I contacted them about renting a therapy office at one of the office complexes they represent. The agent asked me if I was doing therapy as in family therapy? When I said yes, he said are any of your clients addicts? I said of course I have some clients that have had addictions problems. He responded it is a building with "traditional" clients like CPA's and we can't rent to anyone that works with addicts.
I was floored, I'm pretty sure that's not even legal. I asked if he asked the CPA firm if any of the clients they do taxes for have had previous issues with addiction, and of course he said no? I would not rent from any firm that stigmatizes addiction and mental health and neither should you.

We have been leasing from CIP in Charlotte, NC for the past 5+ years and have had a very positive experience. The first thing they did when they began managing the office park was to improve the appearance of the property. They also provided a security guard which was very helpful to me since I tend to work late some evenings. He or she will come by and make sure I get in my car safely.
The office staff is always helpful and friendly assisting with any concerns we may have. We have been in the same office park for over 20 years and CIP has been the best property management company by far. Would highly recommend them! We also appreciate that when services are needed CIP will give their business to companies that lease from them. That is a win, win!
