Renters beware go with literally anyone else. they are the worst rental company I have ever used in my entire adult life. they try to tack any maintainence onto your rent regardless of circumstance and it took them 2 months and repeated reports just to look at a garbage disposal. they subcontract all repairs no in-house maintainence people. the office hardly answers or calls back or helps after your lease is signed. they do not care about tenant landlord relationships, how long you've been with them and paid on time, or how well you maintain the property. they only care about money and skirt all other responsibilities. if you use them take lots of pictures of every tiny thing because they will screw you out of your deposit everytime. they are slum lords renters beware. go with literally anyone else.

I rented from Real Property from February 2015 until April 2021. Good rental company. They always fixed everything and was always nice to us. When we moved last April we got back most of our deposit.

I rented a apartment in 2015 from real property management at 715 Mary st. The place was infested with bed bugs. my water heater thermostat broke needless to say the ruined my credit n my life I lost everything I owned n they kept my deposit

They take advantage of people! I rented with them for years and was never late on my rent but when I moved out they kept my deposit saying all of these nasty things about how trashed my apartment was! They lie to keep your deposit! Luckily I took pictures before leaving and sent them to them telling them I would take this further if needed and got a tiny bit of my money back. They are very nice to you until you move then they just pretend your apartment is thrashed and keep your deposit not matter how clean it is.

They are not real property management they are the worst ever. They drive me around for one month and at the end they rent out the property to some body else and the they till me that my application suspended for 60 due to rental history without telling me or informing me. They just run crazy just for your application fees. We need to change some with this property. Why they taking more then 1 to 100 application for just one property?

Melinda Brown makes a living by taking advantage of poor people. The properties are unkempt and unsafe. All the while they will price gouge you; it seems like there is always a new fee to pay. Your security deposit will disappear no matter how pristine you leave your apartment. I was offered heroin outside my apartment and my car was broken in to, yet Real Property Management is more concerned with threatening to tow you when you dare park in the wrong spot.

I have been living at the garden tract townhomes for over 6 months now and the whole process of moving has been great. Real Property Management has been very quick to respond to maintenance issues. My on-site manager Carissa has been very helpful as well.

The WORST property management company I have ever worked with. Melinda the owner just chooses not to return phone calls. The leasing agents will ONLY speak with you via text. They price gouge, move in people that are questionable, and have a BAD reputation in the city of Redding. They do not fix safety issues, take forever to communicate back with you when trying to give a 30 day notice, and in my case, exceeded the 21 day rule in getting my deposit back (which was not correctly billed). WHAT A MESS OF A COMPANY. I would avoid moving into any property they manage. Melinda needs to be run out of town. AVOID.

My experience at the Ivy Commons Anderson apartment complex was horrible. The onsite manager is very unprofessional as I continued to have ongoing issues of harrassment, unfinished maintenance repairs and unsafe parking lots. I do not recommendation these apartments at all. Things are left around the complex including trash, debree and maintence items weeks at a time. Cops have been called on domestic desputes, theft and breaking into the laindry mat.

It IS a smoking complex (even though it is advertised as not). Again, DO NOT RECOMMEND, EVER! Never again will I rent through Real Property Management. Update: Since leaving my review on the Ivy Commons. The onsite manager had people leave 5 star reviews all at the same time to get the ratings back up. Perfect example of resting my case. Completely unprofessional.

I have found the staff to be courteous, professional, and efficient. I was able to move into my studio apartment last July 17. I was evacuated for six days during the Carr fire and when I returned, my air conditoner was not working well at all (clogged due to smoke and ash). My maintenance request was handled quickly, within 48 hours; my latest request has also been handled in a timely manner, unclogging by bathtub drain.

I must especially cite Derek as being most helpful and respectful to this old Navy veteran. I am very happy being a client of RPM and look forward to moving to a larger place next year.

I rented from Real Property Management from ~January 2014-August 2015. I never had any of the issues with them I read in some of the other reviews. They were very open and helpful. Yes, there was a year lease, but I knew that going into things. and truthfully, it's pretty standard. They went above and beyond and reimbursed me for a hotel room for a few nights while repairs were made when our unit suffered some fire damage.

They were also very reasonable in the move-out/cleaning costs: I received most of my 850 deposit back, less about 150 dollars. Overall, great people. I can't speak for anyone else, but I did not feel misled with this company at all.
