! If your late or in my case they say they never got my rent when I put it in their drop box! So instead of sending me a notice telling me they supposedly never got my rent payment, They take me to court and try and sue me also trying to make ME pay their lawyer fees. I'm a single mom with 3 kids! Like I can afford that! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY! They have the worst reputation in town you'll be sorry!

We did a three month rental through CMA. We moved to Prescott from Los Angeles. We did the whole rental remotely from LA and it was very efficient. Very happy with the house we rented. One or two minor issues upon move-in, they were looked after within 24 hours. Very friendly and efficient staff. We dealt with Terri Cedarstrom, she is great. Highly recommend this firm for your RE requirements.

If you are looking to move your family 2100 miles one way, sell your home and relocate your wife and 2 minor children to give 2 years of your life committed souly to Leilani ( the owner) and repair whatever needs to be done at the beckoning command, then this would be a great job for you as well as a rental agency. BUT I did rent from them as well as packed up my family and moved there (children at the time were 7 yrs.and 10 years old ) as I said committed my life souly to this company (over and above ) I worked for Loni souly unloke others who work for more than one property management company.

I mowed 3 feet tall brush down when Loni bought her new home among several other things for gratis as to show appreciation for the job.well in one day I was fired and evicted for non payment of rent of course of which was to be paid to me by the very same people whom are evicting me ( how convenient) I can say that this company is truly not in the best interest of the owners money ( they fix to the highest dollar not what can be done economically for the homeowner) And as to the tenants hopefully you never have to deal with the owner on this level, because she finds satisfaction in screwing people and families over and the bad part is she's one of those very polite mean people ( if you know what I mean.? ) oh the reason I had to scramble and sell all we owned to make it back to Michigan is because the owner fired me rather than use the courts to keep a very malicious person out of her head space and him from harassing my brother-in-law who worked there at CMA ( one of the broker's ) a very easy solution as we had a restraining order on this person as did 5-8 other people in the area from doctors to postal workers, this is merely a warning to anyone who plan's to work, rent, or have them manage your property. GOOD LUCK.

I moved in the house on March 15th, the staff was real nice, but there are some things that needed to be fixed, well some where, except the front door walkway, I busted my knee, because of it on Tuesday last week, no replies from anyone, I will be losing some money, because I can't go to work, thanks for nothing, I just hope that the homeowner insurance will step in, if not, , we will see Don't get me wrong, I like the house.have no problem with the rent, but, .

Just rented a house through CMA. We are VERY happy with the service we received. I have rented from many places over the years. This is the first one that I've written a review for. I highly recommend these guys. Just completed my rental with CMA, again, these guys are awesome.

DON'T ever even think of renting from this company! Just got off the phone after wanting to set up an appointment to see a rental home. The person said that we would need to fill out a form. OK, but it would cost us 70.00 for my wife and I to see the house. And it was NOT a million dollar house. The man said it was to make sure that we are interested in renting the house.

He did not even bother to ask where we were living now, if he had he would have found out that we would have made the 4 hour round trip from the valley, purchasing gasoline, 4 meals, and a night in a motel in Prescott. About $250.00. Do you think we are just a couple of retired looki-loos?

So glad I am no longer dealing with this company. I have never paid so many people to fix nothing ever in my life. I am not young! The tenant complained about sewer smells. Turned out dirty diapers smelled up the house. Go figure! My house is for sale. Looking for a good deal in Prescott Valley. I have one. P. S. The smells are gone. My realtor had an awesome machine that destroyed them.

This place is awful. I would not recommend them to anyone. They are disorganized and unprofessional. If you want them to fix anything they sit there and accuse you. They keep all of your deposit. If you do choose to use them document everything. Keep all documentation of your rent being paid because months later they try to shake you down for more. Complete and utter disaster.

Don't rent from this place. It's absolutely horrible. They will argue they are within their rights but if you contact any city inspector they are far from it. We have been here 4 years now. We have paid our rent on time except for a few times during a medical crisis. We still paid all the late fees. Our rent started off at 500, ladies and gentlemen we are at 700 a month for a 600 sqft apartment.

This place has been falling apart since we moved in. The drive way washed out which is causing damage to not only my car but another units as well. No they won't fix it, they only say "you're not supposed to park in the ditch". This is literally the worst driveway ever there is no where else to park. Oh and forget getting anything fixed. It takes them.months to get off their butts and do something.

It got to the piont where our door was falling so due to safety we took it off the hinges before it completely fell on one of us. After 6 months they fixed it, best part it's still not painted! The carpet is horrible and I have upkept them to the best of my ability using stanely steamer constantly. It's funny another unit that's bigger and has a bigger yard pays less than what we do.

They have tile and a bigger yard, brand new appliances. Now for those of you disabled, if you have a legit working Dog. Get ready for war. My dog and I are constantly harassed by this company over the stupidest of things. For example our lease states "we are responsible for cleaning up after our animals " I get several eviction warnings and ordered to pick up Dog poop daily.

