Please read this BEFORE you consider signing on any leases with firebird. I have a one year lease that I will not be renewing with firebird and a certain homeowner. It seemed too good to be true on the house offer, and after a month in I found out why. They managed to hide irrigation leaks outside for the new tenant and I found out from an inspector that this has been an ongoing issue for years that they have refused to fix.

I have paid $2,200 in water in 6 months of living here as a single person household who does not use a lot of water. I have had to turn off my sprinklers multiple times because firebird will not send someone out to fix it until after my lease has. Very funny to find that out. So not only am I still paying high water bills, the washer was leaking and the landlord solution was to remove the unit and leave me with nothing.

The screenshots I included are one of the maintenance ladies from firebird telling me that even though I have leg issues I must climb around the fence and cut down a plant that's over 10 ft tall. Per my lease that's not how it's supposed to be. Fast forward to now, my refrigerator has been dead for 2 days. I lost ALL of my food and frozen meats. Looking back at the lease the landlord & firebird have also worded it to where he is not responsible for the refrigerator as well and I'm sure his solution will simply be to remove it and say I am SOL on everything else I have lost so, that brings my grand total of excessive loss in this house to about $3,000. every time I call in to try to report my refrigerator that died this weekend I'm put on hold for excessive amounts of times until I'm forced to hang up because no one will answer.

The owner will not be handling the fridge issue neither will the rental agency even though they gave it to me with the house, I cannot even get them to remove it from the property themselves they expect me who's got disabilities, to move a giant LG fridge outside and leave it? Interesting. If you are not ready to be financially taken advantage of please do not sign on with firebird they don't care and they only want your money which is why they try to rush you when you move in. Unless you have about 3k to $5,000 you're willing to throw away on someone else's falling apart house.

We rented a house they managed for a little over two years. They have an online portal to pay charges and request any maintenance easily and conveniently. The firebird staff was easy to get a hold of when needed, helpful and didn't have random charges. They were accommodating and had a resident advocate to help with any issues we might have had.

This place is a joke! Wish there was an option for 0 stars! Please RUN away as fast as you can! Do not give them any money! They have refused to give me my security deposit back after I left their home cleaner and in better condition than when I moved in. I asked how I can dispute their decision and they NEVER responded! Go figure! Its been a month!

They are fraudsters and they don't care about you, your family, or your money. I suggest checking out all the bad reviews and experiences on BBB website before you give them a dime! I had proof and pictures of the condition of the house when I left, they won't even bother to reach out to me to look at them, in fact I can't even get them to respond. What a disappointment.

RENTERS BEWARE! DO NOT i repeat DO NOT rent a property managed by this company. I lived in one managed by them for several years and it was a nightmare from Day ONE! Should have been a sign when i had to literally chase them down to respond to me about application and approval. It was a complete joke! Finally got into the property and had nothing but negative interaction with office staff being rude, accounting screwed up regularly and maintenance orders never completed.

I invested hundreds of dollars of my own money to live in the home and maintain it to normal living standards. They come out once every six months to inspect the property with no regard to working adults and give an 8 hour window with only 48 hours prior notice. Yes i understand by "law" this is considered appropriate but for people who are actually responsible adults and work hard to pay their rent then it's frankly completely disrespect.

When i moved out of the property i worked hard to clean every inch of the property even though it was FILTHY and not kept up when I moved in. The property was cleaned and well kept at move out. I requested to be present at final walk through so I could assure any questions or concerns could be addressed then. The same woman who had done the live in inspections did the move out. Inspector commented numerous times throughout the last inspection "how clean everything was" and "how no one ever leaves a property this clean".

Well two and half weeks later i received a letter with my security deposit refund with only a third being returned to me. Letter stated excessive filth and charged me for things the inspector commented on how clean they were. This place is a complete scam. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM EVERRRRRRRR! They will rip you off it's a promise!

Totally unprofesssional and liars. They claimed a house was rented after submitting application and it still shows over 2 weeks later also BBB reviews show piss poor management done by this company both towards tenants and even owners ending up in legal entanglement due to malpractice and horrible management by Firebird. Check bbb.org for more information.

I also know a couple folks who've been in contact with them about other rentals and been ignored. Given the bad economic issues on going you would think trying to secure renters would be important. Seems Firebird only cares about collecting fees and not doing their actual jobs as a management company.

When we arrived, on the surface everything looked good. Then we had some guests visit us and when they went in the extra bedrooms, there was dog hair on all the bed coverings. As we looked further. the baseboards were dirty and a few marks on the walls. The furniture had not been moved to vacuum underneath. I managed to clean to my standards for the 2 months I was there.

