Terrible customer service. They locked their doors during business hours during the COVID pandemic. They would take my check (dues payment) if I slid it under the door but would not give me a receipt to show they received it. (By the way, this is the procedure in place when I submit a payment, they give me a receipt). I explained I preferred to have a receipt but they said no, they would mail me one. Well, I tried to explain to them (through the glass door) that there have been instances that they "said" they did not "receive" my payment on time and charged me late fees when I did pay it on time.

I requested if they could please take the ten seconds to give me a receipt so I had documentation that it was paid. As I was explaining, they walked away from the door and disappeared in the back office. I stood at the door thinking they were getting a receipt for me, I guess not, they were back there hiding until I left. After 30 minutes, I called the property management company and explained the situation.

They were not helpful to me either. All I wanted was a receipt slid under the door! They finally agreed to give me a receipt.this time only! The lady finally comes back to the door and slides the receipt under it to me. A request that would have taken 10 seconds cost me 40 minutes of my time. She gave no apology and walked away. (A worker at the credit union across the hall heard the situation and commented that she could not believe how poorly I was treated as a paying customer). I

Just wanted to give Gina at Amber Property a thank you and a 5 star shout out! I had cracking on patio and broken gate lock. Sent her an Email asking for maintenance help. Within a few days received a positive response, Work was done professionally, PCW contractors did a great job cleaned up and did a nice job with a smile! We post all the complaints but I think it also helps to post positive reviews as well, when deserved! Thanks!

They tend to pass the buck and don't properly vet contractors for service. Our trees in the entire complex were effectively butchered by unqualified and unskilled tree trimmers who simply whacked off the tops with a saw. Today I stood in the chill waiting for a security service to inspect my garage to be sure I was not living in it or using it for business.

They did not show up. I am not surprised as I have come to expect nothing other than association dues invoices. A neighbor has had repeated "are you kidding me" conversations with Community rep from Amber who can't quite seem to keep a handle on a single issue. All in all, ive been liberally UNimpressed.

This is my favorite story regarding the incompetence of Amber Property Management. Jamie Hackwith, who is the son-in-law of the owners, made a bizarre mistake and sent me a threatening letter demanding that I remove the safety lighting sensor on our building. I'm not joking. This took place in March of 2013. My wife and I got a laugh because Jamie Hackwith indicated that he thought this device was some sort of camera.

I wrote back that Amber installed the "camera" about two years ago. To his credit, Jamie Hackwith was quick to acknowledge his mistake. Nevertheless, I thought it was weird that the guy who was serving as our property manager would mistake our HOA's safety lighting sensors for spooky spy cameras. I still laugh out loud whenever I remember this incident.

I love working with both Liza and Julie. They both work as a team and nothing falls through the cracks. There are no egos and they both complement each other in regards to skills and strengths. In my opinion, this is by far the best team we have been working with at Amber!

We had so many issues with incorrect processing of payments and things generally not getting done around our community until Amber took over as our management company. It's night and day between the old company and this one. I've dealt with a few different employees there and all were helpful and friendly.

My review how I was personally treated in the offices of Amber Property Management. My Association had recently been switched from another company to Amber, and I had a ton of issues with the first company. They had put numerous undisclosed and unexplained fines on my account and when my account was transferred to Amber I went in to talk to them about it and they were more than happy to help me with the majority of the fines. Pamela Morris was incredibly helpful and there was no hassle at all when sorting through the miscellaneous fines.

Since then, anytime I need something I am able to go into their office and see Pam within minutes. She is very sincere and considerate and am very happy to have Amber as our property management team.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your immediate response in helping us contain and solve the water leak problem my building had. We went through several management companies before we found this one, work orders are taken care of promptly and enough violation letters are sent out to keep our Association looking great! Our last management company hardly ever sent letters and when they did there was no follow through so the place started to look really run down, now we are back in shape and the property values are looking better.

Some people don't realize that if the Association doesnt have the funds, the place can't be kept in Disneyland pristine condition, we, the Board can only approve the Management Company to take care of whatever we have the funds for. We are VERY happy with Amber Property Management, they have been with us for over a year now and we get great communication, not a computer that says you will get a call back within 24 hours then still never hear from anyone! I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

I am happy to say that Amber has been our Management Company for a few years now - Thank god!. When I speak to Customer service they work on the problem the same day. Also, I had a problem paying my monthly dues and the owner of Amber personally sat down with me and helped work out a payment plan. Thank you Amber for helping to keep my family happy. Long may you reign!.
