Plus points: Location, square footage, the maintenance team's competence, and the management taking concerns seriously (even though they might take a while to reply and p, unlike the maintenance team). Minus points: 1) When I toured the property, the agent explicitly told me that there weren't going to be any water leaks or pests. Come move-in day, I walk into a leak.

The maintenance guy told me it's a known issue with my unit. contrary to what the agent told me. Maintenance resolved this promptly, and management bought some stuff to help absorb water flowing into the unit. 2) Then comes the bugs. Ants, moths, spiders and flies. Again, contrary to what the agent reported, I have to kill at least 5 bugs a day. Not only does this go against my moral code, but it is inconvenient.

I just woke up from a nap, to a spider crawling next to me. I give the bugs no reason to come. I seal all food, trash, and anything that might attract bugs. Heck, they were here even before I moved any food or belongings in. They seem to crawl out from the vents and holes in the ceiling. I appreciate the team having used an exterminating gas before I moved in, but I was not told to expect more. Hopefully it isn't a recurring issue - I just put in a maintenance request about this. 3) Finally, there's the half-cleaned unit that I moved into.

Considerable slime/grime in the bathroom, dirt in cupboards, and food debris under gas burners that set off the fire alarm, etc. Then there's the persisting, musky smell of old clothes from the bathroom. Who knew I would have to add air fresheners to my monthly shopping list! While I have done enough to make the unit feel like home, I wish I didn't feel like I was lied to (intentionally or otherwise).

I would either have been mentally prepared to deal with these issues, or chosen a different property. I consider this a lack of good faith. So, please be careful before renting and do your own due diligence without relying on their spoken word and online advertisements. Again, I do applaud the maintenance team, and the feeling of care given by the management.

Liv McCoy was awesome. She constantly communicates! She responded quickly to my booking appointment. She showed me the space (socially distanced). Very professional. I was weary due to the reviews of the company. But she was way better than I expected. Super nice. She also gives advance notice of inspections.

The people are nice and the rent is reasonable. The problem is that they are slow to respond to inquiries and maintenance. Sometimes it took several attempts to contact them and a timeframe of weeks to get a response. They also charged us for damages that we did not do when we moved out ($3500). The garage door was dented and weakened when we moved in and finished breaking after about a couple dozen uses. It started out good, but then became a headache.

I am half wondering if this company is a scam. They text from a bunch of different numbers, and when you try to call them back, no matter what number it always routes to the same voicemail. They took 90 dollars for a application fee, with all me and my fiances information, and we never heard back a word. Don't do business with this sketchy company. And if you are a real business, I'd like my 90 dollars back.

This is an extremely tough time right now. Landlords selling with little warning, rent prices sky rocketing and everyone needed a place to live. I applied somewhere that had been listed for a month, was told no other applicants applied at the time. Asked what reason someone would be denied and they said poor credit. I told him mine and my partners scores before we applied and said if it's too low we have prepared additional deposits or a co-signer and he said that would work.

So we paid almost $100 in application fees for no reason, because I was told this morning we have been denied due to credit being 662. Very discouraging, and a waste of money. Set up for failure at the jump. It's so hard to find available, affordable places with four kids. This was such a terrible gut wrenching experience and a huge let down.

Tried to make appointments multiples times all of which got cancelled for no reason. then when we tried again a couple months later they cancelled and gave us a reason this time. When i called to follow up and ask about the possibilities of another property I spoke with Matt (or Max i can't remember) and he was not nice or professional and kind of just blew me off. I work in sales and customer service and that is not the way to keep customers.

I'm writing to review my property manager Victoria Ormsby. She has gone above and beyond her duties as property manager. Not only is every question and concern responded to promptly, but all necessary next steps are taken immediately (often within the hour) and followed up on as needed. For one recent repair, I expected we'd hear back about replacing an appliance in a few days and potentially get the appliance itself in a month or two. Victoria worked that same day to assess the issue, speak with the necessary repair and appliance professionals and confirm a delivery for that same week. We are super grateful for her service!

I'm very happy with Real Property Associates and I highly recommend the company. Max, Ivan, and Ashley have been very professional and helpful since I moved to the apartment. My Property Manager Max is really amazing. I had few concerns not too long ago, and Max himself came to my unit, took note of what needed to be fixed, filed a maintenance request, and made sure everything is taken care of right away.

He always makes sure that any concern I have is taken care of immediately. He is truly the BEST Property Manager I ever had and he deserves 10 stars. A Big THANK YOU to Max for all his help.
