I cannot believe this company is still in business. I have rented the property from the landowner who had hired J Brittain Associates. Residents have contacted J Brittian over the past four years to address specific issues, but they have not responded. We believe they only drove through the property once in the seven years we have been here. I am in the process of contacting the actual owner of the company to see if something will happen.
The small community here requests the property owner to seek a different management company to manage the property. We are putting together a list of companies that have proven effective. We also plan to contact the BBB, the Anniston Chamber of Commerce, and the State of Alabama. I strongly encourage any property owner to consider a more reputable management company for managing their private property needs.

J Brattain Associates is by far the worst rental company I have ever dealt with. The process to get an apartment is far more frustrating than it's worth. I am currently a homeless vet, because they won't let me sign a lease by myself just because, I'm a "college student". If you are a property owner I highly suggest you don't use them to list or manage your rentals. I don't know how they are even still in business.

My hot water tank went out, i reported it to Brittan associates their reply was for me to hit each switch to see if it would come on! I did that still no hot water! Called emergency hot line spoke with a person on dutie.we kinda hit it off wrong however i did apologize for my behavior In my email Brittain statement they gone say it was my responsibility if plumbers come out i had to pay No! Come to find out the hot water tank was old Had no cut on or cut off switch It was replaced.
I never ever wanna rent from them again and i will not lease from them again This house isn't worth 975 Whoever lease this cold house will not stay even the Neighborhood say noone stays long Its over moving out

Once again I have had another positive encounter with J. Brittain managing my needs as a tenant. Our dishwasher hadn't worked properly and I mentioned this to them during a lease renewal walk-through. They immediately put in a maintenance request for me and the dishwasher was promptly replaced. The service repair techs they sent out from Servetech Appliance did an amazing job replacing the dishwasher. I have had yet another great experience with this company.
