Jenkins handles management for the condominium building where I used to own a unit. I found a buyer for it and it went into escrow. I provided all the documents that are typically provided to the buyer through escrow. It was necessary for escrow to close for Jenkins to complete a short questionnaire about the property. (They may also have completed a separate questionnaire for the buyer's mortgage company, not sure about that.) When I was presented with the preliminary closing statement just before close of escrow, I discovered that Jenkins was charging me $275!

They did do a little work, so a small fee would have been reasonable ($50?). But here they really took advantage of the situation big time. When I complained they just insisted it was a 'standard fee' and refused to lower it. Nasty!

Horrible management company. For over a year we've been dealing with a plumbing issue which they cannot resolve but are really quick to react regarding their payments.

Worst and most inept company I have ever worked. RUDE and not efficient. I hope you do not have to work with these people and they are not helpful nor are they slightly customer friendly. run run run if you have to deal with them. USELESS.

If you are looking for a reliable management company, this is definitely not it. Our board hired this company a couple years ago and the building has been going downhill ever since. Our manager, Heather, never responds to emails or returns calls. To get any response I will usually CC other board members on emails for assistance. We've had multiple serious security and maintenance issues, with no solution, but our fees have gone up multiple times.

My neighbors are constantly joining and dropping from the board out of frustration of how the building is managed. I know management companies are known for not being the most professional, but there's no need to pay a premium for this one. I finally sold my condo because I couldn't take one more issue and to this day I'm still being charged HOA fees.

I had to go to my bank to stop payment because the Jenkins team is too incompetent to transfer the HOA fee to the new homeowners. Do not hire this company, you will be sorry.

I would give negative stars if possible. The whole company is a representation of improfessionalism. If you are looking for property management, you may have better luck doing it yourself. They never respond in timely manner if they choose not to ignore you at all, nothing is their responsibility and you need to keep track of every single thing they promised or supposed to do, and then they may give you some response or lame excuses to brush it off.

Working with them is a nightmare and I wish I never ever need to deal with them. If you are looking for a way to devalue your property, you can have a go. I am a continuing suffering homeowner of a community they manage.

Their service overall is outstanding. We have been using Jenkins for our condominium complex's management for close to 3 years, and I don't know how we survived prior to their help.

I feel bad for you if this is your management company, you have to really be on top of them to get anything moving forward. Why am I paying them $300 month? it's a remarkable business they are in.

Last year I lost my A/C it happened during the 100 degrees we had ( I live in Altadena ) last year 3 months for them to fix a bad heater A/C unit they knew was bad Ok So on 11/21/19 my heat went out It took 1-1/2 days for the heat company to come Found out the new unit had parts that went bad I was told I would be with out heat for the weekend Then den 2 very small space heaters that plug into the a wall outlet I talked with Jenkins they are very aware they don't do much One other thing my 87 year old mom is here visiting and freezing So we went thru the weekend very cold They fixed it on Monday afternoon Wednesday night it went out again This is all during the rain and cold storm that is here I was told they would be here on Monday morning It was 38 degrees last night They didn't care did nothing to get me heat We are both sick now All I get is they sent space heaters and they will be here Monday They know they are liable and have to provide heat but I guess it's on their terms!

Jenkins came to the rescue to our complex in 2018, when we were in a very bad place from our prior property managment company's neglegence. We had accounting errors, neglected repairs, costly bills and overdue notices.it was terrible. We met with John intially and he was very transparent and honest, obviously we liked that. When we decided to give Jenkins a shot, he introduced us to Heather, our dedicated property manager. Heather is very responsive with emails and phone calls and even more accesable with emergency situations.

I can't tell you how impressive it has been to work with Heather and the rest of the team during our transition of property management comapnies. Definetly will reccomend to anyone.

I wish I have good things to say about Jenkins. Jenkins was our property manager for over 10 years in Glendale and they did the minimal in servicing our HOA. The issue isn't the minimal service. The issue we had with them was their employee named Ron Salgado. Ron has real temperament issue. He consistently hangs up calls on us when we were deciding on the painting contractor.

He was very rude. We made several complains to the "management" at Jenkins. We expressed our disatification to the owner several times. She offered nothing to resolve Ron's attitude problem and continues to allow him to yell and hang up calls on us. I rate this company a 1 star. I hope they can understand and fully consider our concerns about Ron. He serious needs to change his attitude. Owners should also discuss Ron's performance with him. Stop him from doing more damages to the loyal customers.

Horrible service, very unprofessional. I pay $330 monthly for HOA and its a complete waste of money, If you're dealing with John Kelly, well good luck! He hangs up the phone on you, and never returns or answers his calls.

My sister and I own a rental home in La Crescenta, and were in need of a property management company to help us during the re-leasing process. We were fortunate to have been referred to Jenkins Properties and John Kelly. We couldn't have been happier with their service and professionalism. Mr. Kelly answered our questions in a timely manner and prepared the necessary paperwork for signatures.

He helped us with many steps along the way, including meeting with the prospective Tenant and the walk thru. Melissa and Cynthia also were helpful during the process and gave us a good referral on a vendor we needed. We will definitely recommend John Kelly and Jenkins Properties to any others who need property management service.

In the past couple of years, Jenkins Properties Management with direct involvement of Mr John Kelly made some significant improvements to our building. Mr. Kelly And Mr. Welsh respond to your building issues and concerns as soon as they can and never hesitated to meet with the board members to discuss the issues and took the appropriate actions. I had some bad experiences with the previous account managers but the company really stepped up to take care of so many maintenance issues and so many delayed repairs got done. Looking forward to seeing more positive changes. Thank you!

I'm very happy to report that after having had a bad experience with Jenkins, they are under new management and Melissa has taken such good care of us. I'm so impressed how quickly all of our concerns have been addressed and are being taken care of promptly. Jenkins has managed my property for several years. I was in over my head when I hired them. They rescued me and they have taken care of everything since then. With Jenkins at the helm, I feel I can relax and know that the professionals are in charge. Oscar does a great job with my taxes too.

Most professional company I have the good fortune to work for! I work for a few great property management companies and this was one to keep, indeed! Since 1988 I 've had the good fortune to call Charlotte and Bea my Clients-repeat clients for all their painting projects and well beyond! These ladies tell me I'm easy to work with, and i can only wonder what statement that is, i mean they are simply the ultimate business people in real state TO WORK FOR

Acting as the buyer's Realtor, I recently closed a condo transaction and Jenkins Property (JP) is the HOA. This company is the worse HOA company I have ever worked with. Here's a few of example why: The last two days of closing escrow, JP still have not identified which parking space/s is designated to my buyer, the mailbox key, the garage remote are missing and the gate intercom is not working. Moving forward - one week has gone by after the close of escrow and they still have no answer to the items I mentioned above.

My client hired a locksmith and changed the mailbox key as mails are pilling-up. One week had gone by and John @ JP sent me an email stating they have the key to the mailbox (they had the box re-keyed) after my client did. Why didn't JP got this done right after close of escrow and waited a week and advised us? I sent an email to John and cc'd Charla the day before I said I will pick-up the keys in behalf of my client and asked to confirm my request., I went to their office day after, arrived around 10:30AM.

I met and spoke with John and I asked him if he got my email? He said to me, "I heard about it". I said, I sent it to you directly and it's now 10:30AM and you still have not opened your email? When I arrived, John had a clean desk, no file or paperwork on his desk, obviously this guy is very busy (sarcasm). Bottom line and what I have learned from this company: They do not have any idea what they are doing, they are not on top of their business. These people are very unprofessional. They are not very efficient and lack of experience.
