The money is good the training needs a bit of help. They are a very good company to work for! HR is very responsive when needed.

I am a caregiver for a client that lives in a set of apartments that they have just recently taken over every time they turn around due to someone dying in the office now all of a sudden all these rules are coming up and basically seems like the only thing they wanna do is a 1/2 a** remodel and then turn around and complain about everything that's going on and going on and when trying to call it's A5050 chance of somebody's in the office 9 times out of 10 the office was closed and Now all of a sudden they're like oh you're in rule violation of this rule violation of that when none of those rules were obtained before this person that was in the office died she was the best one in the office now the new staff in the office Expect people to jump the 2nd things are passed out the letters but when you try and call to talk to somebody about it they don't always answer and again like I said due to the fact that there are main source of management passed away meant passed away because of a heart attack things have just been going downhill and when people are on a fixed income it's really hard to just up and move

What I find most interesting is that you leave a response saying you can't wait to hear from me and request that I reach out, which I do, you know exactly who I am, so you could have reached out to me anyway, but alas my reach out yields no response. Typical GRES behavior. point made. So people that live here and too have issues, know your rights, read the fair housing laws, they are there to protect you.

Fight for what is right and don't be afraid to stand up for yourself. If your rights are violated then reach out to HUD and they will stand beside you and help fight. Company's will misbehave only as long as we let them. Especially on properties in which HUD is involved. If I could give zero stars I would. I am a long time resident of a property on the Washington coastline.

I was here before Guardian took over during a sale of the property and can say without a doubt that this property went to hell in a handbag when Guardian entered the picture. This company will stop at nothing to try to cover up their wrong doings. They lie, and I'm almost certain that they have a basket at the front door to the office in which they are to place their morals in for the day.

They are very unresponsive. They painted assigned spots with no effective or informative procedure, causing confusion and tension among tenants. Now the visitor spots are always full of tenant's second vehicles or long term "guest's" car who isn't on the lease. Ridiculous waste of money and time. Guardian needs to remove all the folks not on leases. I'm happy to point them in the right direction. #indiancreekvillage #hoodriver

My mother lives in one of there buildings and she does not like the staff there. They have lied to her and she can't seem to get a copy of her lease and the will not give her any thing in writing when she has asked. Do not rent from this company they will try to take advantage of you.

Badly ran company. Look elsewhere for a company to rent an apartment from. Have been with them going on 2 years it's been an awfully bad 2 years. I've gotten nightmares from the constant ordeals. Bad management.

I am currently moving out of the Maurice Dear/Whitney Gray. I wanted it to be my home, but because of terrible management, odor issues and not providing reasonable responses to issues, it became a nightmare. Thanks for ruining my downtown living experience. To keep a long story short, I don't recommend living here. We would have extended our lease if a polite, reasonable fix was made to the building problems. GRES has a lot to learn when it comes to treating people with a little respect.

From the beginning they have ignored phone calls even the corporate office. I see this complaint a lot in the reviews. With a reply oh please call this number so we can fix the problem, it always goes to voicemail after 6/7 rings, and no one ever calls back from corporate, Iv been trying to call the office serving our complex for over a week no one answer calls or returns emails, we've been through 3 management companies this is the worst by far

I've lived in Portland for over a decade, this is the absolute worst landlord I have ever experienced. Staff is dominated by rude, inexperienced, and unprofessional people who protect one another above protecting their tenants. Bed bugs like crazy, multiple fires in the apartment complex, several car break-ins, abusive management and office staff, trust me you can do better in Portland! Collins Circle staff was outright discriminating based on gender and income.

Future employers, do not employ Autumn King or anyone from this company. Before Guardian took ownership of this complex I rated it 4.5 stars, now this is what it's become. Sad

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value Hollie Forsman is the reason for this terrible review, I cannot speak to the other professionals. Run away if you have to work with her. Terrible, rude, very unprofessional. She ignored emails and had a very bad attitude.

I have lived at The Barbara Maher apartments for over 5 years. During this time I have experience, animals running around the building without their owner, charged at and aggressively barked at by dogs, differences made against tenants by management, very unprofessional behavior by management, and having false and nasty things said about me by management.

When I spoke about calling the managers supervisor about these issues, I was told don't waste your time. Her supervisor allows this kind of behavior from her. I have experience that this week when contacting her supervisor about management not addressing a complaint I made. Right now, I am experiencing very disturbing noise from a neighbor visitors.

The visitor is over everyday and for hours keeping up very bad noise. I am experiencing loud screaming, dog scratching on my wall, toddler kicking very loudly against my wall all through the day. I have tried to do all, I can just to get it address. Was told by her supervisor today this is regular apartment living and basically to deal with it. Tried to even produce examples and it was all side tracked.

I don't know if anyone reading this review has experience being treated differently than certain people. I will tell you, I have and it's not a good feeling and very unfair. When trying to point out what was stated in the lease agreement saying not to cause noise that disturb your neighbors is not allowed. I basically was told that does not exist when it comes to me.

The rule was totally revised by her supervisor. Basically, I was talk to as being ignorant and had no rights as a tenant. If, this situation was vice versa, I would of immediately be issued a violation. I have a 3 year old toddler nephew who likes to jump, kick, run, and hit on walls also. I normally babysit him a few days out the week who lives in Washington.

My nieces unit does not allow this loud behavior from any of the kids here. Its considered a disturbance. After the supervisor said, this is acceptable apartment noise for kids to do these things at The Barbara Maher. I will start babysitting my nephew at The Barbara Maher. It sure will save me time and a trip to Washington. When I moved in this building.

I was told you could not babysit kids here and guest had to follow the lease agreement. Maybe there is different rules for, different people living here. Fair Housing states that, everyone should be treated equally. I wish someone would tell management this and look into this situation of being unfair to certain tenants.
