I've been in my current place for almost a year and everything has been perfect. Easy to get a hold of management and maintenance. The property is well taken care of. My neighbors are amazing. Good communication from the management as well.

Current renter from CFM and I have yet to experience any problems. My favorite thing is the online portal - quick headache free way to submit rent payments or maintenance requests. The location of my place is great, any and all maintenance requests are promptly addressed, and the property/landscaping is kept up nicely. I've always gotten a quick response from the maintenance guy- faster than any other place I've rented.

He even showed up the day after Christmas at 8am when I locked myself out of my apartment (I work nights). Thanks Jerry! I would agree that they are strict in their application process which is something I can appreciate as a responsible tenant. I've never had a problem with any of my neighbors (property with duplex apartments). I'm about to renew my lease and I couldn't be more stoked. Will update if anything changes*

Most pathetic costumer service I've ever received in my life. Don't expect Dolores (the manager) to answer her phone or return voicemails. Expect to call Capital First during business hours and be unanswered. **Take notice that I'm not the only review that couldn't get ahold of Dolores or anyone else.** I had a Capital First employee show up to my door with potential future renters expecting a tour with no heads up. Additionally, lawn maintenance/ ground keepers will show up unexpectedly.

Finally the internet service was kept in the property owners name and I would make my payment to Capital First. However, there was a point when I went for days without internet. The property we were in was nice but that has little to do with the management company. If you have the option of taking your business elsewhere, it would be wise of you to do so.

I love the location of my property, but Capital First is horrible with communication. They take at least a week and a half to get back to you if they even reply at all. Everything else is fine but they never communicate anything to you which is why the score is so low. They don't even have the correct business address listed on their website. I dropped by their office and it was up for sale and no one was there. It would have been nice to know that they were moving. Properties are fine, Capital First is not.

The reviews speak for themselves, figured we would still give them a chance, ridiculous expectations of $11,000 a month required wages for a house that rents at $1,175. Wasted weeks of our time. Deal with ANY other property management company and you'll have a better experience.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this management company! I have had horrible luck with others but have found thatJennifer goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for her clients! She is honest, reliable, trustworthy, dependable and giving! She doesn't put up with any BS so if you are an honest and reliable renter OR home owner you are in GREAT GREAT HANDS! If not then she will call you on it and I truly appreciate the honesty and integrity provided by CFM! Keep up all the great work you do!

Dealing with this property management company has been an enormous headache. Despite the large amount of bad reviews on here already, a few friends and I decided we would take a dive on one of their properties. Thankfully, we didn't make it past the application stage. During the time they were showing the house, the property manager made comments talking down to current residents of other their other properties, and made snarky/racist remarks towards a family that was coming to look at the house after us.

Despite ALL of this taking place, we decided we would still try to push for this house, because, as a group of people in their twenties, this house was perfect for us. We figured we wouldn't have to deal with this landlord too often after the lease was signed. After applying we were strung along for quite some time waiting to be approved. We were notified that we were not approved due to two of the individuals in our group not making 2x the rent. However, these two individuals' incomes are BARELY less than the 2x request that CPM has in place, and the combined income of the househould would have been nearly 10x the amount of rent. Thankfully, the company was nice enough to refund our $40 application fees (is this not insanely expensive?), but even getting the refund processed was an entirely different headache. Overall, I am actually relieved that we did not get this house, because I would have probably gone insane if I had to deal with these people ever again.

I live in one of their apartment homes. When I have sent in a maintenance request I was contacted later that same day by someone telling me what was going to happen. The one poor thing I would say is that their maintenance guy I feel as though has no idea what he is doing. Also their apartments tend to stay hotter then others in the summer. However they have nice tubs and appliances. So far they are one of the better property management companies that I have dealt with.

People that work at this agency do not communicate well with each other: you get different information from each person and at the end it turns out that the information you got earlier was completely wrong. So you are pretty much screwed no matter what you do. Their business etiquette is very poor: they don't return calls, e-mails, don't show up for the scheduled inspection, they don't provide necessary information in time.

It is really hard to reach them and talk directly: every time you call they are busy or out of the office or there is an emergency! And even if you get there, they are closed or just hide in their office. If you happen to deal with this agency keep an eye on all your deposits becuase at the end they will miscalculate your refund! Make sure you have plenty of patience if you decide to choose capital first. Remember all decisions are made by Dolores and do not rely too much on the info you get from Cindy and Jodi!

The girls answering the phone have no idea what they're talking about, so don't expect to get any true answers unless you speak to a Manager. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone looking to rent a place. Worst Customer Service ever!!!!
