Their apartment listings advertise as being "pet friendly", and even apartment.com listings show that they specifically put "declaw not required" under all of their listings. However when you call to ask, they will confirm that they require declaw of cats. That is not "pet friendly" at all, and is frankly torture. Shame on this place for not only requiring a practice that is seen by vets as animal abuse, but lying about it on rental listings.

I have worked with the Curry Real Estate team as a business partner for several years. They are top-notch professionals. They are responsive, professional and honest. I would recommend anyone to work with Curry Real Estate Services or live in their communities. They truly care about the product that they offer, their residents and their employees and that really shows in their business interactions. It is no mystery why they have been a Kansas City staple for so many years.

Not only do the staff at Curry work really hard for their customers and clients, they go above and beyond for their community. I wanted to take a quick moment to comment on my experience thus far about living in the Courtyard Apartments community on 76th street in Overland Park. I am now approaching my third year living in this complex and could not be more satisfied with my decision to move in here. Prior to moving in, I frequently moved from rental property to rental property as I was never satisfied with the community or property managers.

Here at Courtyard Apartments, I feel like a valued member of the community rather than "just another tenant". Cathleen Turner is perhaps the most kind and helpful landlord I have ever met and worked with before in my life - any issue that I bring to her attention (no matter how minor), Cathleen is highly responsive and will have the problem fixed before close of business that day.

Not only is the management team impeccable, but the units themselves are gorgeous. My neighbor and I call these apartments "Overland Park's hidden jewel" because of the cleanliness and modern appearance these 2-bedroom units have for the price. I am so grateful to have found this wonderful community with such incredible management that is Curry Real Estate. I have absolutely no plans on leaving here anytime soon and highly recommend Courtyard Apartments as a place to live!

Fond Memories Engraving has been doing business with Curry Real Estate for at least 15 years. We have always had a great experience with the employees we have worked with.

Rude and condescending. They will harass you and try to get you to pay for things you don't owe them. Nothing ever got fixed and in the process they would leave our apartment a complete mess. I even had a maintenance man enter my apartment after I repeatedly told him I was coming to the door. This was literally the worst real estate company I have ever rented from. Still having issues with them 3 months after I moved out.

We've had the pleasure of working with Curry Real Estate Services for more than five years and witness firsthand their consistently classy approach to serving their employees, tenants, owners and community. Professional and gracious to tenants, creative and invested with owners, committed in a hands-on way to community non-profits and service organizations, they are thoughtful in every way and make our work with them a joy.

Excellent business partner. Our experience with every person we have worked with at Curry is responsive, timely and honest. There is a reason they have been in business as long and as successful as they have and we love working with them.

Curry Real Estate has been awful to deal with. I rented a "townhome" from them, a steady home until my family outgrew the area. The property manager they have for the particular "townhome" in Parkville, MO, I rented, is very rude and unprofessional, and even claims to not have my pre-walkthrough paper, which is needed to prove the condition of the "townhome" before my family moved in.

The list goes on. They have not returned any of my phone messages or emails that have been sent regarding the issues with the property manager and the fact that they want me to pay extra money on top of my deposit for "damages", which I am disputing along with demanding a full refunded deposit back.

This review is in regards to an employee of Curry Real Estate Services that manages three of their apartment complexes. I went in to fill out an application and put down my security deposit for a studio apartment at Briarcliff Pointe and literally was walking out of the office shaking within 2 minutes as she spouted rude remarks to me. Nena Burgard is sincerely the rudest person of management I have dealt with in my entire adult life.

I very strongly urge everyone to seek out a place of residence ran by different management. She manages Cherry Street Studios, Briarcliff Pointe Studios, and Pinewood Studios.

I moved in in July of 2014 and am still here to this day (December 2015). This is my first apartment and I live alone with a cat on a top floor. Every family member and friend I've brought over have complimented all sorts of things about my apartment, ranging from the sleek black countertops, to the quietness of the complex, to the cleanliness of the grounds and the pool. Brock the manager has been very kind and helpful to me since Curry took over last fall, especially with this being my first apartment.

He and Tom (maintenance) respond within 24 hours of every request I ask of them, and they are very nice about reminding us of yearly maintenance repairs. The only thing I don't love is the pet rent. I think it should be cheaper or not a thing at all for me, a cat owner, who makes no noise and produces no waste on the grounds, in comparison to a golden retriever pet owner who may forget to pick up after the dog once in a while, or who lets it run back and forth above someone all night long. All in all, I plan to stay in CVA until I get married and buy a house, have kids, etc. I feel safe, listened to, and like I am treated fairly.
