Rented an apartment from them. The building didn't have a functioning dryer for months. Someone from Ithacor management once dropped off a used mattress by the dumpster for our building. In response, Tracey made a text group chat with every tenant in the building and proceeded to yell at us and threaten to take away the dumpster entirely. She accused one of us of doing it, but when it came out that it was actually one of their guys. radio silence and no apology. An extremely unprofessional property management company.

Do not ask them to fix anything in your apartment, either, because they will either ignore it, or send a guy who only covers up the problem and doesnt fix it. This is seriously the kind of property management company that would slap a fresh layer of white paint over a dusty wall, paint over outlets and hair and lightswitches, and call it "newly remodeled." Stay away.

I see what you responded with, and the issue is that you never respond to anything except the Google review. yes we knew that we have to move and that isn't the issue. it is the response of your office. I am not the only one who feels that way. But, anyways.we only have two months left of our lease. if I have to I will pay payments on my remaining rent that isn't the problem. I guess we shouldn't have rented a student house in the first place and just stayed where we were at.

I rented a condo from these people for 6 months. I never missed rent. Took very good care of the place. But now that it is time for my deposit to be returned. No one answers the answers the phone or email or text messages. Melissa started out very nice. But now she treats me like a peasant bothering her. Don't rent from or buy from these people.

A lot of the reviews on here are complaining about the time it takes to get the keys, but I had absolutely no problem at all. When I started to look at the apartment, I was able to apply and be approved very quickly and even allowed to move in sooner than I planned. I highly recommend this company!

My husband & I rented out with Ithacor in 2018. We had a three bedroom for $625.00 which is not a bad deal at all. However the apartment had many issues the kitchen ceiling was caved in, the apartments second exit by the kitchen was blocked and never cleared out, the bedroom had water bubbles all over indicating that there was a leak. water was coming in through the roof. there was a hole in the roof.

There was also ACTIVE black mold. We had put in a maintenance request & maintenance had painted over the ACTIVE black mold instead of taking care of the root issue. Due health reasons (caused by mold) we had to break the lease with Ithacor. We did not ask for our security deposit. Recently I applied for an apartment through Ithacor. It took 6 days for Ithacor to reply to my texts, phone calls, & a voicemail I left. Regarding updates. To then find out my application was deny because of my previous rental history through Ithacor. I personally would never ever rent out with Ithacor again.

I paid $15 to fill out an application. I received one email the following day asking if I had toured the property, which I obviously hadn't. I responded that I haven't yet, expecting to receive another email or some type of contact setting up an appointment. I heard nothing back. I sent another email to the "vp of tenate relations" asking the status of my application.

The answer was "we don't rent properties site unseen and this unit allready rented and would I like to view a unit farther away bigger and 275$ a month more expensive" so obviously it wasn't a problem with my application and impeccable history and background. It has to be they thought " oh we can milk this guy for a LOT more money than this place so let's rent this place to someone else and offer him the 900$ unit instead" it's either that or this company is just making $ of the 15$ application fee.

Either way I wouldn't suggest dealing with them because one way or another they are sheisty and unprofessional. ::response to owner:: once an application is submitted (which your website compels you to do) the responsibility lies with your company to be attentive and responsive to the consumer who is PAYING you to perform a service. I received an email from Tracey the morning following my application with one line "have you toured the unit?" I responded that I hadn't yet.

I received no communication back for a number of days until I emailed again asking the status of my application. It was then basically implied it was my fault for not having toured the unit. Which is obviously your job to set up a tour. I don't care how "fast" anything moves in any "market" you failed on your end to do your job. But you still took my money though didn't you. You can try to play it off and blame shift but there is a reason ithacor has so many bad reviews.

I'm a student at SUNY Cortland, and have been renting from Ithacor for 2 years now. Tracy always responds within the hour, and if there ever is an issue, maintenance shows up the day of the issue. I can honestly say I've never had an problem with Ithacor. They are flexible with payment dates, and you won't find any other company to care for their clients like Ithacor. Rent with Ithacor and you won't be disappointed.

I am being very generous giving a 1 star. My handicap, pregnant daughter and her husband have been dealing with this company for almost a full month, pd there security deposit, had to call utility companies to get started and still no keys, no one will respond back to allow nyseg access to turn on gas, and are supposed to move in in 4 days but no keys no one answers messages text nothing. On top of that when have spoken to someone very un professional demeanor. Terrible company. And refusing to give back deposit.

I made multiple attempts to view a propery with little to no communication from Ithacor in the end. I understood when she had to reschedule, cancel but, to not even respond to a potential client shows what kind of company this is. I for one will be renting else where. Landlords if you're paying for this service be aware you just lost out on a great renter.
