I rented from Gale for the 2016-2017 school year and never had any issues. My biggest complaint would be that the A/C and heater needs serious updating, but when the A/C seemed to be more inefficient than a model that old should I asked her to send someone out and look at it. They came the next day and got the unit in working order. When I moved in the fridge was broken, but they had a new one there in less than 10 minutes, literally less than 10 minutes.
My security deposit was returned with reasonable deductions for cleaning and furniture removal and given to me in the time-frame they quoted me. Mindy the secretary is always kind and ready to have a conversation. My experience with Poteete far exceeds my experience with EIP, Unique, and Dan Fitzgerald.

I honestly do not know where to begin. I rented with this lady for 5 years. I have never even been late on a payment let alone missed one. I often paid months in advanced thinking I'd establish a responsible reputation. Yea right. Gale Poteete only wants money and when she sees you have some, she gets even more greedy. I also worked for her as a landscaper.
She would intentionally hold my payment past the first so I could rack up a late charge. Complete extortion. She called the police on me for have a sofa ony porch. I would've happily removed it. She agreed to 650 for a 3bedroom but when I came to pay with my kids & lady, she suddenly uped it to 700. It was either crush my kids hearts or take it. She told my ex girlfriend that I was moving in with another woman! Caused serious problems.
The last straw was after I paid rent and she refused to give me a new key to my house. I slept in my car that night. After that I never even answered her calls. Guess who didn't take me to court because she knew she'd lose.? Stay away from Poteete Rentals. Gale and that secretary are evil.
