We began building our portfolio in 1970 through the construction of apartment complexes across the southeast. In the early 1980's, Westminster Company formed a property management division to manage these apartment complexes. By 1990, as a subsidiary of Weyerhaeser Company, we grew to over 4000 multifamily apartment units primarily in affordable housing through HUD, with a mix of some conventional and tax credit units.
The SERVICES provided at Westminster Company goes beyond basic property management to provide an increase in owner profitability and resident satisfaction. We're dedicated to making each property a nurturing community where parents have access to after school activities, social programs are planned at senior housing communities and amenities such as computer access broaden the horizons of families who live with us there.
Affordable housing is needed in just about every community today. Working with the Department of Housing & Urban Development, local and state finance agencies and private owners, Westminster is able to provide much needed affordable housing units for low income and elderly residents all over the southeast.
Services provided result in one overriding philosophy that drives our property management style - combining proven management expertise with compassion for the well-being of residents. We are leaders in our industry by taking active roles in our state and national business associations. Our on-site managers are supervised by Certified Property Managers or candidates for that designation through IREM.

I had trouble accessing their online portal for submitting the applications and so I sent in an email to the corporate office. I received both an email and a phone call from someone there. I was very pleasntly surprised by this! He was very cordial to me and took a great deal of time to answer my questions about the properties. So, I really think this was a very satisfying conclusion to my query. Could not have been better pleased. Very professional.

Been with the company for several years and I love it! They treat employees great with benefits, bonuses, training, conferences, and constant help. Audits are intensive which can be used as a learning tool. This company is resident oriented and keeps a good balance between residents, employees, and HUD rules and regulations. This is a tremendous job in itself but they do it day after day with a smile!

Went to lakeside apts in Burlington B.C. and did an application for residency. I tried to call numerous times about open I vs and couldn't get thru. So I called the corporate office just to see what times someone is in there. So apparently they called the site and told them I complained no one was never in there to answer the phone. So when i went in the ziye office thw lady had some no d of attitude an the next week I got a letter saying I didnt qualify for an apartment.

But on the initial paperwork they give you after filling out an application states that once your name has been selected an you accept the apartment then your credit an all will be ran. So I never received an offer so why did she do that? Probably because I called on her. I don't do business with people who treat people according to how they feel. I don't recommend no one going to Lakeside Apts to live!

Not a good place to live if you are the type of person who stands up for yourself. The property manager has given up, you put in work order that never get done and when they do come it's a half ass fix so they have to keep coming back. If you have problems with your neighbor you are suppose to go to the office and do a write up well after twenty write ups on your neighbor and nothing gets done you go to the head manager and turns out he doesn't care either. It's a lot of discrimination living here, you get punished if you're a good tenant.

They allow tenants to continue to dig in the trash even after this tenant invested 7 units with bed bugs. So if you're thinking about moving here it work if you're not a person of color or a person who don't have a back bone.
