C R Property Management

I'd put zero stars if I could and HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND APPLYING TO THIS COMPANY.we applied for a home and went through the process including our new job offers they asked us for along with over 5 years rental history which we have 16 years in one spot on time and we pay our current bills on time. This company does NOT look into your rental history or call your previous landlord or check your income!

They looked at our credit of having only 15 late payments because we had a hiccup with payments when our son battled cancer, so excuse us on our 15 late payments! Because 16 years of great rental history doesn't cut it! Also a current debt of over $400 that has monthly payments setup! But what was that? We don't make payments? Can't even take a chance on our rental history or income. Owner got burnt on renters, but we're not like every renter considering our 16 years rent history! No brainer!

The short version: Our experience was AWFUL. Had to spend over $500 on a lawyer to get my deposit back because THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THEIR OWN CONTRACTS. The long version of our experience with: CR Property Management 384 SW Upper Terrace Suite 203 (Used to be: 145 NE Revere Ave #4) Bend, OR 97701 We had to move out 3 months before the end of our 1 year lease, because my elderly mother in-law could no longer be left at the house unattended.

We were prepared to help the property management company get the property re-rented, and according to the lease agreement that we signed, we were prepared to pay for any days of lost rent, as well as any expenses the landlord or property management company incurred as a result of having to re-rent the property. (Which ended up being $600 in lost rent, plus another $300 for utilities for the 10 days it was empty and the property management company's fee to market the property).

As many people struggling to find a place to live in Bend are aware - it is a Landlord's market right now. Rents are up and places are staying on the market for mere days. If the property management company had even attempted to do their job I'm sure it wouldn't have even sat empty the 10 days it did (who posts a $2k+/month house for rent with NO PICTURES?). Regardless, the point is, they were able to re-rent the property for $100 MORE PER MONTH than they had rented it to us. So. if the landlord was getting more rent, and as per our lease agreement, we were going to cover all of their expenses as a result of our moving out. one might wonder why they attempted to charge us a $3,000 lease break fee?

My guess: GREED, and the belief that most tenants don't understand the law, or their rights, and so they thought that they could get away with it. And probably with many tenants they would have. because while still out our $3,000 deposit, we then had to go spend $500 on a lawyer to enforce our rights. Luckily we had the means to do so, and so were able to recover the portion of our deposit that we were legally entitled to. MINUS the $500 we had to spend on a lawyer to get them to follow their own contracts. RUN, DON'T WALK, AWAY!

You will thank yourself later! There are plenty of good landlords and property management companies to choose from in this town, don't get stuck with the worst kind. 1280 views on this Google review. Good work pays.

As my landlord, they are very responsive to our requests. When there is a need, they send out contractors who are always professional, experienced, timely and friendly. As a renter, I couldn't ask for anything more in a property manager. It's a lovely home we rent and CR Property takes good care of the house and me. Feel free to contact me for any referrals.

CR Property Management is professional and delivers above expectations from an owners perspective. They work hard and follow through on the details. Highly recommend using them. There are some other property management companies in Bend with lots of high ratings but I think CR Property Management is the best in town.

I have worked with Ramonas company for 13 years now and I have always had the very best service. She has ALWAYS been honest and ethical in her business practices. 13 years and I only have very good things to say about CR Property Management. Not one issue!

I own my own business and I have worked with Ramona for over 3 years. She has always paid on time, honest and tries to get to the maintenance done in a timely manner.

Ramona is the worst, unsympathetic, two faced, out for personal gain person. Never rent from these people! Im only giving them 1 star because thats the lowest it goes.

This is a great family, run business. My family rented from them for half a decade. They were always very professional but yet compassionate and understanding.
