They are a horrible rental company. Every time anything has happened, water heater goes out, fridge breaks, ect. They prove to be the absolute antithesis of usefulness. Then of course there are the several months worth of "maintenance" that they have done while we have been living here. Like repainting the only bathroom in the house for several days forcing me to shower at my girlfriend's house, or painting the windows in September; preventing us from closing them on 40 degree nights.

Don't ask me about the quality of the paint job, with it mostly having flaked off by now I really couldn't tell (that was fun to sweep up for months). You can expect standard 10 percent increase in rent every year (or at least over the past 5 years without missing a beat) and an utter lack of compassion in every situation. But hey if you want to break your lease the fee will most likely only be double your monthly rent. Alright let's save them some hassle and find a sublett to finish your term, ooh $800 processing fee. Honestly the way they handle their tenants rights is so vampiric I would pay significantly more to rent through an independent landlord. Alas with them owning thousands of properties and using their gargantuan size to gobble up even more properties all the time it seems that we will all be paying a little extra to feed the leaches at some point in the future.

Do you like dodgy excuses and unpleasant secretaries? Do you like responsibility being deferred until properties are well past being dangerous? Do you enjoy being taken advantage of at every turn? If so, Peak is the company for you! Can't wait to hear what variety of waspish denial this review will illicit, but that I felt duty bound to warn renters and owners alike away ten years later, I feel, rather speaks for itself.

I would rather eat glass than ever set foot in their offices or on one of the properties they manage ever again. The sooner someone manages to class-action them out of existence, the better.

We've rented through Peak Property Management since 2018, and they've always been good to us!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value This is an awful company. They show up to plow a week after a storm and now we just have ice which I fell on. It's so thick ice melt doesn't work on it. It's their job to clear the snow off of our sidewalks and we are lucky if they plow at all. Whatever these people are getting paid is too much. Not impressed.

We were in a time crunch to move into a new place due to previous circumstances. Gave Peak Property's office a call to see if there were any available units (houses) to rent and low and behold there was! They gave us the keys to a couple units to check out to see if we liked them, really loved one place but the lease was short term, which wasn't ideal but we were willing to make that sacrifice to just get into a place.

When we returned to the office, the office staff mentioned that a short term lease wouldn't be ideal for our situation and mentioned another place in Belgrade that wasn't quite on their website yet but was available, within our budget AND allowed pets. Got the keys, checked it out and within hours we were filling out applications. 2 days later we were signing the lease and moving in the next day! Best experience I have ever had with a property management company in Bozeman, hands down!

I rented from them for all 3 years I was out of the dorms in college. They were super easy to work with, responsive, and timely. Anytime there was an issue I was able to call and get a work order in right away. The maintenance guy was in within 48hrs if not sooner. He is also a super nice guy. Everyone in the office has been super kind and made moving around very easy.

The stairs outside our apartment have deteriorated to the point that we can no longer get packages delivered. Peak Property management has been notified multiple times by the owners of the property regarding this and the outdoor deck that's so structurally compromised you can't even set a foot on it without risking falling through the thing. I was told the winter before last (over a year ago) that the deck would be fixed that summer.

It is now a year past when I was initially told the issue would be fixed, and the property continues to deteriorate with zero communication or effort on the part of Peak Property management. For a property management company, they spend remarkably little time actually managing the property.

Our stairs to our apartment have deteriorated so much that the postal service refuses to deliver packages to our apartment any more. Peak said they'd take care of it over a year ago. There's exposed rebar and concrete has crumbled. It's not safe. They won't speak to the landlord or tenants as they do not own the property. When the owners try to call they ignore their calls.

They aren't doing their job as property managers. All they need to do is answer the phone and have someone else take care of the issue, and they fail to do even that. Absolutely unacceptable.

We rented with peak for 3 1/2 years. The staff is always willing to help. If anything needed work at the place they were fast to come fix it. Greg gets a 5 star review for his awesome attitude and good work at our place. The $500 lease break fee was pretty expensive in my opinion, but other than that they are a great company to rent from.

Our experience with finding a new apartment with Peak has been nothing but positive. Yes, the application fee is somewhat steep at $50, but so are the fees anywhere else you go. Honestly, it's worth it to find a new home. And, because of COVID, they only have you pay half up front and the other half once (or if) you choose to rent a place, which is awesome.

The staff is super friendly and always willing to help with whatever your needs are. Julia is amazing and was there every step of the way! And she has been so welcoming, friendly, and always available whenever we need her. 10/10 highly recommend Peak.