In her own Prescions words our property manager writes "due to the heat wave Dog poop needs to be done on a daily basis ". So I'm going outside in 110 because she said so? I pick up my yard once a week. She claims it's a public health issue. Wrong the law states it only becomes a public health concerns if people are running around in my yard. If kids are playing in my yard.

My yard is fenced so no one should be going in and out. Next one we have black widows they are in charge of pesticides did they do their job?! Absolutely not their are 5 big nests weaved outside my unit. Our walls are cracking, there are holes where the front door was damaging the beams. They replaced it and guess what the front door is not painted.

The area is not even cleaned up. The bathtub doesn't drain for crap. Complained about this year's ago and they argued it's not their problem. Per housing law it is. Do not rent from this company. They are horrible. Know your rights. Call your city inspector. Heck this company isn't even with the Better Business Bureau! ASkyline anyone who worked or rented for them. Horrible horrible agency.

Horrible horrible company. Nothing but harassment and constant letters of eviction threats for the dumbest things. Likeb3 pieces of dog poop in my yard. I have two service dogs amd several dosabilities. This is ridiculous. I clean it up once a week but thats not good enough for charyl dawn. Do not rent from this company. We have been here 5 fucking years and it's only gotten worse.

This company needs to be shut down. No respect. They don't care who you are. They are money grabbing pigs. Go somewhere else. Bear real-estate is ten times better. We made the mistake of renting from cma and we are paying for it daily in threats, harassment. I'll be contacting the ADA pertaining to their constant threats against my legitimate service animals. Again. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.

If I could give negative stars, I would give a full -5 star review. We began our lease in February of this year. A week after moving into the property the water heater had a leak so severe they had to replace the entire thing. When I noticed that we had NO hot water because of the leak I informed their emergency line. CMA (LONI) proceeded to inform me that it WAS NOT an emergency and that I has to wait an entire 24 hours before some one could even come out to take a look a the water heater.

I am sorry but last time I checked, especially during winter HOT water was a basic human necessity. I was not able to wash anything, shower, ANYTHING that involved hot water. My five year old, and two year old, myself and my husband were forced to be in our own filth for a day because they wouldn't even offer to compensate for alternative living accommodations.

The second issue we had was the side gate that had broken off the wall due to poor maintenance and the screws broke off. Trying to keep the side gate rigged so our decent sized dogs wouldn't get out, they still got out because the handy man did not fix the gate when he was supposed to. Today I again called their emergency line while out of town on a weekend trip with my family to de stress because of high risk pregnancy complications I spent over 6 hours calling back and forth between their emergency line, the plumber dispatch and CMA to make sure people were doing their job and to find out what was going on because no one was calling me back and no one had any proper, educated answer to give me about the water flood from the pipes in our front by the street that caused the water needing to be shut off. Note- That I was unaware until I called Sunday that the water had been shut off by the city after reporting the leak to them on Thursday.

The woman Loni then proceeded to tell me "That if I would have let her know sooner that the problem could've been taken care but now I need to wait until Monday" I told her that it now being after 7pm, if you cannot get the issue fixed that I need to get a hotel for myself, and my family for the night because we need hot water and I don't feel that I am obligated to pay since it was their lack of professional diligence that caused the delay.

She told me " CMA will only cover a certain amount of hotel reimbursement, anything else is my responsibility because I failed to notify CMA of the problem sooner" WHAT THE FREAKING, FREAK?!?! This company has NO sort of professional responsibility to its customers (tenants) and will pretty much do anything they can to twist a situation around to imply their innocence and your fault.

This company is horrible, the staff Loni is a rude, and offensive woman with no sort of common courtesy for the tenants and short of telling you to pretty much F** off she has no problem not acknowledging any FULL obligation to making the situation right! Now I am currently under severe stress due to the matter, and feeling horrible because of my health issues, and no one even had to common courtesy to say " I am so sorry" I will never ever recommend or rent from this god awful company again. Worst ever!

C Marshall has managed a 4-unit property of mine for many years. They are very professional and dependable, and are quick to respond to any issues that come up with the tenants. They have a reliable team of contractors to handle any repair issues. I have always been very satisfied with their work and highly recommend them.

C Marshall and Associates (CMA Realty) is a company serving the Prescott area with severely questionable business ethics. Their properties are generally homes or apartments at the bottom of the barrel, unable to be sold likely from real conditional or other aesthetic problems. My previous experience with CMA included renting a home with a severe mice infestation and a septic tank with a pump never connected to an energy source (makes for a disgusting problem). They're not responsive to their tenants, either, and must always "contact the owner" before anything can be done/fixed, delaying actually fixing the issue and disregarding the tenant/landlord relationship. Also, their office seems incredibly disorganized (taking 3-4 weeks to cash your rent check) -- which is not a very good sign coming from a company that has a lot of Social Security numbers floating around.

This place is bad news, and even if the home/apt looks like a good deal, you'll eventually pay for it in the end either by making repairs yourself throughout your stay, or by CMA never returning your security deposit even if you leave the property better than you found it. Stay away -- thankfully I got out when I could!
