I visited my friend for a week and really liked the property. Had to get something printed and the ladies in the office were super nice! The printer was out of ink, so they printed it for me. I don't even live here and they were really sweet!

This complex grows mold/fungus and it has been a problem for years. After I signed my lease a few of my coworkers warned me that they lived in this complex when it opened years ago and they had issues with mold that management did not take seriously. I lived here for 15 months and after 6 months I did not have any issues until August when the humidity increased and mold and fungus started growing on the fridge, all over my clothes and bags in my closet and under my bed.

It took a couple weeks until Cortland got a mold company to come and inspect and I asked the mold technician how many other units he was going to and he said he had multiple others to visit. and mind you I lived on the 2nd floor, not the basement level. All Cortland would pay for was for the mold company to clean my water closet and air vents and gave me a small dehumidifier.

They did not wipe down any of the surfaces with mold or fungus growing on my appliances or in my closet. As a result there was damage to the paint on my stove handle because the mold/ fungus kept growing back over and over. I used every gentle cleaner I could but the mold/fungus kept growing. After using a harsher cleaner it affected some of the paint of the oven handle.

When I was moving out I asked the head of repairs to inspect the handle and explained the damaged paint only occurred because Cortland would not pay to have my apartment professionally cleaned by the mold company. I was told that I would not be charged to replace the oven handle. After moving out I was invoiced to pay for the handle. I called the office and spoke with Savannah and explained everything.

She talked with the head of maintenance who visited my apartment and they denied ever saying I wouldn't have to pay. The level of unprofessional behavior that Savannah said to me on the phone was ridiculous. I called corporate in Atlanta and they handled the entire situation and took the extra charge off my bill. Do not live here unless you like mold growing on everything you own. -I also turned my keys into Savannah who was the only person in the office the day my lease ended and I got an email the next day from Kaylee asking where my keys were and why they were not turned in. there is lack of communication in that small office if they cannot tell each other that a resident has turned in their keys on time.

I've been living here since December and I've only had good experiences. Kaylee and Savannah were more than helpful anytime I had questions. Great place to live.

After transitioning to Cortland from out of state, I cannot begin to describe how helpful Kaylee has been in the process of leasing an apartment as well as being kind and welcoming in general. If we all could be half as pleasant as she is, the world would be a much better place. 10/10 leasing agent. 12/10 human.

Kaylee, I had such an amazing experience at Cortland. It was the best apartment complex to live at in Nashville. I would highly recommend Kaylee so sweet an Cortland has your back %100 thanks Cortland!

The staff at Cortland Bellevue is exceptional, especially Kaylee. Everyone in the office is so quick to respond and has answers to all my questions. It's in a great area and everyone in the community is so considerate and helpful. Truly a great place to live!

I just renewed my lease here. Like anywhere you might her of a minor issue here and there but relative to apartment living it is non-existent. The property management team Kaylee and Jasmine and Whitney are amazing. My kids enjoy it here. The rules that are pertinent to safety are strict and upkeep of living in a nice community but I also don't feel like someone is watching with a rule book in the slightest. The amenities are very well maintained.

Cortland Bellevue has been a great place to live. The staff is always helpful, quick to respond, and they all have great communication. The grounds are always kept tidy, and the dog park is a major positive. There is easy access to the interstate and pretty close to a lot of different areas of Nashville. The amenities are always nice, and the pool is a lot of fun in the summer. My roommate and myself have had an awesome experience living at Cortland.

Such a great environment and space to live in. The price, location, amenities, and staff are unmatched. This is my first time living in an apartment and the team definitely made that transition so easy. Jasmine was so helpful during the leasing/ move-in process, and has continued to be present and accessible if we need anything. Highly recommend!

I have lived at Cortland for a little over a year now and we love it! We decided to transfer from a one bedroom to a two bedroom for more space and they made it super easy. All staff is super friendly (especially the maintenance team) and we love the amenities. Our puppy is obsessed with the dog park and we love taking her for walks around the complex. Highly recommend!

I've lived here almost 2 years now, and within my time frame living here, everything went to complete shambles once they got new management. Every last one of the new employees have pretty bad customer service. Their renewal rates are astronomically high. Like how do you go from a base rent of 1090 to renewal base rent of 1235?!?! Don't get me started on the garbage ass parking. Howwwww in the hell do you only have a total of 15 (if that) visitor parking spots and then tow the visitor for not having a spot?! Then, they NEVER answer the phone during business hours and they never give you a call back. Lastly, the service fee- if you happen to pay rent through the portal and they disable you e-check option- is freakin $40!

Like wtf. They act like we in the Design District or Victory Park. Honey this is Walnut Hill and Beltline. whew chile BTW if you want neighbors to constantly call noise complaints on you when you're not even home, this is the place for you.