The kitchen cookware leaves a lot to be desired. Very poor quality and not many cooking utensils. Then after I thought our stay was over, I get a $900 bill taken from my credit card 3 weeks after we left. We were only there 2 months to enjoy family and the weather. We actually only spent 5 weeks there because we went home for 2 weeks for my mother's death, and then my husband became ill and we returned home 10 days early before the end of the month.

We were hardly ever at the house as were site seeing and spending activity time with our family. We are a retired couple and don't appreciate being taken advantage of. I washed all the bedding and towels before we left. We left the house cleaner that when we got there.

Unfortunately Their is not a scale that can represent Firebird Housing professionalism. This company is minus -1000! First of all don't even complete a move in sheet because it will not be considered when you move out. I have dealt with this company since May of 2017. The home was in very poor conditions from start to finish. The home wasn't clean before I moved in and this company had the nerves to try to bill me to clean in its entirety when I moved.

The house had several light bulbs that needed to be replaced at the time of move in. Now that I moved but I'm being charged For the company having to replace bulbs that weren't burnt out. They have even made up charges regarding the blinds being broken. Now they are charging me to repaint the entire home stating the already dirty walls prior to move In should be clean and painted at my charge.

The owner of this property was very professional and a pleasure to work with wish I could say the same for Firebird Housing and it's affiliates. Whoever they hired to clean and paint did a horrible job they even painted the door jobs on each door in the entire house and the tubs and showers. There was Mildred and mold, termites and mice, and lizards living In the walls. It's also infested with scorpions, spiders, ear wicks, centipedes, and snakes also.

My traps from the companies I paid to exterminate ever month were always filled with inspects. This company is not a honest company, and I will be getting my lawyer involved and the City of Phoenix section 8 housing voucher program to get some of these ridiculous and made up charges reverse. Frankly they are trying to trump up charges and using my security deposit then billing an additional $900.00 or more.

Just make sure you take pictures which I did! Thanks for letting me share my review. I had to at least do a star because I wouldn't be able to leave the truth but they don't deserve even a bit of that star!

I cannot tell you how much our family appreciates Firebird Housing! From the first contact, over the phone, each office representative was warm, welcoming and willing to help. We had a bit of an emergency situation and they truly came through for us! If you are looking for an amazing leasing company to work fo, I highly recommend Firebird Housing!

Upon moving in boxes in the garage dirty garage floor, house smelt like dog, let them know, they did nothing, bought a carpet cleaner cleaned carpet every month to deal with the stains and odor that would resurface, first night heat wouldn't work, never resolved, misc. items in the back yard on move in, they're trying to charge me for removal, home cleaner then when I moved in, they kept all of my deposit and are trying to charge me addition money!

Would not recommend! You're deposit will be kept! None of my issues while living there were ever addressed! Sent me to collections for 135.00 more then my deposit, even tho house was cleaned and carpets cleaned by a professional! Similar to most complaints your deposit will be kept regardless of how much you do to clean! Will be going to bbb next!

I love Firebird Housing. I never have trouble getting in touch with someone in the office. They always make sure that my concerns are addressed and resolved as soon as possible. Work orders are easy to request and always addressed within the day. All around a great company. We will definitely stick them for as long as possible. And I would recommend them. And will use them again.

I am only posting one star because I couldn't post zero. This Company is so unorganized! It takes weeks for maintenance repairs to be fixed! For over six months they could not figure out who was in charge of our landscaping. I had to personally pay the landscaper every week crossing my fingers to get reimbursed at the end of the month when it was included in our lease.

The pool guy they sent over to us stripped down to his boxer briefs when he jumps in our pool. Inappropriate. Overall, they have a huge lack of communication and simply don't return emails. No wonder there is a huge turnover and staff there. I would be embarrassed to say I worked for Firebird housing. I will never work with them again! Extremely pissed off resident

This agency is ridiculous! I called them regarding a property using the phone number they left on ad: constant background noise on the line like their office is located in Walmart or subway, I wasn't even sure that I called correct number at first. Then a person on other side of the line picked up and didn't even introduced the company name, just asked who I want connect to.

I carefully ask if I called the property management company, she confirmed and then I was redirected to voice mail of an agent, I think. I'm still under impression that this is a fake company. Just a joke.

My wife and I have been renting a property through Firebird Housing for 9 months now and are very satisfied with the experience. When we first moved in the unit was clean and the primary inspection went well. They have acted very quickly when there has been an issue with the unit. I recommend them and would rent from them again.

