Only car about money and doing the bare minimum for tenants to pass the law. Will exploit every way to get as much money out of you. 10+ year old carpet you vacuum weekly with a dyson, charge you 100+to have someone with a Walmart vacuum clean it. Window is old with rust, that's your fault even though it's when the house was built in the 70's. They know college housing in the area is limited and that college kids are naive as it's their first time living alone and don't read the lease thoroughly. Pick the hub, park 37, alight, or even terrace instead Slow physically for action and mentally in brain power

Had a poor experience with Kathy York. Businesses are and should be expected to act in a professional manor at all times with a client. I wasn't aware that by simply asking about addressing a property issue that's listed in the contract would provoke someone to act so unkind and discourteous. Professional settings aren't meant for everyone because complacency eventually sets in and once the comfort level increases, true colors are shown.

Respect should be a given but especially reciprocated if treated with such. Not everyone deserves to have to deal with a poor attitude when having to ask of someone to do something that has already been signed and agreed upon. If i could give a half of a star, I would, because at least my calls are taken and I am getting a response.

Very unprofessional and just hard to work with. When I call with questions they don't have answers and just make the experience so hard. The house I rent from them has mold all over the bathroom and does not seem very healthy to live in.

If there is an issue with maintenance, such as it snows on a Sunday and the neighborhood looks basically the same on Wednesday, and you reach out multiple times to the HOA but nothing gets done it causes a lot of frustration. It would be helpful if townside would drive through the neighborhoods they are "taking care of" to see if services they are being paid to provide are being done. The only positive thing I have is if you get a response it's polite, it's not helpful but it is generally polite.

Myself and three of my friends found them at our housing fair and we found a property they owned that we really wanted to live in. They told us that they would get back to us within a week. A week turned into a month, and then a month turned into three. We tried calling and reaching out multiple time via email. They never responded to our emails, and they always gaslit us when we called, saying that their rental agents were too busy at the moment and that they will reach out when they get to our application.

They never gave us any information regarding our application and continuously told us to be patient, but it's hard to be patient when we aren't told anything and are ignored.

Do not be fooled when you see the company replying to poor reviews. Take note of when reviews were written, and when they replied. I wrote a review 9 years ago explaining the issues I had with this management company, and they JUST NOW REPLIED. It really shows how little they care. Please, please, please avoid this management company.

Kathy Y. is the worst Community Manager. She works for the HOA Management Department and she is extremely arrogant and unresponsive. We as homeowners are paying her salary through our monthly HOA dues and she speaks down to homeowners. She is the only person in this role and it's unfortunate that she has been at this company for so long. They need to replace her with someone who has customer service.

My HOA is through townside. The y only send e-mail notification of due date hoa feed. I'ma Covid Nurse and with everything going on this year I have very little time to check my email. But don't worry! They will send you as warrant of debt through the mail! Then when you call town side, they say no call the coordinator Kathy, who then has to call townside. What other company do you know that only contracts through one method? Then when you request to be mailed, they say no. What a joke.

Living in a Townside house has been pretty good overall. The owner of Townside is great as I know him personally. However, responses to maintenance requests since May 2021 have been virtually non-existant, and it's now August. Further, the owner of the house doesn't SEEM to care much about what's going on with the property, but that seems to be the case with many property management companies. Hopefully some things change for the better and I can edit this review.

My husband and I rented a duplex while we were graduate students at the university. When we moved in, there were cigarette burns in the carpet, stuff in the kitchen cabinets, mold downstairs, and laundry in the dryer (including someone's underwear). We documented everything with pictures and a full write up and submitted them with the move-in inspection report they provide tenants.

We also kept a copy for our records. We took good care of it while we were there and when we moved out three years later, I spent two days on my hands and knees cleaning every inch and speck of dust from the duplex. We were determined to get our hefty deposit back. We moved and received a letter that they were keeping our entire deposit due to the condition of the duplex.

I called to argue this and was told to email the. I sent an email and it went completely ignored. I called again and was, once again, told to email. I sent another email and, again, it went ignored. This went back and forth for months and I tried multiple different email addresses, explained the situation to every person who picked up the phone. They were extremely unprofessional and wouldn't give me any answers or explanations. But, they know they're one of the few rental company options the area and housing is limited, so they can do whatever they want. Go ahead and rent but don't ever expect to get your deposit back. If I could give them no stars, I would.

This is for 1440H Seneca Drive, 2nd floor apt. Mold, mold and more mold. Property Management blamed the mold on not wiping windows every day in the winter?!?! At first they said, just wipe it down, and then had a town Maintenance Code official say it was nothing. Turns out he was wrong too. It took 3 months, over two dozen emails and dozens of phone calls and discussions with Property Management and attorneys to finally get them to address the mold problem.

It turns out there was mold in every bedroom, including low levels of black mold. Because of this, Townside Property Mgmt finally were forced to bring in a mold mitigation team, rip out dry wall, clean for mold, and repair, making the apartment unlivable for nearly two weeks! It was a massive battle to get them to finally fix these issues. This doesn't even include the hole in the floor that was discovered.

Terrible management who tried to blame the renters for a building/apartments with major problems. The pictures are from the apartment 2020-2021. And they kept 50% of the deposit for "cleaning and repairs" of their mismanaged property. Unbelievable.

I wish I could give them a lower score. They are unresponsive with an attitude of "We don't Care". 1. My A/C filter has never been replaced since 2years. The dirt is just falling off of it. It wasn't even cleaned when i moved in. Upon several complaints i got the response "your unit do not have a washable/replaceable air filter". Which companies make such A/C units? 2.

Someone tried to break in to my place and took out the net window. I asked them to fix it as I tried to put it back but its broken. They said " you have to pay for this service" like seriously? Its been 3+ months, that window is still lying outside my place. 3. You need to record their statements everytime they say something in person or keep a record of emails or phone conversations cox they will deny you as soon as they get a chance.

For the whole month I tried calling them and visit the office that my rent hasn't been deducted yet, could I pay again? And they were like no no we have your payments. I asked that if later on u ask for payments, i can pay but I won't pay any late fees. They assured me that it won't happen and now I am recieving a notice of late penalty of $61.50.

Who does that? Luckily I kept records so I am gonna dispute the charges but I don't want to do so in my finals week. 4. Also, its minor but i should mention it. My lease expires after 6 months but i got a surprise visit from their staff along with an interested lessor asking me to show my house.is it for real? I didn't get any notification or message or an email that I will be having visitors.

Its very inconvenient. **in short, the place is nice but they make your living miserable. My request to the property owners is please change their property management people from Townside to someone more responsible and organized.
