Absolute slumlords. If you are thinking about a one bedroom at WC Shinn Lofts, i'd think again. If they ran any other property like they run WC Shinn Lofts, I would look else where. Thin Walls. Mold. No openable windows. Which is required by LAW. Cynthia the property manager is very unpleasant, dishonest and not helpful at all. She will gaslight and manipulate you and make you feel like a burden for asking simple questions.

Overall would not recommend this place under the ownership of US PROPERTY. Hopefully they sell the place to new owners who can take care of a building and its tenets because it is in such a nice spot downtown and close to campus. Shame it's ran by a such vile person. Avoid the headache. Go with another leasing company.

The worst living experience I've ever had. I lived at the Grande Manse for 2 years. The first year was great and worry free with Devany as the landlord. As soon as Cynthia Avila came to be the new landlord the building stopped running smoothly. There was more maintenance issues effecting all residents (e.g. elevators not working, residents not returning carts to garage for transporting heavy items). Cynthia is rude and unhelpful.

There have been times I contacted her without response and would have to go in to the office. After moving out I was charged rent for the next month even though I cancelled my auto payments. When trying to resolve this by going into the office I was met with attitude and no solution. Ultimately, my bank had to dispute the transaction which could have just been cancelled through US Property had they not tried to process an incorrect payment.

I don't know who that Logan Miller guy is that commented in the reviews under me, but he doesn't know what he's talking about. This place is amazing. The whole team is awesome and they know how to get stuff done. The maintenance is great too. They are very responsive and polite. And what does carts have to do with the management team? It's the tenants that occasionally don't take them back down when they use them. Chill out and stop making a big deal out of nothing. Oh. And this place has a donut shop! So yeah take that as you will.

US Properties has been outstanding to work with. Cynthia, in particular, is responsive and her follow up excellent. A great experience all around.

I enjoyed my experience with renting through US Property! I also have gotten the opportunity to meet the staff on a more personal level and can truly say they are great group of people!

This is the best company I have ever worked with before. They work hard at understanding their tenant's needs. They are very supportive of your business. They understand the challenges that a small business has to face. And they are willing to work with you in order to make you successful. I would recommend to work with this company to any small business owners out there.

Overall a great company to work with and rent from. From the nearly two years of interaction I've shared with their management team, I have always been impressed with their focus to residents quality of living, open communication, and fair pricing.

The Manse, a beautifully restored, iconic, historical building in the heart of Lincoln with diverse, and interesting tenants, is walking distance to the arts, UNL, eateries, the farmer's market -- all of the neat amenities a city affords. The building is ecologically friendly, with re-cyling, paper shredding and lights that turn on and off as you drive through the underground parking garage.

The exterior grounds which include many native grasses and blooming flowers along with the trees at the public corner park are home to squirrels, many songbirds, and today I even saw a Monarch butterfly. The owners, office and maintenance staffs are tops -- they're good people who take care of things promptly. The Manse is a wonderful place to call home.

Worst company ever. They post their office hours from 8-5 and leave at 4:30, which for someone who works an 8-5 job this makes things impossible. They nickel and dime you for just about everything and are incredibly rude about it. They do not fix things on time or ever, have been complaining about things that have been broken for over a year and still nothing.

They go back on their word and are just impossible to deal with. The pet deposit is almost $400, is nonrefundable and does not cover any basic damage done by the pet (scratches on the floors etc.) I had heard bad things about them before but they seemed nice so I chose not to believe the negative things, huge mistake. Save yourself the stress and money and rent from somewhere else.

Never fixed anything we requested to be fix, (leaks). Told we would be the only tenants living there with a business below then couldn't find a business and rented office space to 5 guys to party everything below us. Would never rent from them again.