As a property owner.worst experience ever. Things started out great when Carrie was there.then everything went silent. Tenants would call and ask for items to be fixed.maintenance company would send an email, I would respond, and they would do NOTHING to fix the tenant problem. There was always an excuse about change in staff or they lost track of the email or some other lame excuse. Then, as the tenants left my property, I decided to cancel my contract because I was wasting money for these guys to manage a property they never managed.

They tried to give the whole deposit back to the renter when there was clear damage to the home, damage to the outside landscaping - they then decided to play both sides of the fence and tell the renters I as the property owner was out of line, and tell me the renters were out of line and they were afraid they would sue. No integrity, no ownership.think twice before you trust your home with these folks!

Do Not lease a property managed by this company. Yet another negative review about this company. Their management fee which is several hundred dollars per month is in addition to the advertised rent amount. Their failure to communicate and response to issues is unacceptable. I have not not reached the end of my lease yet but based on a prior review should not even expect my money returned. This is a scam

I was quite suprised by some of these reviews so felt it necessary to post mine, Our experience with Firebird Housing has been exceptional thus far. We just signed a lease on one of their properties. We needed to move quick and Donna and Amanda have been amazing through the whole process. Very prompt on responses, very thorough. We look forward to our tenancy and future dealings with this company. Of course we'll update if for some reason things change but great first impression for sure! Thank you!

Interesting that the owner writes they are BBB A+.a simple google search shows their score of C+. We leased a property from this company for a year and the entire experience was miserable. We should have known to walk away before we even signed the lease. The communication process with the woman we worked with from the start was awful. She was late sending over the amounts we needed for deposits, she was late the day we showed up to get our keys and she was extremely unpleasant in every single interaction after the fact. Repairs were always a headache and they act as though you are bothering them when you request a repair.the vendors they work with never call when they say they have which prolongs the process of any repairs.

We waited over a week when we had a leak under the sink and a broken garbage disposal. We also had a huge issues with our shower leaking into the kitchen.which eventually led to a hole being cut in the kitchen ceiling and never fixed or repaired in the last two months of us living there. They request you have a company come in and clean the carpets before you leave.which cost us $400.and the carpet company asked why we were having them cleaned because they were spotless.very interesting policy.

We requested to be present at the final walk through and signed a paper stating that we wanted to.only to have the person doing the walk through call us when he was already at the home and say he didn't read the notes and he would be there for 30 more minutes if we wanted to drop by. Arizona law states the tenant has the right to be present at the walk through.explain who has the ability on a work day to get to a property with 30 minutes notice.

When we called to complain the woman told us "it's our word against yours".is that really how you treat people that pay almost $2500 in rent and have always paid weeks early? We are eagerly awaiting the return of our security deposit.which we have heard from previous tenants not to expect even after paying $400 to have our carpets cleaned, landscaped the yard, and spent over 8 hours cleaning the property from polishing cabinets to magic eraser on any marks on the wall.

If you have any intentions to rent from these people please think twice. They also changed their name from the Globa group to avoid all the negative reviews that they have had.

I am a current tenant, renting a home in Chandler, for about 8 months. We are going to be looking at renewing our lease for another year here shortly. Most of the reason why is the managements quick responses to work orders and the ease to put in work orders via online portal. The house is a tad older so some odd end items come up but that's expected.

So far the best at rental management company I've had when renting homes in the Valley. Application process was easy and within a respectable time frame we were given updates etc. Online portal for rental payments is a breeze. Would recommend to friends/co-workers.

Firebird housing managed my property as a rental home for 2.5 years, then acted as my real estate agent for the sale of my home. Their property management is very professional and they utilize a maintenance company that has reasonable prices. Denise was the person who handled the property management for me and was the point of contact for the tenant.

She is very patient and always had a quick response time to any issue the tenants had and any question that I had. There are some stories about property management companies that are horror stories and some stories about how they just take your money and don't 'manage' anything. Denise's professionalism is absolutely top level.

For the sale of my home Teresa was the real estate agent. She is amazing. She also breaks the mold for what to expect out of a real estate agent. As I was working out of state, I needed help with arranging the repairs and upgrades to the house. Teresa went above and beyond. She arranged contractors and gave me great advice about how to get the home sold for the best value without wasting money.

Her tireless efforts were directly responsible for selling the home within a month of listing. If I were ever to own another property in Arizona I would go with this company. I absolutely recommend them.

Firebird does not care about their tenants, all that matters to them is collecting the rent check. Since they took over my property the place has gone to crap, over grown weeds, the beautiful blue pool I had when I moved in is now empty. I have maintenance requests dating over 2-3 months backs, this company needs to be reported to the better business bureau. I wish I would have seen these reviews before signing the lease.

