My wife and I have moved a lot in the past 5 years and have rented from 3 different property managers during that time. Based on my experiences with all three without a doubt Louisville Properties and Jim Powell are the best we have had dealings with. He is accessible, responsive and a genuinely wonderful person. The property we rented was amazing, the move in and move out process is easy. I cannot recommend Louisville Properties enough and Jim Powell is just a topnotch individual.

Jim was absolutely outstanding! After weeks of deing with scammers on Facebook Marketplace, I finally sought out a professional to help me find a home to rent. Jim listened to my needs and went right to work! I'm now in a beautiful home and throughly satisfied! Honest, professional and hard working! Thank you so much Jim!

Communication was never an issue and response time to any issues that I experienced during the course of my rental were always addressed promptly. Jim was our property manager for the year we rented when relocating from Washington State. We have been so appreciative of the way Jim has treated us over the past year. There were no issues with the property, so we had nothing to report to fix. We did have two occasions we needed guidance about adding convinience items for our own preference. Jim was very quick to respond to all communications when we reached out to him.

I lived in an apartment in the Highlands managed by Louisville Properties and it was hands down the best apartment living experience I've ever had. They are always responsive and maintenance issues are addressed promptly. I absolutely loved living in a Louisville Properties managed apartment because I knew issues would be handled with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency. Also, I found the rental rate to be incredibly affordable given the area. I lived in my apartment for almost 3 years and only moved because I purchased a home.

I have been working with Louisville Properties for many years. I was nervous about renting my first home to a stranger but Louisville Properties has removed all the worry. They have been very successful in running and maintaining our rental property so much that I don't even think about it. They are very professional and always responsive. Without them we would struggle to manage our property on our own.

As of Feb 2017, my husband & I have been tenants of Louisville Properties for 5 years. Jim is a wonderful landlord, very straightforward, & honest. He promptly takes care of any maintenance needs on the property.

We rented a home from Jim for 3 years. Always felt as though we had a decent relationship and that we were caring for the house in the best manner possible. The home had not been updated since being built in the 70's and the yard was atrocious when we moved in with dead trees and plants and ivy grown up all the trees. We maintained a professional cleaning staff monthly and had the carpets cleaned regularly.

Clearly Jim is not family or pet friendly and we suspect our deposit has been conviently depleted in the move out report so that this home in a high end neighborhood can be sold. Not sure how this guy sleeps at night but hope our review will keep others from making our same mistake. Noticed that the other reviews here appear to be family and close friends.

Jim was very helpful with us in getting our home sold. After trying unsuccessfully to sell it ourselves due to lack of exposure, we were able to list it on MLS for minimal fee. The activity really picked up and we sold our home within a few weeks. His system works very well and he provided some great advice for us. We also saved a considerable amount of realtor commissions which allowed us to get more out of our house. I would use him again for another move.

My wife and I rented from Jim and Louisville Properties for 4 to 5 years. This was one of the best experiences from any companies in Louisville to rent from. I would strongly encourage around town looking to rent to apply with them. Anytime we had any issues or optical's with anything they were there for us. The customer service was outstanding all around the board, and one of the best and easiest companies to relate to. Hands down one of the best Rental Properties in the City of Louisville.
