Cornerstone has professionally helped us prepare all aspects of the house to be ready for rent, as prior to this we had no experience with property management entities. The viewing, application and leasing process for renters have been very well done as well and the house owner's portal being simple yet efficient makes things easier for all parties. The only thing in my humble opinion that could be improved is communication.

Cornerstone property management team is experienced and friendly. I am a remote homeowner and have been using the firm to manage my rental property in Bay Area for the last 7 years. This is our 2nd year renting with Cornerstone properties. The service calls can take a while but I really believe it has more to do with COVID & the vendors/service companies than with the Mgmt company (supply chain issues, lack of qualified repairmen, ect). The Property managers are quick to respond & the online portal makes paying rent a breeze.

We leased a house from Cornerstone 17 years ago for 5 years and it was so great that when we were in the market again the first place we went was Cornerstone. We're now in our 5th year with this house and are grateful for the excellent service and communication, they are fast to resolve any issues or questions. I'll never use another company!

I'm a new renter with Cornerstone. Tanya and her team are knowledgable and responsive. Upon moving into our new home, we required a few little tasks that need to be completed. Within a few days, most items were completed. Our experience has been great with Cornerstone!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value We have been at our rental almost 2 years now. They stopped gardening, never replaced fence that fell down, theres been a leak in the roof the last 2 months and no service request has been answered. This management company is terrible. Homeowners i would be aware that they collect the rent but dont take care of your property

I have been using Cornerstone to manage my rental property for about 2 years now, so they have been able to quickly rent out the property, are quick to respond to issues, and provide easy reports for year end taxes. Great service, no complaints!

I have been with the cornerstone for a little over a year now as a renter so it's finally time to review their services. So, far it has been great whenever I have an issue it's very easy to contact them, and usually, it has been solved in a week. I don't have anything negative to say about them because they reach out after every service request to make sure it's been completely solved. I would recommend them and would not think about going to a different company.

The high Google review score is contributed by the homeowners, maybe even their staff, not the renters. If you are a prospective renter, please move to Yelp and learn what you will be dealing with. As a renter with experience with 9 property management companies, I can responsibly tell you that Cornerstone is the worst. Be prepared for slow/no responses to your questions and maintenance requests. Also, be prepared for being taken out $1000+ from your deposit even if you move out with a place cleaner than you moved in and no major damage.

During my 1yr4mth stay at their property, I need to constantly follow up on my questions to get their reply. If you don't follow up, they may never reply. Read your contract carefully since there might be rules you have never seen before but can cost you hundreds of bucks from your deposit. For example, there is a term saying that "Any painting, which is required when tenant vacates, will be prorated as to a three year useful life.".

It means that if you live for 1yr (12 months), you need to pay 24 of 36 months remaining life of the painting (even if you left the painting as it was when you moved in), which is $560 in my case. In other words, the shorter you live, the more you pay. And the more you pay, the happier the homeowners are.

Brad and team manage my rental property since the beginning of 2021. Helped with arranging the cleaning to getting a tenant. Took a little longer than expected (about ~2 month) probably due to covid but the process was smooth and no management fee until a tenant moves in. Very responsive and if you have any questions they will take the time to explain it in detail. It's a relief to have someone help manage the day to day work of a rental property.
