As president of Rent Florida Realty Steven Terrinoni has been involved in every aspect of the company. Steve is a licensed Real Estate Broker and has over 20 years of experience in Property management, managing multi-family properties and single family homes. Steve has a certificate of completion of Successful Site Management through the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). Terminated my lease without my knowledge after 2 years, claim to have sent out a mail with my Termination letter and then I end up calling them to find out where my new contract is and conveniently get my mail box flooded with requests to view the apartment. Mind you we have paid our rent on time for 2 years and because I'm waiting on important documents from immigration at this time I had no intention of moving rent Florida Realty could care less about good tenants all they want is money its absolutely disgusting how I was treated after being a good tenant for 2 years, truly do not use these people if possible, you will be disappointed, they only take care of the landlords.

Not mention every time we called maintenance to come repair their apartment that had such old things in that they refused to take care of unless you pay them as if you aren't paying them enough for rent. Then when the washer dryer broke twice we had to take care of the bill and got told it was an amenity. Truly I rarely get as upset by things as I am right now.

I had a terrible experience with this management group. I'm sure they're great unless you require assistance, If you require assistance they do not approve of, they don't inform you or give any reasoning as to why, they have NOBODY working over the weekends so good luck if you work a normal weekly schedule and try to accomplish anything outside of normal business hours, they simply disappear. No response to phone calls or emails for weeks. No wonder they're being FIRED from their accounts.

Horrible experience. This was my first apartment. The first month of me moving in I had to pay$80 dollars for a new freezer motor. They gave me a refurbished one. That broke they had to come out and fix again. Now the window unit was leaking inside the wall. Which you can tell the wall has been patched before. Another 80 dollars. There's only one washer and one dryer for 12 apartments.

Which by the way the washer never works properly. When I tried to call them about not being charged for the ac. They we ride and didnt want to here it. I personally would never rent from this company again.

HORRIBLE. Do NOT rent from these people. We are renting a townhouse that listed a washer and dryer as an attribute. The washer and dryer were broken when we moved in and they refuse to uphold their end of the lease. There is no reasonable way we could have known that the washer and dryer BEFORE we moved in. We've been trying since May to get them to do something about it. Also, the roof has been leaking for the entire 5 months we've been here.

There are leaks in all 3 bedrooms, the bathroom, and the hallway. They continue to get worse with each storm we have. It doesn't make sense for Rent Florida Realty to keep ignoring our basic requests. The longer they spend getting someone to work on the roof, the worse (and more expensive) the work becomes.

Update 5/15/19. Beware of your deposit refund being held. We have received about $80 from the $1700 deposit back. Reasons were: 1. $1200 because we moved one month and few days before the lease expired. 2. $420 for miscellaneous and professional carpet cleaning. The carpet was there from the tenants before us and we had it for 7 years, but that needed replacement.

We had paid the pet one time fee before we've moved in, also we had to pay $100 for parking permits, $50 for pool key and $25 the mailbox lock and key since one wasn't provided. Also, I've repaired on my own each time the toilets flushing system broke down, re- grout both bathrooms shower area tiles and fixed the shed roof myself, without any assistance from Rent Florida Realty or the landlord.

I'm upset because even if we've lived there for 7 years and always paid our rent on the first, the landlord and Rent Florida Realty got greedy and haven't refunded our deposit. Initial review. First of all, Loramay Demarest is the BEST! Each time we had a problem (and we haven't had that many for the past 7 years that we've been renting with Rent Florida Realty) they were fixed right away and always with follow up communication to ensure the proper repair.

Last summer the A/C unit gave up and we've got a new unit installed in 2 days, which is amazing in high season. We loved the townhouse that we lived in, specially that the community has a lot of green space and allows larger dogs, we would have purchased that unit if it was available for sale. We definitely going to recommend Rent Florida Realty and use their services in the future (either as a renter or a landlord), without any hesitation.

UPDATE 2: was just told there won't be any AC again tonight. Rent Florida Realty wants me to sit calmly and wait while they contact the owner (out of country) to buy a new unit. Because even though they were told a new unit was needed a week ago, they figured the cheap fix might last over some time. But alas, here we are. Now "Shay" tells me that there is no rectification for the problem.

