I will keep this professional and short. I could write a very long review, but Donna who works under this company and is located at the Water Street location has displayed the worst professionalism I have ever seen. The way she has spoken to me and treated me as a tenant is unbelievable. If you saw the text or emails (which I do not care to share) that she is written to me, you'd be curious as to why she is even in customer service. I hope to hear from management soon as I called the corporate office today. May do another review later.

Our rental was disgusting. So gross that i would not stay with this company again as they do not follow up on their service providers. All table tops were sticky and covered in dog hair and sand. The tub was full of sand. Makes it hard to believe the place was cleaned with it looking like that. We would have called and asked them to re-clean but due to Covid, we did not want the cleaners in there.

It is a downstairs unit so be prepared to be woken up every time the people upstairs move. The owner came down and needed access to the owner's closet which was in our unit. Again, due to Covid, we really did not want strangers in our unit. We told the rental company this: however, she came anyway to access her belongings. It was a bad experience. Anytime, you start your vacation off cleaning is not a good sign of things to come. I would find another rental.

I rent my place through network reality, and I am so pleased. I'm always able to reach Laurie with any concerns and they are handled immediately. This is the first time after 31 years of being a homeowner, that I have rented, and I am so pleased. She makes me feel important, and goes out of her way to get answers for my concerns. I plan on being here as long as possible.

First, they had me cancel my stay on Airbnb with the promise of renting me the whole house. All this did was cost me a cancellation fee that I never got back because they could not rent me the whole house. Then, they did a bug treatment and did not tell us before we arrived. On Sunday, we found a total of four dead roaches. The office was closed that day so they could not do anything for us.

When I checked out I told them about the problem and they offered to do nothing. When I emailed with them after the fact, their response was "We are so sorry this ruined your experience at this property." I would never use this company or rent any unit in the Beach Bungalow

Felt rushed through the entire buying experience. While I was very detail oriented, the agent seemed to brush off the need to be thorough, especially during the inspection process. The agent showed a lack of integrity by saying they would contribute to the cost of something for the home at closing and then going back on their word. I would not do business with, or recommend Network in the future.

I've had a great experience renting a property through them. Laurie and Leslie are the absolute best. I've had very few maintenance issues but when I did, someone was there to fix it the next day. My renewal process was simple. Highly recommend!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with our Realtor Laurie Smith of Network Real Estate! Relocating from Atlanta was so much easier with Laurie's help. To say she went the extra mile would be a huge understatement. She saved us time and money by taking care of things we would have had to travel back and forth to do ourselves. We thank her for her patience, tenacity and professionalism.

Network Real Estate has always been a great real estate firm. I have listing and sold properties with them and they have handled my property management. Great follow up and they really represent me well as a property owner. Tenants who leave properties damaged or not in good condition seem to be the big complainers but overseeing the property on behalf of the owner is what this real estate company is supposed to do and does. Great work

[NOTE: Review is only for property management side of Network Real Estate in Wilmington, NC. Realty side depends upon the individual Agent/Realtor.] REVIEW OF NETWORK REAL ESTATE WILMINGTON, NC PROPERTY MANAGEMENT: 0 Zero Stars - Horrible property management. Network Real Estate in Wilmington (https://www.networkwilmington.com/) is recommended only if you meet the following: (1) You do not want your property management company to ever update you on the status of your property, tenants, or account. (2) You enjoy relying on your HOA, former neighbors, friends, and tenants to get information about your property. (3) You prefer to receive your (supposedly monthly) statements sporadically, with lapses longer than six months. (4) You like having your property management company approve and make major expenses, without ever informing you, and enjoy finding out later only through your tenant(s).

In short, for the fee of 12%, Network Real Estate's property management in Wilmington, NC does little more than deposit your tenant's checks, all while providing lackluster/nonexistent service and communication, along horrible bookkeeping (think tax nightmare). If you're looking for a property manager / property management in Wilmington, NC don't choose Network Real Estate. Go somewhere else! CONCLUSION: If you're looking for property management in Wilmington, NC stay away from Network Real Estate!

