Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness I applied for a apartment that was already rented out. I was informed I would get my money back via money order and gave my current address since she was unaware it was already rented. I have sent several emails regarding this matter. Nobody has answered my emails nor calls. I would like my money back.

POTENTIAL RENTERS BEWARE: Let me start by saying I gave two stars because the price of my rental was reasonable and the staff was very nice, if not for that then I would have left one star. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. The owner (Deta) was very unprofessional in our dealings and anytime I had a maintenance issue it took longer than it should have to get a resolution (see below): gate latch broken (1 month) washing machine (2.5 weeks) sink leak (2 weeks) without water (3-5 days) Aside from that, pest control was included in my rent but never once did pest control actually come.
I asked about this numerous times and finally gave up. The gate code changed periodically and Dunn Realty never had the new code. The only option offered was for me to hunt down someone that worked at the property to get the code from them. Upon vacating the unit I was told that I would be charged for repainting the ceiling as they claimed it was black. They also attempted to charge me for an AC service call which occurred after I moved out. Thankfully I took pictures and was pretty well versed in rental law for the state of Florida and was able to get them to agree not to charge me for these items.

I lived in apartments on 10th Street for 2 years. After the hurricane came the landlord charged me while I didn't live there. They also never fixed the damages to the apartment the contractors use my electricity there was mold and the ceiling was leaking everywhere I also had a sign on my door saying that I needed to have minimal exposure to my apartment. This was from October 2018 until June 2019.
The landlord charge me full price, the contractors cut my internet cord twice which I had to pay to get it reinstalled. They used my electricity from the outside of my apartment. The company never paid me back even though my bill was over $200 for 3 months. They also threatened to evict me for not paying rent in November after the hurricane even though I had been paying it after that time when a secretary of theirs told me I did not need to pay for that month.
Now they are trying to take my deposit when I had a plastic wall for the past 8 months, an electric wires hanging from The wall and every time it rained it leaked all over my living room My bathroom and in the closet. Do not rent from them

They are the absolute worst. I see they're now charging $950 for an apartment I lived in for 2 years and paid $500. And that was even too high. After we were forced, by Deta Dunn, to move, she refused to return our deposit and did not follow Florida statute in regards to this issue. Our A/C unit didn't cool the small 500 sq foot apartment properly and they refused to fix it. Thank goodness we no longer have to deal with these charlatans.