I moved out a few weeks ago and was hit with a $475 bill for carpet replacement. The carpet was stained in some places, not all over, but definitely could've been removed by just having it cleaned instead of having it all replaced. After my bad experience here I'd think they'll take this into consideration when charging but no leasing office said it was out of their hands and gave me the number to the account settlement department. I would not recommend, place is a waste of money for the service they provide!

I've lived in these apartments now since April of 2019 and I cannot WAIT until the lease is up in July! Ever since we moved into this apartment there have been nonstop issues with bugs! We've killed bugs at least very other week while living here. Maintenance comes and sprays every time but nothing works. The pest control is the maintenance team, not licensed professionals. They've even pulled the kitchen stove out before to spray and the bugs continue to spray and somehow get into our unit.

On 2 separate occasions now they've offered us to move units and the only reason I've stayed is because I'm in the process of buying a home and didn't want to commit long term. Every time they spray they blame it on it being Texas, being located next to a creek etc. that's no excuse! My last apartment in Addison was near a creak and was an older unit and there weren't any bugs at all.

They continue to jump around the issue, there's an infestation somewhere either outside the unit or behind the walls but no effort has been made to find it. Dead bugs accumulate on the inside of the window seal from the spray, which is also another sign that they're somehow getting inside the unit. Parking also sucks! There's no parking outside unit 3625 and if you get home after 6 pm you have to park in guest parking and pray there's spots available unless you're parking way in the back near the exit gates!

They do their best but too many cars are in the complex for the number of residents. The gym in the front office is new and nice and because I've caused such a ruckus living here they've been responsive to emails. There's also been turnover since I moved in. None of the people work up front anymore. Counting down the days until I can leave this complex! And as I typed this review I saw a bug up in the ceiling crawling. I've killed 2 bugs in my bedroom in less than 15 minutes

This was the first apartment I checked out when we moved our office to Irving. It's so conveniently located to everything. It's literally off 161 with easy access to 183, plus it's only 5 mins from the DFW airport. I received exceptional customer care from the moment I took my first tour on their custom trolly cart. The process to signing my lease was also very seamless.

And the living experience is worth every dollar. They make you feel like your living in Beverly Hills and never cut corners. All maintenance requests are acknowledged right away and most of the time done same day if they don't have to order anything! They recently added parcel pending, but before that they had a nice system in place where they would email AND text you a notification with a picture of your package!

Their timeliness and attention to detail is like comparing McDonald's to Chick-fil-A. I even got a custom welcome gift after move in. The most I ever got elsewhere were my keys to my unit and a nice "welcome". This was my first Cortland property, and I'm beyond impressed. Expectations exceeded and I highly recommend whenever they do have any availabilities. Because No one wants to ever move out unless they are moving out of town!

I've been living here for a few months now. The apartments that have been renovated are beautiful and the community is pretty quiet for the most part. Maintenance response is very quick and the staff is very friendly. Gabriella and Amanda are always super helpful when I call for anything or come into the office for a package. They know me and my pup by name and always greet us when they see us around the community.

I have been living at San Simeon for about 4 months and have had to insert a total of 5 service request. To be honest, maintenance guys are super quick to respond. But for the amount that I pay monthly, it's a shame to have inserted so many request to get items in my apartment fixed. The first month my refrigerator went out. My power has gone out in the middle of the night, causing me to wake up in a sweaty mess. Recently, my water was cut off for no apparent reason.

There had not been any notice given from the apartment as a courtesy to me or other residents. When I went into the office, the front desk lady informed me that the Manager would be giving me a call regarding my issues. She/He has not called me back as of going into the office. Also! The apartment is renovating EVERY unit, therefore leaving current residents to increase their rent by $300-$400 bucks or move out. Personally, I cannot wait until my lease is over.

This has been a terrible leasing experience. No communication whatsoever. September 2 - another power outage in the middle of the day. My food is about to ruin. No call from maintenance. This is getting ridiculous.

The new owners (Cortland Partners) randomly chose 30 units to upgrade, notifying the residents that they would not have a lease renewal option. It boggles my mind that they would choose to make such a first impression on the residents. Can you imagine, especially, the families with children asked to leave with just 2-3 months notice? The expense and exhaustion of moving?

The timing of the move disrupts our summer education and vacation plans. The residents who are not losing their apartment cannot live securely, knowing that they may be randomly chosen next. And the reason for all of this -- to make the new company more money. The new rental price for our unit will be 30% higher. Money is the priority for this company, not the residents.

We asked about flexibility, and the answer was a flat "no." No option to stay in our apartment, no option for them to do upgrades in our unit while we are on vacation, no option to re-lease so that they can upgrade early and we can get the arduous move in the summer heat over with. And we have to ask friends again to help us move, after just having them help us up three flights of stairs with our furniture and our things last summer? Extremely disappointing; to be treated like dirt by the new owners. It really leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