Awful communication skills- caused an excess of unnecessary stress & expenses all due to a failure to be prompt in notification. Had Lori any respect for us (the ones paying her commission), she would have notified our realtor of a closing delay the day she found out about it (Monday) & not Tuesday afternoon, AFTER we moved out. Thankful that the most wonderful person purchased our home (listed by Discover NC Homes), and thankful OUR realtor knew what he was doing.

Not thankful for Lori's lack of attention, respect, and quality of service. If you're looking for a realtor only concerned about her commission- you've found it using Network Real Estate's Lori Winslow.

We should have realized from the very beginning that this company was not good with customer service. We NEVER received a move-in checklist as they later indicated we did. What we were given was a brochure for a gas range when in fact the range was electric. Our rep never got out of her chair. She would yell from her office at us or the front desk receptionst.

When asked to come see the house, she said she was never in the area. We paid a $2000 deposit in good faith but they did not act in good faith. The owners were awful, misrepresenting the homeowners association and driving by regularly to see the home. We were having difficulty with the heat. It was sporadic with cool air sometimes and warm air sometimes.

We reported this and they said the homeowner could fix it. This occured a day before the coldest weekend they have had. The homeowner spent hours trying to fix it. He came around 5:00 and left at 8:30pm saying he would be back in the morning. He TURNED OFF the heat for the night. That was February 12 when it went down to 28 degrees. The next day it was 34 and the next day 21 degrees.

The worst part was he did not even say he turned it off and there was no one to contact that evening. Since the heat worked sporadically, some would have been better than NONE. The house was cleaned, the lawn mowed and we were expecting to receive our deposit back. They hemmed and hawed and someone went in and made it dirty - even the microwave. They wanted the gutters cleaned, their ornamental trees trimmed, etc. RIDICULOUS. We received $1300 back from the $2000. They should be ashamed of themselves. They are crooks and we recommend not using their services.

There is nothing fun about house hunting! I was directed here after responding to a craigslist ad. Although I did not find a property to rent I was very happy with the customer service. When I arrived the woman downstairs directed upstairs but not before reminding me to come back to see her when I was ready to purchase a house. It was great that she was already willing to help.

Anyway I went upstairs and proceeded to fill out paper work so I could check out the property. One the bottom it stated that I needed a $40 refundable deposit to get the keys for the property I was interested in. I told the woman at the front that I did not have any cash but would be glad to leave something. She said not to worry and made copies of my license and credit card instead of the cash deposit.

I also asked about another property that was not actually managed by them so she called the right real estate agency and gave me the address. The rental was clean and nice but smaller than what I was looking for. I returned the keys about an hour later and made sure to give them all my information and the type of rental I am trying to find. Hopefully I will be able to update this review soon to say that I have found a house to rent. Great first time experience here. The agents were all more than happy to help and answer all my questions.

Network Real Estate's management and other personnel in the rental office really need to take some classes on focusing that the renter is the customer. I was treated like a second-class citizen with them over and over even though I was a good renter and paid my lease off early. I used a professional carpet cleaner and turned in receipts for that, cleaned the apt., installed new blinds, installed a new toilet when mine was broken (my fault it broke so I replaced it).

I was not asked to replace the toilet or the blinds. I did it because it was the right thing to do. I had to fight to get my security deposit (which was 1 and 1/2 times the monthly rent). I had to call over and over to ask for it, and I was met with staff that gave excuses as to why they wanted to hire a housecleaner and not give me that entire deposit back.the apt was cleaner than when I moved in except for some spot painting that needed to be done.

The manager especially was nasty in tone, changed her mind several times about when my refund would be sent to me, and was just difficult. I finally got my deposit back on the last day of the month (as per law), but the whole experience of getting the WHOLE deposit back was a fight indeed. I will not recommend Network Real Estate to anyone anywhere anytime ever again. Renter beware.

I had a great experience with Network Real Estate. The staff was very helpful and I always felt like I was their top priority. I rented from them for years and when I finally decided to buy my first home, they were ready to help me through the overwhelming process. I highly recommend Network Real Estate to anyone in the rental or sales market. You need a professional and you will find that here. I have even referred people to their Carolina Beach office for vacation rental properties. They do it all.
