I have no idea what we are paying for. They confirmed received of my offsite address but didn't update they records. They put a lien on my property because my credit was exhausted and they were mailing bills to the WRONG address. I have to pay more to correct their mistake. Also no help with navigating problems between owners. Avoid them

Jnrealty represents our HOA and it has been an extremely poor experience. They sent delinquent assessments notices to our members and threatened to place liens on the units due to an accounting mistake on their part. Once they were told to address it they kept changing their story and it was very hard to get any assistance from them on the matter.

They do not allow for phone calls so you must try to communicate with them entirely over email and it is a slow and tedious process. They frequently skim emails and ignore important subjects. They do not familiarize themselves with the financial obligations, bylaws, or CC&Rs of the HOAs they represent. They aided and abetted our lone HOA president (We have a requirement of 3 members to operate in our bylaws but they blocked others from attending board meetings and running for elections).

They are unable to assist in providing financial documents required under California law. When I joined our HOA it was in a state of massive disarray with no meetings held since 2010. No proof of any finances, no way to get assistance/approvals from the board, and they consistently threatened fines to unit owners based on made up CC&Rs. When I tried to alert the management company to my concerns they were unresponsive.

When I tried to talk to the HOA board they passive aggressively ignored my messages and forwarded them back to the management company. At which point they addressed none of my concerns and told me I can't legally ask my board president for HOA documents. They exist as a bully and bodyguard for corrupt HOA boards. David G, the managing partner and Julius do nothing to help except come to the defense of their ill equipped staff.

They could use more training to handle easily avoidable events like these. I can respect standing up for employees because that is fair and correct but I can't understand it when the employee is actively failing to due the bare minimum of their job to help protect my real estate. I do not recommend doing any business with this company. They allow boards to run rampant and provide an unjust environment ripe for manipulation and embezzlement.

Worst management ever do not reply to emails nor answer phones. Have waited 2 plus hours and no answer. The time I did manage to get thru no representative was available nor any manager or broker. I have asked for HOA Meetings through Zoom and nothing. I have requested for new board members and nothing as well. This is honestly the worst management company we have ever worked I seriously hope if you are looking for one do not hire this company.

I like the account manager. I give him 5 stars. However it can be difficult to contact them. Phone calls aren't really something they do, which can be difficult. This is a company-wide thing, not an account manager-specific thing Repairs on our building are slow Costs for basic services, like certain HOA docs for refinancing, are extremely high

The staff responds quickly, professionally, and effectively. They have been managing my condo for over ten years without any problems. The buildings have been upgraded completely since they've been in charge. They react to emergencies practically immediately and around the clock - they have an 800 for emergencies. They use good vendors, review contracts, and supervise the work if needed. Our lives as board members are easy, for we get all the help and attention we need to run the place. Good job J & N.

This management company stands well about the rest. These fine people rearranged the torn-up landscape of your condominium in no time. Many owners did not trust our then board and management company and tried to sabotage everything they wanted to do. Of course, nobody wanted to serve on the board either; everybody wanted to complain only. Finally, and after exerting great effort, we got a new board in place, and the new board hired Julius's company.

Although he had a hard time to collect the HOA files from the current management company, he started our management smoothly. After a few months and a few open meetings, the owners began liking the new management, because it made many improvements to our property: fixing gates and doors, painting fences and railings, fix side walk elevation problems, and such.

Now owners can see that neither the board nor the management is idle and is willing to make great improvements in the project. The only thing a few owners don't like if the fact that Julius immediately and aggressively began collecting all delinquent accounts, which the delinquent owners did not like, of course. (The previous management failed to collect large sums of assessments from owners.) We could not have done all that without the help and assistance of Julius and his people.

It needs to be mentioned that Julius understands this business like very few others. In the past, our manager had to look up laws and get advice from other professionals; not in this case; Julius seems to know it all - amazing. Anyway, if your association is in trouble, give Julius a call.

Although I don't normally take my praise or complaints to social media, I recently feel compelled to point out what a great property management company my home owners association has in 'J&N Realty, Inc.' My town home complex consists of 24 units and there always seems to be something that needs attention. What I am continually noticing is how quickly Julius Nagy and his team respond to the seemingly never ending issues that arise.

I've lived here 14 years, and before J&N Realty took over at the beginning of 2012, everything took way too long to resolve and too many mistakes were made. Basically, things were a mess. Many of our home owners were extremely frustrated, myself included. When the decision was made to hire J&N Realty, Inc. as our new property management company, this all began to change.

I immediately noticed the difference in their operations and consistency in how they treated our concerns. Julius showed up at our meetings and walked our complex to help us determine a plan to catch up on needed repairs and provide our regular maintenance. He was great at pointing out special areas of interests and providing us with workable ideas.

I also noticed his wonderful ability to listen to our concerns and offer suggestions on ways to achieve our goals without breaking the bank. He was extremely responsive and prepared to deal with our many HOA matters and really seemed to understand the daily life issues surrounding our little community. We have since had numerous matters arise where things needed to be handled swiftly.

Not only is Julius and his staff very easy to communicate with, but their professionalism and responsiveness to questions and problems is unbelievable and still amazes me. The vendor relationships that J&N Realty has provided us with have been essential to all that we have been able to accomplish since they took over. Their network of quality service providers has enabled us to work out discounts and savings not only with our special projects, but our regular maintenance as well.

Our complex looks beautiful, as they really stay on top of what we need while making sure the work is done correctly. But what really prompted me to write this is a project that we recently had done (asphalt repaving). I came home in the afternoon after the workers had left for the day, and noticed that there were bottles and some trash that had been left behind in the grassy area near my unit.

I decided to call Julius, expecting to leave a voice mail asking him to remind the owner of the asphalt company to have his employees clean up better behind themselves. Imagine my surprise when Julius himself answered the phone and, after listening to what I had to say, agreed with me that this was not acceptable. But what was even more surprising was the email I received less than a half hour later, letting me know that the asphalt company had been contacted, and someone was on the way back to pick up the trash!

Not just a promise, as within the hour, it was all gone. Now that is exceptional 'Customer Service' at its finest, above and beyond. it's also exactly what I've come to expect from J&N Realty, Inc.

J & N Realty is a great HOA management company. We've been using them for almost 6 years with great success. Julius' managers and staff members are responsive and competent. They do not nickel and dime us at all. They cut fat to the minimum and saved us lots of money, which we can use maintenance and repair. I definitely recommend them to all Board of Directors.

When I first joined the HOA in our condo complex several years ago, we had a HORRIBLE management company that did absolutely nothing and took our $ every month. A professional colleague of mine recommended J & N and we hired them immediately (at a much lower rate I must add). I cannot say how happy we are with Julius and team - they are extremely quick to reply, efficient and knowledgeable about HOA laws. I highly recommend J & N!