I just received my statement regarding my deposit refund and am beyond pissed. This is the most dishonest I have even been treated by a landlord in my entire life. Several of the items were broken or damaged items when I moved in and I am not responsible for taking that this place up to the level that those owners remember it being at. The house was clean when I left it.

The damaged listed are all otherwise normal wear and tear on a house and I am disgusted that Firebird housing has let these owners rack up this list of items on me like this. For example, $50 for replacing a god-damned air filter? There were leftover air filters that I bought sitting in the garage for god sake! I had 2 inspections from Firebird during the time I was there and received zero complaints on the condition of the house.

In my move in I also listed several of these items and they need to be deducted from this statement. Again, I'm disgusted by both Firebird Housing and these owners for their siphoning off of my deposit. May they receive the Karma of a nice future in hell for this treatment Be warned, Firebird Housing will scam you out of you Security Deposit no matter what condition you leave the place it, so if you are a prospective tenant be aware. If you are a current tenant moving out I wouldn't waste your time doing a thing to clean it because they will not return your deposit regardless.

I just got a notice I had a judgment filed against me by these people. As far as companies go, Firebird Housing/Golba Group is the example of how not to grow business through referrals. They could not possibly care less about the property or the tenant. Months of trying to get things repaired and scorpion issue resolved. Got stung twice, they didn't care in the least.

I did move without notice, but why treat them any better than they treat their "customers". Take my deposits, your judgment, your crap house, and shove it up your newly branded ass. Changing your name won't help. I will make it a goal to contact every one of your potential and current tenants and show them the pictures of the house and the repair bills I paid and never got reimbursed for. You are a joke, other agents in the area won't even show your listings.

Called for a month on a property, asking for someone to call us back. Was told we could set up a walk through at the end of the month when the tenant moved out. Left voicemail after voicemail for anyone to contact us back. Called back, once again at the end of the month to be told it was already rented out. No call, after asking for a month. They are very rude and have no costume service skills.

I guess it saved us the headach of renting from them. If this is how they treat potential renters, how do they treat the people that actually rent from them. I would worry about ever hearing from anyone. Thank you for not calling us back, not even once or taking our money.

Paid $80 for 2 applications & never heard back. It's safe to assume we didn't get the house but a response would be nice. Enjoy our money! Theresa finally came through& refunded our application fee. I would've preferred to be informed that we didn't get the house & not left in the wind, but at least they corrected the issue the best they could.

Please have a look at Golba Group Property Management reviews on Yelp. Golba Group renamed itself FireBird Housing after slews of negative reviews on and off line. I agree with Jamie O and many others on that posted (formerly under Golba Group) on the review. Please also look reviews on https://reviews.birdeye.com/golba-group-property-management-746219840 We moved out leaving the place much better than we first rented it.

As we bought a house we left before our two year lease was up. We complied to everything to what was necessary to get out of lease. We gave more than 30 days notice. We cleaned up the place. We paid for carpet cleaning. When we turned over our keys, we were told we would get our security deposit within 14 days of move out (as required by law). We inquired about the move out inspection.

We were told not to worry about that. We called the office 17 days later. We were passed unto voice mail. No return calls. Inspection was done without us present (another violation of tenants rights) and sent a list of "damages" that we were never present to dispute or chance to "fix." Needless to say, they took our deposit and charged us with "damages" that were over the top and already existed in the property as listed in our move in check list. Further, there was constant problems with water, heating and a/c.

Absolutely awful management company. Serious lack of communication. tried to tell city of mesa that we had renewed our lease after we moved out trying to keep the utilities in our name. Numerous other issues during the 2 year period that we rented through them including taking almost a week to fix a faulty a/c system that was never really fixed properly and too many plumbing issues to list.

Run the other way if you look at a rental property managed by them. UPDATE: have now received a call from them AFTER we have moved out and past the end of our lease telling us that they never received our intent to vacate which was faxed to them over a month prior to the end of our lease and telling us we still owe them rent on a house that we have moved out of.

They don't follow instructions of the owner. They do not handle tenants properly. They don't return phone calls. They overcharge for everything. They take a huge amount of money for themselves on top of any repairs. I was charged for the same repair twice. When I talked to the property manager she informed me the 2nd charge wouldn't be removed. I went to the owner, who got into a screaming match with me and my husband. As soon as my contract with the is up, I am getting as far from this company as possible.

Had my property with them for 13 years, the first 10 were fine but recent changes and constant turnover have made them unusable. Poor record keeping, lack of follow through and outright lies make it so I would not trust them. They will also nickel and dime for all kinds of costs.
