Personally never had any problems with Swift properties. Been good experiences with them. I understand that they have over 150 properties to attend to and I see they do their best to get to everybody as quickly as possible which is highly appreciated. Desiree is great at getting things done quick and promptly and moving forward with getting you into a new place. I appreciate it.

Our experience from the beginning has been the most professional, comforting and easiest experience I have had renting a place. First Katie was so helpful she was very prompt and organized. Ashley worked her day off to finish processing our documents and in less than 72 hours all of the paperwork and behind scene preparation was complete. When we moved in the place was clean and ready for move in we like our apartment and feel very at home.

We are happy with the space and the area. Maintenance is on top of grounds and building. I just want to say thank you swift management and crew for making this a place to call home.

Swift Properties, LLC went significantly above and beyond my expectations. Every step and practice was a pleasant surprise. The management is top notch; both knowledgeable and approachable. The requirements to be able to lease from Swift Properties, LLC are very fair. The properties are WELL maintained and updated. I've leased many properties throughout my lifetime and none of the other property leasing companies come close to the quality and class that accompanies doing business with Swift Properties, LLC.

I want to specifically acknowledge the professionalism and good nature of Katie and Ashley. Any company would prosper with these two ladies, but Swift is the lucky employer to have them. I didn't wonder or worry about a single detail under the guidance of Katie and Ashley. Truly, both of you should pat each other on the back, you are VERY good at your jobs!

Applied for tenancy. Paid 80 in fees and asked to see the property before paying more. Was told we had until 10am the next day before we would be set aside and the next application would be reviewed and that the property wouldnt be ready to show for some time. I understand only doing applications in a 72 hr period, but dont take money if you are unwilling or unable to show the property or refund the money. That is more or less a scam. Doesn't seem like they will care too much about their tenants.

We moved in a month ago and for the first week and a half we had a useless fridge and A HOSE CLAMP ON OUR OVEN HEATING ELEMENT. I had called and talked to maintenance people and no one showed. Then proceeded to contact the office. I was informed that there was little to no inspections on the appliances of the house prior to listing. However being charged for the appliances. Days later I received a text saying I told the maintenance guy that I didn't feel comfortable with them being at the house while i wasn't present.(blatant lie).

I had asked for a week of rent off due to paying 2,500 to get into the property. Request was ignored and the company did nothing for our troubles. Wouldn't recommend this company unless you're down bad as I was.

We're in the throws of finding a place to live after having to relocate back here from Houston. it's been a hassle! Desiree was such a needed relief in this whole process! The company just acquired a few new properties so they are busy and took a little longer than I'm used to to get back in touch with me but that wasn't too big of an issue since their customer service made up for it!

The houses are well priced for the space you get. Some other companies seem to price gouge so it was nice to see one that wasn't charging hundreds more and also making it possible to get into a house rather than an apartment.

Swift recently acquired our rental home from Spire properties. We did not anticipate any changes from this buyout. When we did get notification that the sale was completed, nothing seemed awry. Then came additional notifications. What seems professional on the surface is actually a riddled rotten underbelly of a company. I have never in my life seen quite such horrible handling of an account in my adult life.

Do not expect a phone call or an email back. If you call their office and leave a voicemail do not expect to be called back. It doesn't matter really what the case is or if you call to speak to somebody directly. Nobody will respond. They "receive lots of emails." I have a disability and two task-trained dogs in the home. I was given an unreasonable deadline to get a specific form signed by a professional.

My therapist was more comfortable writing her own letter. This is federally acceptable. Swift decided that the letter was not going to suffice. I have since filed a HUD complaint against Swift. It is written in the HUD bylaws that no specific form can be required. Even so, Swift charged multiple late fees despite me meeting the agreed upon deadline with the specific form signed (I gave into this request out of sheer exhaustion from this taking so long).

When we contacted them to ask them to remove the late fees from our account so we could pay rent, they said "We will fix it." We decided to mail a check and we emailed them telling them this. Like I mentioned earlier, the standard protocol for Swift is not to respond. So, four business days pass and someone actually showed up on my porch and left a non-payment notice in my door. Did this person knock?

Of course not. Did anybody fix my account? Of course not. Did I meet all established deadlines? Yes, yes I did. Because of this debacle, Swift has triggered multiple psychological episodes and I am wholly and completely exhausted. This is no way to treat a person with a disability. Hell, this is no way to treat a human being. If you are hoping to rent a home, I encourage you to look elsewhere.

I cannot get out of my lease without paying $600 more than my established regular rent of $900. And that doesn't even include the cleaning fees that Swift would charge me, despite already holding a security deposit. I do not anticipate that Swift will ever return a security deposit when I move out. I do not anticipate that Swift will refund me any late fees that they have decided to charge me. That is just the type of company that they are. They are slumlords and they will take you for everything that you are worth.

I been Des Moines for few year, in my search for living space, came across properties, i am here now, but my experience here has a teaching movment, their building are falling apart, they hire the random people as maintenance for your repair, now i have kids i don't appreciate remdom people going in and you of my house, the other day they sent this guys that look like a serious killer to my house as a maintenance, he told even though i have to go work, i should leave him in my house with my kids in, I said no, no, to this guy, not you in the house with my kids hell no.

The only reason I am writing this review is that i do not like to be lie to. They said the had 24/7 maintenance, that was one of the mean reason i decided to rent from them, it turn they have no such thing. they have this tow company runing around in space where kids suppose play towing tenants car for no reason. If you think about renting thinks twice before you singed the rental agreement, some i should have done.

Desire is the best. We did a pre-walk through she was very friendly gave us tips and pointers on how to get out deposit. We definitely recommend swift properties.