They don't provide fans or anything in this situation. They're just the "middleman" here to take the money and give it to the owner. When asked how he would feel in this situation, he says "I haven't had AC in over four years in my house; I just deal with it." And there you have it. Rent Florida Realty can't do anything to rectify this problem but keep pushing me as the tenant to the next day.

When asked if I'll be compensated for this week of inhumanity, he says he'll ask for a couple of days off the rent. A COUPLE OF DAYS? Wow. Again. I stress if you know what's best for you, do not rent from this company. And do not contract with them to manage your property. It is insanity. UPDATE: it's now been a week since I've had working air conditioning.

A week. The temperature has not fallen below 80 outside. Yet this company feels they can make excuses and cheap fixes to save the bottom line. What about the tenant? They don't care. Left messages and emergency calls over the weekend and their answer: it was after hours and the first technician "misdiagnosed" the problem. A week has gone by and instead of any cool air I get put off and excuses.

A better company would have made sure the tenant was okay health wise by bringing in a window unit or fans. Not these people. Probably costs them too much. It's not about the tenant. At all. If you pay your rent after the first you're charged a $50 fee. If you need any repairs it'll cost you $80. But they can take many many days to fix a real emergency.

And what about the tenant's compensation? Original review: Great if you don't need them. But if you need them as a tenant, the service is unprofessional and they get an attitude when you ask for help. Every interaction so far has been uncomfortable. And this comes from someone who pays rent ON TIME EVERY MONTH for the last 2 years. I'm sure I'll get even worse treatment now.

But I said I would just take my complaint to a review and was even still interrupted. IF you want your tenants to feel as good as this place says their tenants do in their recording (that I have to sit through for long periods while I wait to be helped), find another place to manage your property. I did not choose this company. My property was sold to a new owner who chose them.

So had I known the issues in the contract I would've gone elsewhere. Also, please be certain that just because I renew my lease does not mean I am pleased with the property manager. It means I am not trying to uproot my family. I continue living in this place because I have a family and school and work to consider. I just want to live peacefully, much like it states in the lease.

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR BUSINESS! RUN! I rented my property through this shyster for 4 years and terminated, yes terminated, not canceled my agreement with them within the 60 day specified timeframe to do so. I no longer needed their services and to be frank, their "services" were terrible, but I'll get to that in a bit. It was nothing more than, I was not in need of their services any longer and I followed proper protocol to communicate that. They, in turn, sued me for several thousand dollars.

Their contract (which may as well be written in sanscript) is written by a true greedy, con-artist. Read carefully please people and DO NOT work with this company unless you want to deal with constant headaches! The first tenant they found me after their "stringent" background checks had to be evicted because she stopped paying rent a few months into her lease.

They aren't capable of paying your HOA in the proper amount each month because they don't seem to understand how to communicate efficiently via email or phone and their maintenance is a joke! This was a close acquaintance of mine who owns the company and they sued me after I gave them my business for several years! Imagine that and now imagine how you'll be treated if you don't know who you're dealing with! DO NOT WORK GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS (and furthermore, whatever these cons reply is below to rebut, remember they are full of it and scroll through the other reviews to confirm) You're welcome:)

I have to give credit where it is due. I am not the kind of person to point out every flaw but I feel it is important to point out when a company goes above and beyond. Rent Florida Realty did more than I ever expected with my whole move in process. I have rented many homes all over palm Beach County in my 36 years and I have never been more satisfied.

They are a management company so with that being said their lease is not your average, however everything was disclosed prior to my even making application online. The property manager Laura whom I met with to put the down payment went on and made a point to reiterate to me a few things in their lease such as their maintenance deductible. I explained to her I was already aware but she still took the time to sit with me while I I went through the lease and she even took the time to go over the hoa application to be sure everything was good with it. I appreciate the fact they actually care and the effort that was put into to accommodate my requested move in day.

I've been a tenant for almost 3 years, I have no complains. Staff and management team are professional and have always provided great customer service. I have only had one maintenance issue which was address quickly and efficiently by Jasmine Durham. She made sure we were well taken care of and answered all our questions and concerns. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends to use their services.
