Great community and good people. I stayed at Safe Harbor Village and it was a great experience. My wife and I sadly had to move on to a bigger place. The only thing you have to look out for is mold but they keep it under control pretty good.

Pay your rent on time & you'll have no trouble however if you're renting a garage they will fix the issue very quickly the only issue I had was other renters using spaces in front of garage doors fixing there cars on jack stands which made it impossible to get into my garage. I recorded a video of the situation and the problem was solved

I apologize that they represent Lancaster City they are a bad representation of keeping the integrity of the old Lancaster alive. They have properties in the historical row of the city and they don't bother keeping the property in its original state just to save money. Instead of putting a column they put a 4x4 instead & the railing is just a couple of 2x4's it's such a shame to see this in Mussertown.

They are by the worse they tell ya what you want to here they paint over mold send unprofessional people to look at your house weeks after you call with no notice we kept pictures so if you think I'm lying fb me and I'll show you we had to leave because they refused to get rid of the mold and I have four children don't recommend them at all

Horrible customer service by the only person in the rental office. The credit scoring is completely off, even when given proof their information is incorrect. She refused to be helpful or review any information. The maintenance man was rude and I was only filling out an application, so god forbid I actually was renting a place and had to deal with him. The overall experience was poor, the workers are rude and they were negligent at their jobs. This experience was enough to turn me off from ever renting from them.

This is far from the best leasing agency, but certainly isn't the worst. I lived year for a year from early 2016 - early 2017. We had an efficiency apartment for what we thought was a really good price initially. This was also my first apartment, so I can say it could have been so much worse. The neighbors on the first floor were always so nice and friendly.

The walls were paper thin so I have heard some super personal conversations from my neighbors. For a while we had an issue of someone smoking marijuana, but eventually that stopped. There were security cameras throughout the building, but I feel they probably weren't ever watched. Some tenants would sneak their guests' cars in the garage when it was an additional cost and limited spaces for tenants. Memos were sent to ALL tenants after someone complained.

That is good for re-stating rules, but couldn't you watch the camera to see who let them in? I had made complaints to the office and it honestly felt that instead of thanking me for my concerns being brought to their attention at the very least, it felt like they were blaming me. The lease does not clearly mention that the emergency maintenance phone number is their office line after business hours.

This is something that should be clearly stated and it wasn't in ours. We got some loud-footed neighbors move in above us. I knocked and asked them politely to quiet down as it was 11 at night, I worked third-shift for the first time the night before and had trouble trying to sleep that whole day. They apologized, but it continued. So I told the rental office and they told me no one lived up there.

This then caused an issue between us as I was now under the impression that they were breaking-in. Location was really good for city. Price was pretty high for something so outdated. The place went down-hill closer as we were leaving. People began throwing parties all weekend having guests run up and down the halls. I would wake up to find beer cans in plants and trash in the elevator.

Too Long Didn't Read: Pros - Good location, okay security, off-street parking/garage parking available Cons - Poorly mannered neighbors, uncaring leasing office, paper thin walls that make you feel you have no privacy, over-priced as per appliances/square footage/etc.
