I recently viewed a home in Ontario. I really enjoyed the man (I wish I remembered his name) who showed us the residence. He was very professional and personable. He handled himself very well. I was impressed and it appears that they have a good team of people.

Great company to rent with. Although rent is getting outrageous. How can you charge rent as if we are homeowners. Rent is supposed to be affordable not at the same pace as owning. Thats why families rent. We cant afford our own home. We depend agencies such as yourself to look out for public renters. I know my family respected your guidelines and cared for the home. Always in good shape. But rent was getting very difficult to afford.

It has a good selection of homes priced reasonable for some rental homes. When they have a wider selection plus they update there homes frequently.

Poor communication between its property management which has led to inaccurate information between them and website information posted.

My husband and I are not happy with this company, they're a scam. They accepted our application with the fee, then denied us the rental we applied for - if you're going to deny a customer for some BS reason at least give the money back. Also, terrible customer service that is condescending and rude.

Absolute terrible customer service. One lady in particular must have a rough life because she is one of the most unpleasant ladies I have ever come in contact with, I hope she reads this and checks her attitude.

I rented from Mark Andersen for almost 8 years. I have no complaints. Maintenance requests were answered and addressed almost immediately. paying rent was convenient using their online system. The staff was friendly and easy to work with. I really appreciated the privacy and respect they showed me while living there. when I gave my 30 day notice recently, they were very specific on what they expected in order for me to receive my deposit back. they even gave me a date of when to expect my deposit. before that date I received my full security deposit including my pet deposit. I have always rented and this was the best experience I have ever had. I highly recommend Mark Andersen & Associates. Thank you so much Erica, Tammi and all the staff there.

If you want any type of courtesy or human decency, steer clear of rentals managed by this company. Not only will your phone calls be met with rude contempt but they will be sure to take all that they can financially from those ignorant enough to rent from them. After their property roof leaked onto our couch, destroying it, they fixed the roof and proceeded to raise the rent.

The tack strip was coming up in so many places on the carpet that every member of my family bled from it. It ultimately left my son with a huge, unsightly scar on his knee. We asked numerous times for the carpet to be fixed to no avail. On top of all of that, we were given 60 days to vacate (because the owner planned to sell) with a promise of compensation for quick leave of the property.

Not only did they refuse to pay us when we vacated 2 weeks early, they gouged us for over half of our deposit, charging for removal of items that were at the property previous to our arrival. We had cleaned thoroughly and left the backyard in better condition than it was when we arrived. We even removed many old buckets of paint at our own expense that were also there upon our arrival.

They charged us for repainting, though we had lived there for over two years as well as window caulking, fixtures and blinds. All normal wear and tear items. Window caulking for crying out loud! They stole my expensive white board that was forgotten by my husband. Horrible, horrible people. No remorse, no heart. Stay away from rentals managed by very unprofessional Mark Andersen and his awful associates.

I can imagine that they deal with a lot of rude tenants, but I do agree that they are a bit on the rude side. However, that does not bother me too much. My real issue with them is the way they handle my deposit refund. I admit that I did have a spill and stained the carpet. Not a problem. I should be charged for that. However, I am being charged for upgrades.

When I moved in the paint was patchy and grass was dead in a old tree area. They billed me to repaint the whole place and they charged me for the grass. Furthermore, they have charged me for the cleaning of the miniblinds. I hired a professional cleaning service and they cleaned all of the blinds and the rest of the place. They have an unaccounted for $99 on the deductions too.

They have a "handy man" deduction that should have been covered under regular maintenance. All I want is to be treated fairly. I left the place better than when I moved in. It is unfortunate that this company sticks it to its tenants. I have seen many tenants come and go and all them complain about this. My experience is not an isolated incident. This is a pattern so it must be a business model.

You have to sue them to get your deposit back or at least start the process. To me, this is borderline criminal. If I stole $1100 from you, I should go to jail. They are a business so they put a description of work on paper and simply take your money. Since they have done this to all the tenants that I know, they will do it to you too. Avoid them! If you don't believe me talk to the current tenants. They will give you the history that verifies my claims. Avoid them!

To the owner of the house on Oak Hili: Fire this property management company NOW! They are not looking out for your best interests as they profess to do. I firmly believe that they are partly the reason why your house has not been rented out over the past few months and is still on the market. Went to see 11-06-12 My husband and I made an appointment to see your property and were unable to do so because the key was not in the lockbox. John, the nice gentleman who was there to show us the house, called the home office to let them know that the key was missing.

We asked the home office if someone could call us as soon as they found the key so we could take a look at it later, but NOBODY EVER CALLED US BACK! I had to call them back the next day to find out what happened. I was told that they couldn't find the key, but they had a spare. However, I found it troubling that nobody ever called us back, at least as a courtesy, considering the time we took out of our day to see the house but were unable to do so.

I decided not to make an issue about it, but I did have a few questions for you (the owner of the property). I wanted the to ask you if: 1. Could you please have all spiders and ants killed outside of the house since there were spider webs and ants all over the outside of the house 2. Would you accept a Deposit equal to the rent and waive the pet deposit since the dog is a very small yorkie.

I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask prior to filling out a rental application. I was told that they couldn't reach out to you until we filled out an application. However, they did pass me along to 2 different people to see if it was possible to let you know of my request. The last person that I spoke with was extremely rude and acted as if my requests were stupid. Frankly, I had enough and hung up on her. First, we weren't able to see the house because the key was missing. Next, we weren't provided with the decency and courtesy of a callback. Last, the rudeness was too much to bear.

I'm convinced that the Mark Anderson property management 's lack of professionalism is contributing to your house not being rented out, and they might not be communicating to you some of the potential issues you have with the house. I can accept that they didn't want to contact you about my requests, but their complete lack of respect to your potential renters is completely unacceptable. I have already made a formal complaint about them on the Better Business Bureau's website.
