The apartment search has always been a stress inducing event especially heading into the summer months, however Mars and the Four Star Reality team have made it a pleasant process. With quick response time, support, and flexibility it has been some of the best applicant treatment I've received and makes me excited to live at one of their properties. If new to Denver, Boulder or Ft. Collins I would highly recommend this leasing office and Mars!

Don't do it! I currently live at a four star property and have for the last 2 years. It has been one thing after another. Any maintenance request takes forever to be taken care of. Pipes froze a year ago and it took almost 4 days for someone to come out and help. Emails go unanswered and I consistently have to call the office to get anything done.

I just put in my move out notice for my lease that ends at the end of July and I just saw my place listed on Zillow for a May move in! This company is ridiculous and I'm sure after reading all the other reviews that I won't see a penny back from my security deposit. Slum lords.

My experience with Four Star has been pretty good overall, but I'd really like to give a huge shout out to Mars Tweed for his stellar help. I moved into an apartment with this company last year and when the particular unit I actually wanted became available, Mars put in a ton of work to make sure I was able to seamlessly change my lease over. I am really grateful to him. Thanks Mars!

Wish I could give 0 stars, this management is absolutely horrible. During my residency I came into a dirty and over-priced apartment. The fire alarm broke while I was living there and maintenance never came. Once I moved out of my apartment in July of 2021 and they tried to say that I owed them $1,100 in damages and fees. When I asked for proof of damage, they suddenly changed their tone and said that they'd give me $200 of my $900 deposit back instead. Unacceptable considering I cleaned the apartment better than when I had moved in AND had caused no damage to the property.

After MONTHS of negotiating I finally got the amount to $500 - however, they kept saying that the check got "lost in the mail". TWICE. They also stopped answering my calls when I asked to know where the check was. NINE MONTHS LATER, my co-signer had to go to the office IN PERSON for them to write a check in 30 seconds. They still withheld around $300 of my deposit for "rekeying" and "cleaning" - such a scam. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!

I have had nothing but good experiences with living at Four Star and with the management team. I recently resigned for the next year and Drake was extremely helpful! He advocated for me, got things done quickly and kept in consistent communication. Very happy with Four Star overall.

Honestly the name four star is way too high. It should be two stars well honestly half a star. I've been in my studio for 6 months already. When I first moved in the studio it had problems. I was like it's cool as long as it gets fixed in a TIMELY MANNER. Six months later my bathroom door still doesn't close . When I first moved in the studio was DIRTY and GROSS it took my a few hours to get it cleaned up. Also, when I first received my studio they didn't even give me the right key.

I didn't receive my keys until almost night time even though I arrived at mid-day. These "property managers" are a joke. They have worst communication than a 3rd grader and I am honestly insulting the 3rd grader at this point. The maintenance guy is always too busy to work on my studio but has time to work on other peoples cars while on the clock.

My next door neighbor would suffer from his heater not work properly and he got a lawyer to end his lease early. The MAINTENANCE guy knows the drier in the unit doesn't work and one doesn't put a sign up saying something and two doesn't fix it or call someone to fix it . Honestly do yourself a favor and DO NOT RENT WITH 4 STAR if you're hispanic they will IGNORE you.

I have never left a review in my life prior to this. I find a cute apartment and I applied as it was a good deal. I applied, they approved me and generated the lease. I go to tour and they do not have a master key. They are unable to get the door open, and I never see it. How do you not have the key prior to a tour? I finally decide the apartment is worth signing and I call to get a new lease generated and they tell me the rent was wrong, and $300 more than advertised.

These people are incredibly incompetent and I feel as if I dodged the largest bullet that would be them managing the property I live in over the next 12 months. There are a lot of options for housing in Denver. Do yourself a favor, and pick a better option than Four Star. They clearly have no idea what they are doing.

I just moved in and my apartment is so cozy and comfortable! The windows in the living room allows for plenty of natural sun light and my neighbors are very friendly. I highly recommend Four Star to all those that want to find an apartment is wash park area.

The leasing agents are extremely accommodating and friendly. They really know the different Denver neighborhoods well and made it easy to set up tours when we asked for them. All of our questions were easily answered. I would recommend them!

We put in a maintenance request for a heating issue and was worried it would take a few days. They had someone at our unit within the hour and they fixed our heat! The guy told me he worked for Four Star. Unreal level of service

The leasing team is prompt and speedy! We were looking/ working with a few companies to find a home and Four Star was BY FAR the best and went out of their way to help us narrow down our search. We ended up going with a different company but I just wanted to thank the leasing team for their efforts and professional attitude.

Four Star is very accommodating and professional. They gave us listings that were all within our budget and not yet available online. I called several times with questions and they promptly answered the phone and got back to me with all the information I needed. Their customer service is spot on!

This company will scam you out of your security deposit. We were mid negotiation after they overcharged us for everything when stopped corresponding and sent us to collections. We left a 300 square foot apartment in great condition and they're trying to charge $900 for painting and $500 for cleaning. Absolute scum bags.

Horrible horrible horrible. I have been trying to get my security deposit back from my last place with them for 5 months now and at least 25 phone calls. They basically steal your money because they service so many people and truly do not care about any tenant's finances. I am baffled at this point about what to do with this company. Not to mention since I still live under four star currently I will have to do this AGAIN for my next security deposit whenever i can finally leave! Are they just gonna steal 3 grand from me and keep pretending the check is in the mail again? I feel like every time I call there and speak to someone about my situation I am screaming into the void. DO BETTER.

Do not rent from this agency. Four Star will take your money, conveniently lose your records, then refuse to speak to you when you call to ask them about it. Here's what happened to me. They mailed a security deposit refund that was less than half of what I paid (a full 60 days after my lease ended, and I had to call and remind them to send it). I called several times to ask why it was so low, and the agent's response varied from "I don't know and can't find out" to "It doesn't matter because it's not our property anymore" which is extremely unprofessional conduct for a rental agency that must handle thousands of transactions every year.

I even contacted the new property owner (Wheelhouse) and of course they have no idea who I am since my lease started and ended before they took over. It's been five months since my lease ended, and Four Star still can't account for the deductions and insist it's not their responsibility. Despite the lease agreement and a physical refund check with Four Star's name on it.

The only thing they can say is "we sold that property so it doesn't matter." They even deleted everything off the management portal (RentCafe) so I can't see the documents and photos stored there. I kept copies of everything, but apparently Four Star did not, because they can't account for the deductions they made from my security deposit.

I really enjoyed living at a Four Star Realty community. My property manager, Dave Johns, was very responsive and provided great service! He was always available and willing to assist with any issues I had. If you are looking for a rental in Denver, I would highly recommend working with the professionals at Four Star Realty.
