Managing your community association should not involve heavy lifting by its volunteers. Our proactive, experienced approach allows your Board of Directors to focus on the big picture and high level decisions.
Services
Assist the Board of Directors in creating, updating, enforcing the Rules and Regulations and/or Declaration and By-Laws for your Association. Provide services related to resale and refinance disclosures (at a cost to the purchaser and/or seller). Oversee and manage the community's contracted services.
Vanguard Management Associates, Inc. is thankful to the business partners that have serviced our managed communities over the years. Vanguard Management has a fiduciary responsibility to properly screen all business partners prior to authorizing service requests and bidding out contracts. In order to fulfill this responsibility, Vanguard Management has engaged a 3rd party compliance firm named VIVE (Vendor Insurance Verification Experts).

I asked if they could give another parking pass but the maximum for some reason is only 3. 2 passes and 1 guest pass. Very inconvenient if you ask me.

Incredibly difficult to get in touch with. The message even says to expect several days before you hear back. Fees were just raised by 3% with no change in what they do. Also, the manager confirmed that email is a viable means of communication and so far, almost a year later, everything is only by paper mail without a single email. Hopefully they'll actually decide to care about the communities they manage since the neighbors and the neighborhood are really excellent. Additionally, they can't be bothered to clear snow or really keep community spaces looking great.

Just an unprofessional HOA. Edit to update months later: the manager Karen Cooper who responds at an average of a week later plus per email has informed me that I can present any issues I may have at an HOA zoom call because they don't do meetings because they're too busy. Wildly unprofessional after sending a home inspection to a completely wrong house. I will warn every single person I know to stay away from this HOA.

This HOA added $70 to my account saying electronic payment submitted online was failed. My bank charged me $70 for not sufficient funds. Why do you charge if I still pay before the due date. Sent email to Cindy De Marco. Not even replied to date

Worst management for HOA or any others. We have them for long time. I did buy apartment in Germantown MD in 2017. Since then few manager that work with our condominium were changed but it did not change results: they almost never answer to e-mail or call, they reduced working hours to manager and to connect with them is almost impossible; we have to have deal not only with our problem but first to find this manager.

Mariah Torries is particularly patient in explaining the process of application for exterior change in the community. Along the way, repeatedly helped with the submission of the required material and gave direction on how to find the necessary information. Great person to work with.

We rented the Phase II Clarksburg Village Club house for my daughters birthday and it was great. The staff was a great help to us in reserving the property and answering all questions we had prior to the event. I will definitely use the club house again for future events.

I am very impressed by Vanguard's Kimberlee Young. She is very responsive to my concerns and does her very best to get the slow slog otherwise known as community management moving in the right direction. She does a terrific job balancing between warring sides in an attempt to come up with an equitable solution that benefits everyone involved. Kimberlee should in the diplomatic corps, she's that good.
