I would NEVER and I mean NEVER rent from this unprofessional place ever again. I moved in November or 2021, with things already wrong with the place I rented. I submitted my work orders and annotated the defaults in my home and the first issue was never addressed until Mid January of 2022 (Broken fence lock). Also reported a mold issue that I was having due to a leak under the sink in the kitchen which was jk addressed also until late December.

The contractors that they have are also unprofessional and so is Longhorn Property Staff. From the time that I moved in until the time I moved out it was nothing but hell. Also, they are very money-hungry, so choose wisely.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company definitely had us fooled in the beginning. We had an amendment on our mortgage contract for a repair to our roof that the seller would be responsible for, and after we signed the closing papers they completely left us high and dry on enforcing the contract amendment. They ignored texts, phone calls, and emails.

Whenever we were told we'd have a call back we never did get called back. They made up an imaginary monetary figure that they said was proposed by the other agent, when the other agent was contacted they had no record of offering that figure or making an offer at all. After refusing that figure through our agent from Longhorn we never heard from them again and were forced to seek legal action to get the roof fixed. The other agent was more than willing to work with the amendment so we're not sure why Lennox Alfred and his team were negligent on this matter.

Longhorn properties were fantastic. In the midst of a property shortage. They were able to make some exceptions and get me into a place. The place looked really nice it was super clean. I am so thankful that they were willing to help me out and get me in.

BREANNA the CLERK" told me my rental history would take 24hrs MAX TO get back to my new rental company, however when i called the next day 26 hours later, giving themselves enough time so that theres no excuses (staying at an Airbnb at this point), just to find out SHE MEANT TO SAY "48hours". Just to send out an email answering 4 questions. The fact i stayed with them for 1 year and 4 months due to COVID And they never fixed our microwave handle(completely broke off) or the bottom of the refrigerator.

But then when i want to move on from the HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, i have to wait 50hours (and counting currently) for my rental history like i didnt at least receive $100 out $2400. Which from them is like the whole thing back. DONT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID TRUSTING THEM. RUN dont WALK.

This agency is low in professionalism and response. Once your in a contract you will receive very little communication and charges with no response until months later. Once you call the desk they will supposedly take a message but never will get a call back. Usually the excuse is Lenox Alfred is on a 4hr zoom call and are closed on weekends, holidays, days that surrounds holidays, and don't forget they close at 5pm. Just want to advise to seek business somewhere else if your wanting a better business relationship.

I have nothing but great things to say about Longhorn Properties! They managed our home for over 4 years and took great care of it. Lennox was also our realtor when we decided to sell and he sold our home in 1 day. I would highly recommend this company!

Longhorn Properties has managed our properties for over 10 years now. We are a Military Family, so having peace of mind on how our property is being managed is priceless. I am shocked by some of these reviews, because I know first hand that they go above and beyond to ensure our tenants are taken care of in a timely and efficient manner. This is of the upmost importance to this organization.

Being in customer service myself, I know that people may share a good experience with 1 person, but will tell 9-10 people (on average) of what they perceive as a negative experience. We have never had an issue with this company communicating with us, getting our rental income deposited on time or keeping our units occupied. They are thorough with their assessment of who they put into your home, and who they allow to stay.

Prior to Lennox and Darlene Alfred managing our properties, we had several evictions and a high vacancy rate. We no longer have these issues. They have overseen extensive renovations, kept us informed, been very responsive and ensure we have all of our tax forms in order each year. We could not ask for a better property management company, and strongly recommend them to any of our family or friends (property owners or renters).

We had been calling about a property for the last couple days and today we were told it was finally available to see. We drove all the way to the rental company and were given the run around 3 times on how the keys were not available and there was no time limit on when they should be returned(one time in person twice over the phone). We called a third time and were transferred from person to person and were finally told the keys are back and available but don't bother rushing from wherever you are because they will probably be gone again.

We gave it a shot anyway and drove back to the rental company we got there and the lady at the front desk was extremely rude with just the tone and overall way she was presenting herself with the words she chose to use. I was especially offended when asked about if we had pets & I said we have one pet and I have one service animal both are dogs. She responded to that with "mhmm sure you do" ( I didn't have him with me because I finally felt good enough for once to where I felt I could go outside of my current residence without needing all the extra help and I'd be fine with just my husband) I told her I have a doctors prescription I will provide & left it at that.

She tried to continue on and my husband just cut her off and handed her the paperwork he was filling out because he could tell I was getting upset that she was handling a sensitive topic for me very poorly. When we were finally handed the keys to go view the property that was apparently so heavily requested we were greeted by holes in the walls & what appeared to be mold on the floors.

The floors on the upstairs level felt so thin and weak I thought I was going to fall through as well. The only decency was the outside appearance and the appliances. The house was extremely small and smelled very mildewy to be asking for as much as they were for rent. Very very rude staff. The front desk personnel especially needs to be changed. No thank you we will be looking elsewhere.

I rented a property with Longhorn from 2013-2016. My electricity bill was over $500 every month for about 7 months, I thought nothing of it until the thermostat went out in the house. It took 2 weeks for them to send someone out to fix it (in the middle of August) I had a new born baby in the house and it was over 98 degrees and they told me it was nothing they can do about it.

When the maintenance man came out he advised me they had the wrong thermostat and that explains why my electricity bill was so expensive. I advised Longhorn of this problem and of course it was nothing they could do about it. Every time we put in a maintenance request it took over 2 weeks for a response. They are very rude to you when you need something done buy nice when you pay rent.

I moved out over 9 months ago and have yet to receive my security deposit. 9 months! Every time I call "their accountant is out of the building at the moment." I don't understand why they are holding my security deposit. The worse company I've ever dealt with. I wouldn't advise renting from them, a complete headache.
