With our many years in the commercial real estate industry, we have seen a lot. In 1997, Capitol Equities was launched to create a team unlike other real estate agencies.
With over twenty three of real estate experience, J.R. is a relationship builder providing long-term representation and consulting services to many prominent organizations. Stepping into the role of President in 2022, JR oversees all divisions of Capitol Equities, from sales and leasing to management services.
For twenty years, we have been transforming commercial real estate. Literally. Redesigning burned out factories into award winning offices, filling long vacant rooms with fast growing businesses and turning portfolio financials from red to black has become our reputation. How do we do it? By actually caring about our clients' individual needs.

Finally getting around to this: 2 years with this company and everything with them is bad. They are not accountable. They do the bare minimum, the vendors they choose to maintain our property are unreliable and bad at their job. They refuse to do what they were hired for and then say it was "the vendor's fault and not in the budget, Maybe next year!"

If you're thinking of buying a condo owned by these folks, don't. We pay $400 a month in HOA fees and all we have are unsolved problems. * Almost every night we have to call the police to remove transient people who sleep in our lobby. These folks smoke cigarettes, pee on the floor, and leave their trash everywhere. Despite many complaints from residents, Capitol Equities does nothing except encourage us to continue calling the police.

Why not put a lock on the lobby door instead? * The roof of our building was leaking in four different places outside our condo door. We were getting rained on inside our residence. I had to complain regularly for two months before they finally fixed it. Well, mostly - it is still leaking but at least it isn't as bad. * The gates to our parking lot consistently don't close.

This leads to car break-ins, which are a very regular occurrence here. Additionally, we recently had someone park in our parking spot and despite multiple calls to the "after hours" number, we had to eventually pay to park somewhere else because no one would respond to us and we don't know the number to have illegally parked cars towed. This property management company is not very good at managing property. I highly encourage you to consider living somewhere else.

The people at Capitol Equities are a joy to work with. The maintenance crew is quick to act whenever we have an issue on the property -- they are friendly and will routinely stop in and ask if we're having any problems. The management is approachable and easy to work with. We are being spoiled here!
