Working with Johnathan at Katy Property Management has been a pleasure. We have referred several customers to them and all of them rave about the customer service. Would recommend them without hesitation.

What a pleasure to work with. Fair, responsive, and helpful. Recently assisted us with, no, lead us thru an issue with a local utility that damaged our property, and was able to secure a refund for repair costs on our behalf. Could not be happier with their services!

They stole $998 from my deposit, after six years living in the house. We left everything clean, in out side and they charged me for a 8 years old storm door and 16 years old microwave door. This company just take care of them self. How do you expect that after 16 years, a house that has not been repaired. this as new. A storm door that does not have protection, due to inclement weather, it is normal for it to be damaged. when we entered the house six years ago.

It was already installed and I told the owner to put a cover on it to prevent it from being damaged. We left the house painted with not holes and clean. even the carpet, which was 16 years old.

My property has been managed by Katy Property MGt for the last 10 years. I have nothing but great experience from all property mgt office especially Mr& Mrs Short and Johanthan. The best people in the business. Now I sold my property and looking forward to have them manage my next property. They made my life easier with the rental house. Thank you guys and see you soon. This is my first time renting a house and dealing with property managers and was so frustrated that it was almost as if I was being ignored. I would get letters from the HOA about the yard but KPM wouldn't give me any HOA guidelines. I asked for them 3 times from 3 different people and it was always, "I'll email them to you today". Every couple weeks their was some new person that was supposed to be handling our property that ultimately ignored our concerns as well.

Their website was a pain to navigate and was just thrilled when my landlord switched to Real Property Management. Maintenance is finally getting done and glad that all Property Management places aren't all like this one.

I recently rented a condo through Katy Property Management for a total of three years. Their management team - especially Beth Pena, who I worked with closely over the last year and a half - was professional, considerate and prompt. I would highly recommend this team if you're renting in the Houston area.

The folks at Katy Property Management are the real deal! Johnathon, yes Johnathon, (no typo) is a rock star! The quality of service, responsiveness and professionalism at KPM is second to none. KPM managed my property for over 6 years before I sold it and all I can say is if I buy another rental property, I will surely employ KPM. They'll have my business for life. Keep up the good work KPM!

Avoid this people.! terrible and unprofessional. They will do anything to take anything from your deposit, and abuse on the charges for what they call damages. This is how they make money, ripping off their clients by over charging in repairs. Do yourself a favor and take pictures of every single corner of the house if you have not choice than going with them, besides that, you will be back here in a year. complaining that nothing is enough for them, they need to take money out of something, because thats how they make money.

Do some research online and you will see other complaints about this recurrent activity by them, and some other ex-tenants complaining about the same, something that I didn't do. Do not accept the final walk-thru without your presence. You will regret it. I am not sure how companies like this stay in business and get away with this abuse. Shame on them. Good luck if you decide to still go with them, I will see you at the end of your contract.

We were responsible renters for last two years in a home managed by Katy Property Management. Rules were followed, house was left clean and well maintained. I was very disappointed in the move out process, could be due to property management and/or the owner of the home that we rented. They refused to work w my real estate agent when my lease was renewed (which would have given me an advocate during move out).

This helped enable them to keep one thousand dollars of security deposit upon move out. They itemized charges that were beyond what would normally be documented upon move in, they double charged for items, most items were wear and tear only (you can't dispute easily because they use a third party for final walk through, and don't allow the tenant in), they frankly lied to about missing light bulbs to keep $15 extra dollar of my deposit.

I disputed and was able to get back a few more of my dollars, I don't have the time to right this in small claims court. I would caution against renting from KPM unless the renter would like to give over their money for upkeep on a home they will not own.

As a first time landlord, KPM has surpassed my expectations. I know I'm not their only customer but Beth and Jonathon at times make me feel like I am. I have a difficult tenant who is not exactly the most financially responsible and they always work with the tenant to make sure he gets caught up on any missing rent. Also repairs are handled on weekends and after hours with very little involvement from me, which is a major positive because my life is busy enough as it is.

I have had the pleasure of living in a property managed by Katy Property Management for the last 3 years. They are the most professional and personable company I know of. I have had many conversations with Beth and I can tell you she is a HUGE asset to the company. I am always at ease when I speak with her. Thank you all for what you do to make the tenants lives as stress free as possible. I would recommend anyone to KPM.

We are absentee owners of a property in Houston that we now rent out. For the last 10 years, we have used Katy Property Management to manage our Houston property. They take care of rent collections and resolving any problems with the tenants. Now that they have a website set up, we can quickly find out the status of rent collection, management fees, rent deposits too our bank account, repair issues and costs, etc.

Being homeowners living a far distance from Houston, sometimes our questions and issues don't get handled at the speed which we like. But they do get taken care of. The staff is terrific. They usually respond quickly when we call and if they don't know the answer, they get back to us in a timely manner. We are satisfied with the service provided by Katy Property Management and have no hesitation recommending them to anyone looking for rental property services.
