I have lived here for over ten years. I have found that management has been friendly and always willing to work with me. Dan Hills has been exceptionally helpful to me on many many numerous occasions. He responded every time that I needed his help with something. He is an asset to Parklane. My neighbors have been nice and friendly. Maintenance was always quick to respond. I like the space and floor plan of my apartment. It is close to shopping, etc.

I'd give zero stars if I could. They WILL raise your rent every six months like clockwork. My rent increased $300 PER MONTH in 18 months. And the building I lived in was FALLING APART. You will be taken advantage of by renting from Parklane. Stay six months then leave if you don't want that to happen. Make sure you are meticulous with recording current damage and dirtiness when you move in and keep copies of the damage form.

They'll nickel and dime you for things that were broken or missing when you moved in and they'll charge you way more than it actually costs to fix. If your maintenance issue isn't urgent, don't expect it to be fixed in a timely manner. Do you enjoy having ample parking spaces for your building? Don't rent from Parklane. The parking garage where I lived (120 E Mallard Dr, go check the place out for yourself!) has structural damage from water seeping into the garage and rotting out the roof after rains and snows.

Instead of fixing it, they patched the drywall in an attempt to mask the issue. Didn't work. Instead of attempting to fix the water leaking issue and the parking garage roof rotting out and literally falling on the ground, they closed off every parking spot where water had knocked the roofing out. Like half the parking spots got roped off. We didn't even get an official notice of which spots to park in.

My girlfriend parked in one of the spaces and left for Thanksgiving and came back to her car impounded. See ya $600! The caution tape had fallen down and the parking spot was unmarked and seemed like a fine place to park before leaving. The day after she complained about no official notice about the parking spots, the maintenance manager placed a notice on every door in the complex.

He wouldn't entertain the idea that was his fault for not doing his job properly, which resulted in residents getting unnecessarily towed and booted. We are not the only ones who experienced this. If you're moving out, know the procedures outlined in your lease, and know what Parklane must do according to Idaho law. They tried to return me $200 from my security deposit illegally, but I knew my rights and I ended up getting $700 back because they made mistakes and knew I could take them to small claims court if they didn't return it all back.

Do not rent here. This is the single worst property management company I've ever rented from. Read the Idaho Landlord and Tenant Manual, published by the Office of Attorney General of the State of Idaho and know your rights so you don't let them illegally steal money from you.

I don't care how desperate you are to find housing. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY. They will charge you for everything they can even as simple as maintenance calls to fix what they fail to upkeep in the first place. The quality of housing is less than desirable and the amount of money you will shell out is unbelievable. Worst place I ever lived in my life and if I had to do it over I would've listened to all the other terrible reviews this company has. STAY AWAY! Would give 0 stars if I could.

Dan Hills was the best. Although we secured an apartment before we completed the entire application process with Dan, he was very attentive, cordial, professional and patient. He provided much needed guidance. I will be recommending Dan to anyone one in search of housing.

I have lived at Parklane apartments for almost a year and I am very pleased to stay. I am lucky to have a first floor apartment on the end of the building so that I have sun coming in my living room from two directions. The grounds here are lovely and well cared for. I like to walk as do many here, there are many places to walk and Bogus Basin is close by.

There are amenities like restaurants, grocery and downtown Boise very close by. I love my apartment, it is easy to live in with great storage, my own patio, and plenty of parking. My interactions with staff are always pleasant, and maintenance calls are responded to efficiently. The maintenance crews are friendly and ready with a smile and hello, when you see them outside. I highly recommend Parklane apartments in Boise, ID.

My experience with Parklane has been great to say the least. Dan is the BEST and was amazing to work with. He was quick to respond, helpful, and most importantly he was incredibly kind and accommodating, he made the application process efficient and easy. James and the turnover crew did an EXCELLENT job replacing the flooring of my apartment, it looks great! I'm super grateful and happy with my experience with Parklane and those that helped along the way!

Liz is great, as is the rest of the staff I've met! I did have one issue with a concern, but after consideration Dan quickly accommodated my need. I've only been here 4 months but so far I'd say this company has improved since reviews 2-4 yrs ago. I did have to do some deep cleaning when I moved in, but my standards are a bit high because of my health issues. I'd say, so far so good!

We rented at the Homestead apartment between August 2020-September 2021. Within one year of renting, the rent was increased twice. Started off at $920/month, got to $990 in January or February of 2021 and then $1140 in August of 2021. So be prepared to receive a letter saying something like "you have been a good tenant and we will give you $x amount off off your rent but we are also increasing your rent by $xyz amount" every six months.

The location of the apartment was the only good thing about that entire place. If you end up in one of the north facing apartments, you will not see any daylight and it will be dark all year round. The walls are thin, you will hear your upstairs neighbors walking around like they are next to you. During the move out process, the company also charged us about $300 or so for a damage that was present prior to moving in.

I called and ended up talking with Tisha. I mean I was understandably upset since I didn't create the damage, told her that "you are not doing your due diligence" referring to everyone in the management company, she had a mental breakdown and started being awfully unprofessional. I told her not to take it personally and asked her to stop with the whole attitude/disrespect she was giving me, her response was "no" but she did passive aggressively apologize at the end of the call (still means nothing since the apology was not sincere but oh well).

I asked to speak to her manager twice because of the way she was treating me during the call, the second time I asked she said "I am the manager and nobody believes me." I mean no wonder why, if she can't be professional then no one is going to believe that she actually is the manager. I did email the photos of the damage prior to moving in. Kudos to Tisha for being a totally different person and being professional over email. We were refunded the security deposit.

I recently moved into the Idaho Building on 8th Street. The location is great and the Parklane team has been responsive. It is also convenient that their offices are quite close to the location. I definitely recommend their services if you are looking for happening/exciting location that's close to downtown!

This is a beautiful apartment. The location is great and management is very responsive to your needs. They are attentive, professional abs very nice. The neighbors are happy and they feel like a community. I can't tell you enough how important is to have such a kind and professional management. The grounds are kept always clean. The quality of the upgrades inside the apartment are very good, although I would suggest a newer fridge. Aside from that, if you have pets this is the place to live.
