This place is a train wreck from top to bottom. They don't care about anything but the bottom line. Don't expect them to do more than the absolute bare minimum to help you unless it involves more in commission for themselves. If this review helps only one person avoid WestMark and choose a better realtor service (literally any company), it was well worth the time to write this to save someone from being utterly disappointed.

My dad lived outside of Lubbock but because he needed to chemo and radiation in Lubbock, he needed an apartment in town for him and his caretaker. I had hoped that even after the medical attention, he could stay on but he needed to go into a 24/7 care home. I was transparent with WestMark when I rented the place. I have been a rental agent for 40 years myself in other states.
They said they would be accommodating but insisted I sign a year lease just in case. They totally reneged! I was willing to pay rent until they re-rented the place (which was very quick) but they held me to whole year and put it on my credit report. I wonder if they would have if he had died? I hate when companies get more attached to their policies for profit than they are to their humanity!

Career changes can bring on many emotions. My wife and I moved to the Rio Grande Valley to embark on a new Career. Our property had been on the market for 10 months with little traffic with another company. Maureen Gass had managed rental property for many years, after consulting her for advice, I listed both properties with Dee Patrick. With in a month we sold both properties. Barbara and I can now begin our new chapter in life.
You never know where or when two angels with show up or from where, but WestMark provided two ladies that I would put right up there. In a time where we only hear about problems or concerns, I would like to buck the trend and tell you how much we appreciate these two ladies.
