Residents are required to carry Renter’s Insurance as a condition of their lease agreement. A mandatory Renter’s Insurance program ensures that that your property is better protected. In the event of an accident or incident you will have the opportunity to recover losses from the renter’s insurance company. This requirement adds a valuable layer of risk protection for you and your property. Mandatory Renter’s Insurance reduces claims and losses for property owners and often leads to lower insurance costs. Some carriers offer substantial discounts on premiums when a mandatory program is implemented.

Online Resident Screening

Online Resident Screening allows for an efficient and streamlined resident screening process. Prospective residents are able to complete and submit rental applications through our website 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Using Online Resident Screening allows our staff to receive, screen and approve applicants in a fraction of the time it takes to manually process paper applications; resulting in shorter vacancy periods and ultimately a greater return on your real estate investment.

Access and download monthly reports from any computer with an internet connection. Receive your statements by email each month and eliminate visits to the bank to deposit your rent checks by taking advantage of secure ACH deposits to your bank account.

Eviction Protection Program

Evictions can happen to any rental property owner no matter how well a resident is screened. Unexpected circumstances can arise in residents’ lives resulting in an inability to pay the rent. When a resident is unable to pay the rent they also find it difficult to move, requiring a property owner undergo a costly eviction procedure. At Countryside Property Management, we protect you from the high costs of an eviction. For a small monthly fee of $10 per unit, our Eviction Protection Program will cover up to $650.00 per eviction in the aggregate for all eviction related fees and legal costs. Eviction costs not covered by the program include any costs or fees resulting from a jury trial or in the event a resident makes a counterclaim against a property owner.

Jason brings extensive experience in property management, including business operations, rental market analysis, leasing, tenant retention and property maintenance. His energetic pace and enthusiasm shine through in all he does. Jason puts a positive spirit and energy into his career and works hard to help others achieve their real estate management and rental housing goals.

Prior to starting Countryside Property Management, Jason was a Senior Property Manager for one of the largest property management companies in the central valley. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business/Financial Services and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from California State University, Chico. Jason holds a California Real Estate Broker’s license and is a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), California Association of Realtors (CAR) and National Association of Realtors (NAR).
